It was a quick pickup and dropoff process

Quick service.

The process of booking and then receiving the car was quite fast and convenient. The only drawback was that when I picked up the car, they did persuade me to pay extra for warranty coverage, although I had not planned to do so. They argued that it was "high season" with a large number of cars, accidents and necessary service support on the roads outside the city. Since this was my first trip to the island, they convinced me - and as a result the price was definitely not the lowest.
But in the rest everything was great: a new comfortable car, good equipment, wonderful (although a bit too narrow and with lot of speed limits) roads and a very fast and trouble-free return.

Good, quite new car, easy car return at 5 a.m. One star minus for forcing me to insurance and full tank non-return service with lying about the size of the gas tank to force me to pay for it.

We had to spontaneously get a car because our previous rent company ditched us.
They had a car for us (Peugeot 208 hybrid) right away, no credit card needed.
No pre order, no complications, would recommend 10/10.

We received an invoice about Body Protection about 155 euros. But we didnt book that. We only agreed at the Service Desk from Locauto a protection Service about 36 euros. Nobody answers us until today, and the amount was blocked at the Visacard. This is not ok! Absolutely not ok!

Perfekt service and nice (brand new) cars!

I had an excellent experience with Locauto. Everything was incredibly fast and smooth from start to finish. The service was outstanding, and the car itself is fantastic – well-maintained and in perfect condition. The contract terms are very fair and transparent, with no hidden surprises. What impressed me most is how simple and straightforward the entire process was. I couldn't be happier with this rental experience and I will definitely use Locauto again in the future. Highly recommended!

Even though it was a last-minute booking and the price was high, the experience was good. Everything went well and as expected.

Extremely disappointing experience with Locauto. I was refused a rental because my driver's license had minor physical damage, even though it was valid and all the information was clearly readable. I understand the importance of following company policies, but I expected some common sense and a more balanced evaluation of the situation.
As a direct result of this decision, I lost approximately €1,200 in travel arrangements, reservations, and other expenses that I was unable to recover. This significant financial loss could have been avoided with a more customer-focused approach.
In addition, the service provided by Manuela was cold, unhelpful, and showed no willingness to look for a solution or demonstrate any understanding. I was made to feel like a problem rather than a valued customer.
I cannot recommend Locauto and will certainly choose other rental companies in the future.

Esperienza estremamente deludente con Locauto. Mi è stato rifiutato il noleggio perché la mia patente presentava un piccolo danno fisico, nonostante fosse valida e tutte le informazioni fossero leggibili. Capisco l'importanza delle procedure, ma mi aspettavo un minimo di buon senso e una valutazione più equilibrata della situazione.
A causa di questa decisione ho perso circa 1.200 euro tra prenotazioni, spese di viaggio e costi aggiuntivi che non sono stato in grado di recuperare. È stato un danno economico importante che avrebbe potuto essere evitato con un approccio più orientato al cliente.
Inoltre, il servizio ricevuto da Manuela è stato freddo, poco disponibile e privo di qualsiasi tentativo di trovare una soluzione o di mostrare comprensione. Mi sono sentito completamente abbandonato come cliente.
Non consiglio Locauto e sicuramente mi rivolgerò ad altre compagnie di autonoleggio in futuro.
