Excellent experience with this car rental company. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout the whole process. I was also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary upgrade, which made the experience even better.
The pick-up and drop-off locations were very convenient and easy to access, making the whole rental process smooth and hassle-free.
The only negative point was that the insurance had already expired, which was a little disappointing. Apart from that, everything was excellent. I would definitely recommend this company and would be happy to rent from them again.

I've been charged unexpected and unreported fees that aren't in line with the contract signed with your partner, Ryanair. I filled out your form, and they say it could take up to 15 days to get a response, and here I am, still waiting.

Excellent service and car condition
The service was efficient, friendly and helpful when we faced delays due to flight issues, allowing us to check in well after closing time. This is the second time I’ve rent a car from this company, and I’ve always been provided with excellent cars in excellent condition, clean and with plenty of flexibility regarding the deposit and refuelling arrangements.

I rented a small car (a Fiat Panda)
I rented a small car (a Fiat Panda). The next day I noticed that the front wheel was losing air. I thought the pressure was just a bit low, so I inflated the tire again. On the third day it happened again, so I took the car to a service to have it checked.
There, the first thing the mechanic did was turn the steering wheel and show me that the inside of both front tires was worn down to the wire, but only on the inner side. So I went back to the rental company and told them everything, explaining that it’s not normal to receive a car in such condition because it could have caused a blowout.
The guy there said it wasn’t a problem and replaced the car with a Seat Ibiza at no extra cost.
I gave 1 star because I didn’t like the situation with the tires being worn down to the wire — extremely dangerous.
For the interaction with the guy who changed the car, I give 5 stars.

My experience with this rental Terrible service and wrong car category company…
My experience with this rental company was completely unsatisfactory. The management was poor right from the start; they gave us a hard time just for trying to pick up the car 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. On top of that, the vehicle provided was dirty, and it was a lower category than the car we had actually booked and paid for. Very unprofessional service. I would not recommend them.

Great experience
Great experience, everything went smoothly. We got a nearly new car with only 4,000 km on it.
The only downside for us was the location of the Locauto office. Since we were staying in Alghero, we had to take a bus to get there. We arrived about 50 minutes early but had to wait until the exact pickup time before the car could be handed over. This is something to keep in mind if you’re not picking up the car immediately after landing.
The drop-off was even easier than the pickup. We simply parked the car and left the key in the security box, so we could return it at any time before the scheduled drop-off time.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the service and would definitely rent from Locauto again.
