I had a Roo account dormant for around a year, as I had moved on from working for them as a courier. I came across Lomidriver or Bozo as it was formerly known, I actually forget how now! Anyway, I had a brief conversation with Oliver and we negotiated a price I was happy with to rent my account. Set-up is very straightforward, the rider does the work, it gets paid into my bank and I transfer Lomi the fee, plus the rest to the rider minus my weekly rent fee. Easy money each month and since Feb 2024, there has only been around 4-5 weeks when I've not had a rider on my account!

I’m a deliveroo account holder who no longer used my account. Since renting out my account with Lomidriver it has meant I’m able to still make an income off my account without having to physically go out and deliver. The setup process is very easy and Lomidriver find you a rider. So far everything has been great.

The rider was provided with an account and clearly understood and accepted the payment process outlined in the application he agreed to. He was also informed multiple times during the onboarding process about the applicable fees.
When notified of his first monthly payment, he refused to pay and asked to return the account. We explained that even if the account was returned, he would still be responsible for the weekly fee incurred for the time he used the account. Despite this, he refused to pay LomiDriver’s weekly service fee. The account was then returned at his request.
To date, the rider has not paid the £60 weekly fee owed for one week of account usage. After refusing to pay, he stated he would report us, though it is unclear on what grounds, as he has not fulfilled his agreed payment obligations.
In summary, the rider used our services and refused to pay the agreed weekly rental fee, in breach of our terms and conditions.

The sign up process is simple, I don’t use my account anymore so any extra money I can get from it is better than nothing. After signing up they call you when they have a rider available, this took a long time and riders only tend to use the account for a couple of weeks. They take care of everything, all you need to do is transfer money to the rider every week, you get to keep £30 and £30 goes to Lomidriver

Be aware, you are risking your account being suspended.
I rented my Deliveroo account to this person.
He assigned my account to a new member of staff who did not correctly understand the rules surrounding right to work in the UK.
This staff member, who was inadequately trained, proceeded to get my account PERMANENTLY SUSPENDED (through no fault of my own) due to Deliveroo's zero tolerance policy.
I can no longer even use the account for myself.
BE WARNED, if you may ever want to use the account in the future, do not run the risk of renting out your account.

Tushar has been with us for well over a year, and we’ve had a smooth working relationship with no issues during that time. We take right-to-work checks seriously—every rider is verified using their Share Code via the official GOV.UK platform before we proceed. If eligible, their right-to-work status is also cross-checked when the substitute links their Deliveroo account. Ultimately, Deliveroo decides whether the documents meet their requirements. They cannot work until Deliveroo approves their documents.
In this case, the rider had the right to work in the UK but was limited to 20 hours during term time due to a student visa. Although they technically have permission to work, they cannot be self-employed, which disqualifies them from using our system.
LOMIDRIVER is growing, and we’ve recently onboarded a new staff member to help manage incoming applications. She has only been with us for four weeks and was not made fully aware of the nuances around student visas, especially since we rarely receive student applications. Our application form clearly states we do not accept students or anyone restricted to 20 hours per week. Unfortunately, this was the first such case she handled, and it was a mistake.
I’ve been running this business alone for five years and built a detailed system in that time. Naturally, as I begin to pass that knowledge on to others, some mistakes are to be expected. This is one of them.
That said, as an account holder, you acknowledge the risks involved in allowing others to use your account. There is always a chance of warnings or account termination due to misuse, and our application terms make that clear.
We’ve successfully distributed hundreds of accounts, and this is the first time something like this has happened. The team member has now been briefed fully on the situation, including the specifics of student visa limitations.
I can only apologise that this issue led to your account being terminated. It could have happened to any account, and it’s unfortunate that it happened to yours. It’s a loss for both of us.
We appreciate the time you’ve worked with us and wish you the best going forward.
However, I must also say: I understand your frustration, but defaming me or the LOMIDRIVER brand isn’t acceptable. We take pride in how we operate and continue to learn and improve from every situation.
