Great company but Andrea and Matteo make it awesome!
I always use Locauto when I go to see my family in Italy; not only because they have very competitive deals but also because the two lads who work there, Andrea and Matteo, are really friendly, great fun and make the whole process incredibly smooth and a joy from start to finish! You can always judge a company from its staff and Andrea and Matteo show that Locauto is a highly professional company that wants to ensure that customers have the best possible experience they can. Upgraded but actually downgraded
The car I booked, Fiat Panda or similar, wasn't available so I was upgraded. However, it was a big downgrade as far as security is concerned. This car did not have a screen to be able to use Google maps or any warning features to avoid collisions. Mind you, the Fiat Panda I rented in Verona had all this. In addition the display for speed etc. was in the center of the dashboard and the motor didn't sound too good when the car went up the hill.
The young man showing me the car promised me to contact me to swap the car for a Panda that he expected in a few days but that never happened.
Aside this big issue the rental check out and check in was smooth and pleasant.

Lovely staff and great value
Staff were good-humoured, friendly and helpful both at pick-up and drop-off. Good value rental. Smart check-in was a great option.
