I am hardly against such business BUT
I am hardly against such business because the data are published without consent. and the company is hidden with cloudflare.
Despite all the negative reviews and issues, and while automatic deletion of my data were not successful I managed to get my data deleted by sending them a picture of a paper mail where my name and address were displayed at their contact mail from my gmail.
While I can not give a positive evaluation here because of the whole concept of the site I still thank them a lot for taking my deletion request in consideration.
If your deletion request is not successful you can delete the search result from Google and Bing by requesting personal data deletion at Google and Bing.
Note that Bing is used by most of the well known search engines other than google (bing, yahoo, ddg, qwant, ecosia, swisscows etc.)
Also note that Google and LocateFamily are very prompt to requests but Bing makes things complicated and does not answer quickly (if not at all, it's been 4 days and I did not get an answer from Bing while Google and LocateFamily already took action)
Update 1: the deletion done by LocateFamily is only done on the requested page your data may be and probably is listed on other pages of the site and thus you need to make a new request for each page where it is listed. Complete waste of time...
Update 2: an other duplicate entry deleted by LocateFamily thanks, there are still 2 others duplicates, hope I'll get rid of them.
Update 3: Bing answered my request positively after one week BUT the search engine still return the result :@ and I received the approval email 48h ago.
Update 4: only one entry left, hope I will get rid of it... meanwhile Bing still does not respect the request they deserve a law suit, there are law enforcing entities like Belgian's APD. denunciation would cost Bing (as an established company) at least 50k € fine, I should do that but I am tired of all this. Locatefamily has already been fined 550k € by Netherlands's authorities but I am a little doubtful about the enforcement of such fine, but at least there are legal conventions between European countries and the USA and thus actions could be taken at the domain registry level.
Update 5 (final): I finally get all the entries on the site to be deleted... it took a lot of effort and mails, I think the data are just hidden not completely deleted but at least they honor the requests and the data are not publicly available anymore, note that once your email get verified further deletion request does not require verification... in my case there were 9 different entries on different pages of the same data. When you make a deletion request it is answered in 24/48h and action is token 24/48h after the confirmation.
