Impossible to cancel
I am desperate to cancel. The site experience is intolerable with multiple of layers of pop ups at every single interaction.
I do not believe there is any way for an end user to cancel and I am hitting dead ends at every turn. As a user experience designer, I can see this is intentional.
Dead-end routes to cancel:
- A help page which gives incorrect information.
- A help bot which gives incorrect information.
- An email address which sends an automated message referring you to the website.
- A phone number with a recorded message that refers you to the bot.
The other option given is to cancel in the app, which means downloading and installing an app.
All help guides have said that you can cancel through the Account or the Syndicate. That is not the case. You can pause, but there is no ability to cancel.

I clicked on the offer out of curiosity…
I clicked on the offer out of curiosity after seeing the "10 Lines for £1" promotion.
Unfortunately, the overall website experience was very confusing and frustrating.
The site is full of pop-ups, automatic page transitions, animations, vibrations, sounds, bonus offers, points, and promotional messages. Simple actions often led me to completely different pages than I expected. It was difficult to understand exactly what I was signing up for and what was included.
What concerned me most was that I did not initially realise I was being enrolled into an ongoing weekly syndicate. While this information was technically provided, it was not nearly as prominent as the promotional offer itself.
When I decided to cancel, I eventually managed to do so, but the process required going through numerous screens, offers, warnings, and attempts to persuade me to stay. Cancelling was significantly more complicated than signing up.
To be fair, I was able to leave the syndicate in the end and received confirmation that no further payments would be taken. However, I believe the website would benefit from a much clearer, more transparent, and more user-friendly design, especially regarding subscriptions and cancellations.
I would advise anyone considering joining to read all terms carefully and pay close attention to any ongoing subscription commitments.
Not sure waiting to see what happens

I HAVE CONTACTED THE POLICE, MY BANK AND TRADING STANDARDS
I wrote a bad review last week when I noticed that payments to this organisation had been taken from my bank. When I tried to explore / cancel they were inaccessible. I noticed several other companies offering to cancel on my behalf for a fee of £10, but they could also be scams. When I noticed another payment had gone through today I contacted Police Cyber Fraud. They opened a complaint, told me to start by contacting my bank, and gave me a number for Trading Standards. Then they gave me a direct number to all banks connecting to financial fraud. My bank said that technically they seem to be above board, but they have had a lot of complaints, and they are not connected to National Lottery. She checked and found that they have been taking payments for a month, starting with £1.00. As I have not been able to contact them and cancel the account, they are cancelling all future payments, refunding the money and escalating it as fraudulent behaviour. She in cancelling my card and issuing me with a new one. I will still be able to use on-line banking and transfer funds to another account. I will, as instructed, inform the Police fraud do that they can escalate, and also inform Trading Standards. They use very sophisticated techniques to avoid cancellation. No access number with a cancellation number. Written instructions to go to the menu in the top left corner of the screen. There is no option menu. An AI chat robot that sends you on a wild goose chase. An option screen that goes from one fuzzy cartoon option with tiny writing at vast speed like a flickering silent movie, with no opportunity to choose an option. If anyone has experience with these people, please speak up. If they are genuine they should be available, open to cancellation, complaint or enquiry, send an email or letter confirming details of any agreement, have a standard cooling off period, and I have heard that they make use of cold calling.
Hopefully I will get my money back 🙏

Problems trying to get winnings to go to Cash Wallet
I’ve had a few wins over the past few weeks but they always go to a ‘Credit’ wallet instead of the ‘Cash’ wallet. Credit cannot be converted to cash (but cash can be used to convert to credit).
There’s now over £100 in credit and no way for me to cash it out. I can use it for purchasing more syndicates etc.
There’s nowhere I have found to set the default as ‘winnings to go to Cash’.
Spoken with various advisers by e mail but they are not being clear about this. I’ve visited all the Settings and Preferences and there’s nothing there to specify for winnings to go to my ‘Cash’.
I suspect it’s a ploy to keep your money within their domain.
Update … it’s happened again. On Saturday morning (6th Jun) I ‘Checked Winnings’ and lo and behold £69.56 was sent to ‘Credit’ rather than ‘Cash’.
I don’t want credit (to purchase more tix within the app) I’d really like cash (for me to draw down). But from what other users say even that seems to be fraught with issues and delays.
Avoid avoid avoid.
