I began using this app at the start of the energy crisis and it was a really valuable tool to help manage my household energy use. It's a doddle to set up and the app is very easy to use, with clear charts and tips on saving energy.
I am absolutely sure that using this app, along with a sensible use of existing smart plugs, has saved me hundreds of pounds since then.

Loving the app, it records my data without issue.
Yet British Gas keep estimating my bills, telling me its because of unreliable data transfer from my smart meters!
I am currently pressing them for a logical explanation as to why this may be the case when my "LOOP" app is collecting and reporting data without any problems.

This app makes it so much easier to track energy usage than my current provider’s app.
There is so much useful advice provided by the service, eg ‘phantom load’, which identified where I was wasting fuel.
Finally, the Turn Down & Save events really made me think about my usage and showed just how easy it was to reduce it. The Amazon vouchers were a welcome bonus.

I find this app really useful. It provides the data I would expect (but can't get) from my utility company.

It's clear and easy to follow. The only thing missing is the ability to use other than a default tariff. But when it comes to comparing gas and electricity consumption over a range of timescales it's spot on.

Its a very helpful app and easy to use. Baically you can view your electric and gas usage by day, week, month and year (as an amount and a bar chart)and by inputting your tariff it will calculate your spend as well. As I have solar panels and a battery it us even more useful as I can see how effective both are. it also offers hints on how to save on fuel. Another useful feture is that it compares my phantom load (i.e usage of items on standby, fridge etc) with other.

Gives me my Electricity & Gas usage, that British Gas can't offer. Without this app I would have to wait for my usage each month from British Gas. My smart meter was install by another energy supplier (SMETS1) which is supposed to be upgraded to SMETS2, when is anyone's guess. Thank you Loop

Great app and free to use. Forget your in home display (or both of them if you're not on dual fuel!) and link loop to your meters for great insights into your energy use.

I have Smart meters at home but the in-home display (colloquially, 'IHD') doesn't work. The sole way I can real time view my energy usage is via the Loop application. This was easy to install and is intuitive to use. It provides the information I need to effectively manage my energy usage and the app is recommended.

I've used Loop for monitoring my home usage of gas and electricity. I've found them to be brilliant! For some reason British Gas had a useless App to link to its home display, but it never worked. In fact they've now given up. Thankfully, I was able to include the meter details into Loop, and I now get gas usage results. Top class!

Installed the app on android phone. Worked straight away. Picked up both of my SMETS1 Gas and Electric meters. Gives me a lot more information than the display monitor originally supplied wirh the meters. Nothing to complain about as it gives me everything I require to keep a good check on my energy usage. Flagged up my ghost usage as being quite high so in the process of eliminating a lot of that if I can. All in all, a neat little app that does all its supposed to do.

Provides detailed energy usage information, as did British Gas before they switched to a new billing system which does not include this vital service.

As part of their switch off to save I said at the beginning I didn’t want Amazon vouchers and was assured there would be an alternative. The charity alternative appears to deal with fuel poverty in England and I live in Scotland so a waste of cash. Big bugbear is after a month since writing to helpdesk no reply of an alternative. Extremely poor customer help.

Since posting contact was made and queries resolved, good service but took a few emails to reach the person required. Star-rating upgraded

Great app to show you how to reduce energy usage, especialy the impact of leaving items on standby

Easy to install and use. Loop shows me my electricity and gas usage in an easy format. British Gas app and monitor never worked for me.

Loop makes it easy to track energy usage and pinpoint appliances/times of high usage. The solar simulation is especially useful for helping decisions about a solar investment.

Great app that allows me to see my energy usage, which I can't see using the British Gas app, which is truly pathetic.
I'd love to see this app be able to integrate with smart plugs or similar so I can also analyse individual device energy usage.
It's already allowed me to work out that an electric heater was costing me £150 a month to run in the current crazy energy price sitaution.
