I had a great start with Denis Flemer from LoanLink24. I was very happy and confident that I am with the right team. However, just when I signed the contract and paid reservation fee he just disappeared! This put me in a very stressful situation as I was unaware why he isn't responding to my requests anymore. I guess this could have been avoided by an open communication and timely handing over of my case by LoanLinks24. So, I made my mind to switch my mortgage consultant when I was introduced to Isabelle Renz-Facchin. She appeared promising and hence, I decided to give her a chance.
Isabelle proved herself when she filed my loan within just one day, this was impressive! I was again confident that we are finally on the right track. Everything was expected to work out in 5 - 7 working days. But this happiness was also short lived. Roughly after 8 working days, it turned out into a stressful situation when Isabelle told me that she lost her contact at the Bank due to which the loan application would take another 2-3 weeks. This was definately not an option as the reservation contract only allowed me roughly 3 weeks to conclude the deal and now was almost the end of second week!
I think this situation could have been avoided by maintaining an active communication with the Bank and taking the corrective action much earlier. This is the second time when I wanted to change my mortgage broker but now it was too late. But at the same time, Isabelle offered me another offer from a different Bank and this bank which could fast track our application. As I had no other choice, so we went ahead and thankfully it all worked out in the end :)

So, I am giving the four stars today just because Isabelle could handle my complicated case well and through out, she maintained a friendly, prompt and open communication. And secondly, that it all worked out in the end!

One general feedback to LoanLink24, I felt that the mortgage brokers at LoanLinks24 are under staffed because it's almost never possible to call your mortgage broker which I find odd because I could always call my real estate broker or other mortgage brokers (at Bank and other companies).
The only mode of communication is email and the turn around time is therefore from few hours to day or two which I believe is slow for mortgage transactions.
