I was initially attracted to Lode as it represented the ability to use sound money in everyday life. To buy, spend and save with vaulted and audited precious metals combined with the ease of cryptocurrency. This fully met with the writings of Jim Sinclair, the late Mr Gold and David Morgan which I had followed for a long time. As David bacame one of the early investors it gave me the courage to enter the space. As many new ventures it has taken time to get to this exciting moment. The team has deal with continuous rapidly changes in technology such as web3, crypto winters value adding ventures such as mining. I am looking forward to credit card payments coming soonwhich will open up global adoption,bring rewards to investors .

Complete scam trying to scam more people now for 7 years.

I invested in this project because it is a project that is based on tangible things, that is to say physical money and physical gold, a full-fledged monetary system. For people who really want to break away from the traditional system, the Lode project is for you.

I've been in this project since early days in 2017. Many ups and downs in the crypto world but the Lode team maintened high levels of professionalism at all times, with periodic reviews and constantly adapting to the requirements of the legal space. Support also always been reactive and of help when needed. Time to market seems to give them a definite hedge in times to come.

The Lode company was created in 2017 with a simple objective: to allow ordinary people to invest, store and secure precious metals in a secure form guaranteed by an audit of the reserves.
Today, the project has evolved into a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) and has been able to adapt to legal and technological developments specific to the world of crypto-assets. In my opinion, it is a small revolution which risks shaking things up, I only see positives for the future. The project team is very solid and the various partnerships will allow as many people as possible to benefit 100% from the project and maintain purchasing power over the years. I've personally been with the project for the past 3 years and this project is seriously exciting. In a nutshell, LODE has created the ecosystem to challenge the established stablecoins and they're doing it with audited, insured, and vaulted tokenized gold and silver. Once they launch the VISA card program that allows token holders to convert to fiat at the point of sale then it's a game-changer. Admittedly, the project has gone through a few unnerving pivoting moments which took a substaintial amount of time to complete but the wait was well worth it.

Was really excited about this. Sent wire and never showed up in my wallet. I have made several attempts to contact someone. I think I've been ghosted. I guess they took my money and ran. Very disappointing.

I was initially excited about this project and convinced my wife to contribute a substantial investment in its cause because I beleive in the concept of using digitized gold and silver as a means of exchange. After spending too long holding my breath waiting for functionalities that were promised and having my assets/investments locked up in this project, I am feeling quite crestfallen. The constant promises and redirection has caused me incredible confusion. It's like playing a shell game. This is not a good look for new comers and it has frustrated the hell out of long time investors whose investments have been held hostage and have seen no gains.

Support seems to be non-existent. I am not a LODE member now, and am trying to get some questions answered, before I invest. The ads on their site show someone making payments through their phones, but nobody seems to want to tell me how this is done: Apple Pay? Google Pay? Does the merchant have to participate in LODE? I asked these questions yesterday on their site, but nobody has answered so far.
UPDATE June 29, 2023: STILL no reply from customer service to my questions. I got a reply saying the team would be back in one hour, then 30 minutes, then nothing after that. If they can't answer questions to a prospective customer........not encouraging.
UPDATE 2: they responded and answered my question. Review changed to 4 stars

LodePay changed its term and agreements a couple of times. My AUX assets are inaccessible. If you click on my AUX: ‘Service is currently Unavailable’
That’s the norm on and off for YEARS. Emailing this company is futile. This company is based on Switzerland. I want my money back and I know the initial fee of $100 to join will never be recovered. What a scam. No one can take their investment out, No One.
