Total scam of a company
Total scam of a company. Unknowingly, my partner paid for a "locksmith" she found on google to come and change the lock and deadbolt of a residential door. Buddy showed up, charged her $250 advance deposit for a $500 quoted job. No drilling, straight swap for a mid grade Weiser lock. (she did all this before telling me). When I looked up this company they have their address listed as an old motel which was then repurposed as a homeless shelter and has since been completely shuttered.
We attemped to cancel the install after learning of the scam quote. Company wouldnt return her "deposit" and because she paid with debit, bank wouldn't open a fraud investigation. The only recourse is small claims court.
100% scamming company preying on customers who dont know any better.
Never use these con-artists.
