Second year of ordering this birthday cake. Son enjoyed his birthday cake and we were able to share it as it’s gluten-free. Delicious cake. Service was excellent from order to collection.

Hi Andreea,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience about your recent order with us.
I am sorry to hear that you found the cake to taste not as fresh as usual, and that it appeared quite crumbly and dry to eat. This is not something that is a usual occurrence with our cakes and is not up to our usual standards and we regret that we did not meet these expectations on this occasion.
I can assure you that all our products are baked fresh for the day of delivery but i will pass this feedback onto our bakery.
I will be in touch via email so we can investigate this further.
Best wishes,
Mahir
The cake was beautiful but the topping were spoiled
The cake was visually beautiful and looked very appealing. However, the raspberries on top were starting to go off and had visible mould, so I had to remove them before lighting the candles. Aside from that, the cake itself was moist and tasted okay overall.

I am very unhappy with this cake
I am very unhappy with this cake. It was vanilla flavour, and the taste was really bad. The texture and flavour were not right at all — it tasted disgusting. My kids refused to eat it, and everyone who tried it said it was “yucky.” I even tried it myself just to check, and I ended up throwing everything away.
I bought the chocolate one before and it wasn’t very good, but this time was the worst. Something is definitely wrong with this product. I do not recommend this cake at all.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback.
I am very sorry you have been disappointed on this occasion.
I can assure you that all orders are freshly baked and prepared for the date of collection/delivery.
I can see you ordered the Football cake with the vanilla sponge option which was collected on 24/01. We don't seem to have received any communication from you regarding this issue.
We would like to understand more about why you found the cake to be not as per your expectations. I will be in touch via email soon to discuss the matter further.
Kind regards,

Absolutely incredible cake from Lola’s. The Stitch design was perfect and the cake itself was unreal – so fresh, light and delicious. Every single person loved it and we had so many comments on how amazing it was. Could not fault it at all. Thank you Lola’s for the most perfect birthday cake!
