Thank you Lou for all of your wisdom, your calming and reassuring presence, and the friendship over the last year or so! Being one for planning, I initially reached out to Louise early in a pregnancy which unfortunately ended in miscarriage. Lou was kind and supportive during that time, and when I fell pregnant again I knew I wanted to rebook her. For the next 40 weeks we got to know each other as she attended my appointments with me and helped me navigate the maternity system, providing a wealth of knowledge and asking the insightful questions I hadn't thought of.

I realised I was being drawn to freebirth, and Lou was absolutely fundamental for making it happen. We discussed plans of action for every potential complication, and in the end I felt confident that no matter what happened, Lou knew me well enough to advocate for me in any scenario. When it came to the labour, I felt safe and looked after, and my son was born 9lbs 6oz in the birth pool without any need for stitches. I can't thank you enough Lou for all of your help in making my dream birth become a reality. You're amazing!! ❤️❤️
