Lo-Dough is different. It's not a wrap and it's not a slice of bread. It's bread reinvented, with less carbs and more fibre than the healthiest wholemeal loaf. Eat pizza, kebabs and burritos with a fraction of the calories.

I thought I’d try Lo Dough after others…
I thought I’d try Lo Dough after others doing the same weight loss programme (Cambridge one2one) recommended it. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews here though.
I’ve tried the pizza bases and the brownies. All I can say is if you think this will be exactly like the real thing you will be disappointed, but it’s pretty good. The pizza was fine, I haven’t eaten pizza for 6 months so it made a nice change. The brownies are surprisingly good, and at 65 calories each a definite recommendation, each pack makes 9 brownies and they can be frozen so you’re not tempted to eat all of them which would defeat the object. I have just placed my second order. I’m not going to be using it every day, but it’s good to have as an option once or twice a week.
Inedible
Purchased with the hope of creating something tasty with these, but as stated by other reviews it was tasteless texture was a cross between cardboard and polystyrene. Straight in the bin for the others. Flashy food photography doesn't make a great product. Absolutely awful.
I would give 1 star
I would give 1 star, however, I feel like they need another 1 for trying. The 'pizza base' that arrived looked more like a polystyrene paper plate and smelt so toxic, that one could have been mistaken they'd ordered super strong anti-bacterial wipes.I bought these as I'd seen some influencer on instagram (first mistake) promote them, sadly I won't be listening to what they have to say from now on. Having thoroughly read the reviews now, I'll spend more time on that next time I think of ordering something. I am scared to bake the brownies, as I have heard it could be an absolute waste of my time and effort. Happy to give my order ref. no. on a direct email.
BROWNIES ARE INEDIBLE
pizza bases are nice but too expensive id rather just use normal wraps and save on the cost. HOWEVER I also ordered the brownies and they are VILE - as soon as they were ready I had a taste and instantly threw them all in the bin they were that inedible. The price is ridiculous too id rather go and buy two betty crocker brownie mixes in the supermarket. I do not know how these got taste approved before being sold

If you enjoy eating pizza toppings off cardboard - this is for you!
Wouldn’t pay full price - & they really are like cardboard.
I bought a box on special offer, but I’m afraid it really does taste like cardboard to me. I haven’t tried pizza yet and suspect that once smothered in tomato sauce & cheese it may be better. I’m looking for some way to either add moisture or gooey-ness to the rest or perhaps crisp them up and accept the cardboard texture. Maybe if a make quiche the usual problem of soggy bottom will actually be an advantage in this case! Whatever you do I think they are very overpriced and that there are recipes for gluten free or high protein alternatives that taste much nicer.
What a product!!
I’m not quite sure what other reviewers have done wrong but what a product! I’ve made these into pizzas and nachos and both have been incredible! It’s such a versatile ingredient and has been so useful after my dad was diagnosed with diabetes! Thank you lo-dough!!
Feels like a scam!!
I placed an order on the 11th of January and have yet to receive my order and it’s now the 5th of February. I contacted Lo-Dough on the 20th of January and received a reply stating they had a system glitch but to rectify the issue they would send me a free brownie package. Needless to say I’m still currently awaiting the order. I’ve just contacted them again to say I want a full refund.
The order and delivery process was…excellent
The order and delivery process was excellent but this is a real marmite product ! and I absolutely hated it and in fact was actually unable to eat it...the texture made me gag
The product has excellent reviews but I would suggest you order just a pack of two to try.
I unfortunately ordered 12 units but fortunately have a friend who loves them !
Utterly disappointing product and…
Utterly disappointing product and absolutely not worth the money. Tasteless cardboard wraps that do not fare well as a substitute for any carb based/gluten containing alternative. I've been diagnosed coeliac since 2012 and I'm constantly looking for healthy alternatives to gluten containing foods. Sadly this is not it. I've tried the wraps, the brownies and the southern style breadcrumb stuff. It's appalling. Don't be fooled by their amazing food photography, it is shamefully bad.
I have a reoccurring order with this…
I have a reoccurring order with this company and I can’t fault them. They are professional helpful and accurate in their billing. Customer service is brilliant and personally I love their products and have lost a stone to boot just swopping over from bread! No it’s not cheap but then you don’t have to buy from them - same if you don’t like the product - move on. I don’t like beetroot but that’s just personal and I wouldn’t leave reviews about it! Keep up the good work x
Expensive Cardboard
Extremely expensive and utterly tasteless card board. The bread/wrap pieces that come in a pack of 2 are so thin it's ridiculous. The brownie mix tastes awful! Such a shame as such a great idea and looks great in the marketing. Very unimpressed and annoyed at wasting so much money.
Highly recommend, great product and great customer service
So firstly re the Lo Dough, it is really nice. I would highly recommend looking up recipes as it really does have multiple uses, though for me I mostly use it to make wraps, I have diabetes and this just works brilliantly as a convenient wrap, and it does have a nice flavour, I really don't get why anyone would think it doesn't; it is subtle to be sure, but that is what you want from a product like this that you want to be able to work with anything.
Secondly, I am really impressed with their customer service. I recently made a mistake with their website, and even though it was ultimately my mistake, because it cost me a little money they sent me free brownie mix and a cookbook to make up for it, which I think is very nice of them.
There is nothing else like this out there, and while it is expensive (I take a subscription to save money) it is definitely a convenient healthy alternative that I will keep buying as long as they keep selling it. Highly recommend.
Not a viable option at £3.99 + postage for 2. What are they thinking????
you know what, if you put delicious things in or on the bread it's an alternative to bread and has minimal impact on the digestive process which is great.
That said it's not a substitute for bread at all, its fairly innocuous substance and bland. i didn't eat thinking this wrap is nice, just i am eating the filling in a wrap format and that's enough i suppose.
My main compliant is how MIND NUMBING expensive it is. Not only is it exploitative, it just rules it out as a regular grocery option. It must cost nothing to make and whilst i am sure there were costs in r and d, hammering early adopters and people that need it shouldn't have been part of the business plan.
£3.99 plus shipping for 2 wraps is offensively ludicrous given the taste and that its a vehicle for flavour.
Any how, if the prices come down i may try again but as with most of these things that promise the world, it has a significant flaw and that is the price.
Shame

If you're looking to cut your carbs
If you're looking to cut your carbs, then I'd recommend giving Lo-Dough a try. It's super versatile. My favourite is replacing the bun in a cheeseburger with a sliced piece of Lo-Dough -- satisfies my burger cravings!
That said, if you're looking for something that actually tastes like bread, move on. Lo-Dough doesn't really have much of a taste at all, and if eaten fresh out of the packet, it has a kind of foamy mouthfeel. Though I would say the tastelessness is an advantage -- you can use it in lots of different ways. Anywhere where bread just acts as a holder/container/vehicle for other stuff (pizza base, wraps, etc) is a great use for Lo-Dough.
So just make sure you bring flavour from elsewhere, and I'd also recommend rolling flat each piece (e.g. with a rolling pin) and toast it a bit (e.g. pan fry with a bit of oil) before using it in anything.
All in all, I think it's a good product for those of us looking to cut down on carbs.
Very disappointed tasted like cardboard…
Very disappointed tasted like cardboard expensive cardboard at that.
excellent
excellent company ...I am on subscribe and save with this company, products always delivered on time and in excellent condition. In all the time i've used them i've only had one issue which was very quickly resolved with their excellent customer service. Product is expensive for what it is but is essential for my childs medically controlled diet as it makes life much easier
