Horrid

These apartments are awful. They keep moving people in but don't fix anything. My apartment was in part of the fires that burned out the buildings I was moved to a crappy apartment that someone was breaking into in front of me while they moved me in, it was disgusting upon move in. And there is constantly a problem with the sink backing up with other peoples dish water. Before a few months back it was sewage water now its dirty dish water. And it's literally not mine because I had to stop using my kitchen sink over two months ago. Maintenance even told me not to use the garbage disposal. I can't even do dishes unless its washing them in a tub and dumping the water outside because inside it will just cause more problems.
I was told that they would fix it multiple times and it never got fixed. I'm actually mad i'm stuck living in this hell hole right now. This place and apartments are terrible. The office workers don't care at all about your problems at all. They act like they are going to get things fixed and don't, I don't think maintenance even knows what the hell they are doing half the time and they no longer have an after hours emergency maintenance line. There are no amenities, the pools are filthy, the laundry rooms are broken and filthy, the work out room got turned into a prayer room thing for only one religion, the soda machines are broken and only take card, the dishwashers never, ever work, there is always trash everywhere, they barely did anything to make it look better besides a crappy teal paint job on random places around the apartments.
This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and don't ever move here....after living here for seven years i'm leaving. I'm not going to stay living here anymore.

I have been here 9 years...it's so…

I have been here 9 years...it's so nasty and dirty ...beer bottles every where dog carp everywhere .Even on the side walks ..nasty and unhealthy ..pools nonfunctional and vandalized for years no chemicals available to keep them clean half the time. Railroad ties with rusty spikes sticking up...live wires hanging out of court yard lighting fixtures. Nasty laundry rooms ..ROACHES..mine have there own names..dirt in my section ...no grass just lots and lots of rotting dog poop...matainace? ...You have to beg and bug them for weeks ...for simple problems ..No designated dog walking area ..but. They advertise as being pet friendly...the cement is broken and hunks are everywhere..and the fighting residents will Shirley entertain you on a Saterday night. The mail boxes are always vandalized and left ripped open...and the sprinkler system is hanging out of the ground so all the bushes are dead ..dieing or just barely alive... It has gone down hill to the point of non revival....The security gates are permanently open...there is garbage on the upper level porches and laundry hanging ..on lines all over the complex ..but the laundry rooms are always in disrepair ..So...people do what they have to do .. But it looks so tackyand the laundry is 175 to wash 150 to dry ...REALLY...LAUNDY MATT...CHEEPER ..What will you be willing to put up with for conviniance?

This isn't Donovan but I live in the…

This isn't Donovan but I live in the apartments. I have been living there and putting up with the inconvenience and carelessness of office associates, including the property manager. I have started by taking matters into our own, I'm in the process of getting a lawyer because it's obvious that no one in that office cares of one's living. I regret even signing a year contract, if nothing changes I will be gone soon. I pay my Rent ON TIME every month, you're quick to remind us when rent is due but can't fix nothing in my apartment. ALWAYS HAVING A/C problems!! A rodent living in my apartment!!! My family is tired of it. This probably won't do a damn thing but I'm surely going outside of the leasing office and maintenance to do what I have to do.

Nice but not ideal

The location is beautiful with nice landscaping. The apartments have nice features and some upgrades. Rent is fairly low considering it includes utilities. However, many residents are loud and run around making noise at all hours. Some people have fights to the point where they break windows, etc. The apartment managers and security do nothing to stop all the nonsense, so this can be a dangerous place to live. The managers also do not properly address pest infestation problems.

They are rude to their rental.......should be close down.......and properties owned by Karya!!!!!

They are rude to their rental. Don't fix nothing. The a/c and heat always out. Water links from their ceiling. Take for ever to do anything. Apartments have mold in them. Talk to you like you a nobody. If you do a walking around and the rentals for a survey these apartments will get close do right along with Diamond Hill. Quick to take your rent money but don't t fix nothing in return. Wash rooms don't work good take your money and soda water machines don't either. Four killings was in there when I live there only one was on the news. People out these left and right. The office people is cool with that. They don’t care about your safety at all. But give the worker free apartments add they utilizes bills on your rent and make sure their apartments is token care of but what about everyone else??? I had made so many reports about my apartment to get fix and they didn't send anyone to fix it. No way my kids and I should have been the cold with no heat in the winter 2017 and no air in spring or summer 2018. Mold in my living room on the ceiling and maintenance man said it mold right there. Water coming out my vent. I was there though Housing For Harvey wish I didn't move into these apartments at all. Would given no stars but had no choose!!!!!

Horrible Apartment Complex with Terrible Management

This apartment complex is filthy and has a roach infestation. Management has horrible communication and does not contact you for any reason, even if they tell you they will call you. They do not even call you to let you know that you are going to be evicted due to late rent (that you didn't know you had because your electronic payment was not processed and you paid with money order instead - no communication) just a letter on your door. No one in the office knows what they are doing and they constantly tell you to ask someone else, or the one who knows what is going on is on vacation.

Could've been better

Their leasing staff are nice but not efficient. I had an upstairs neighbor couple that physically fought almost daily and I had to call the cops several times. After telling the office and showing them the broken window they did nothing including leaving the window broken and the fighting continued. As a single female I felt unsafe.

They also closed the pools for the majority of the summer and did not send a notice before or during. I called to ask when they would be open and was on hold for 20 minutes. The person who transferred me told me it was someone elses job to answer about the pool.

The best thing about the apartment is that your place comes with electricity and they have renovated models that are nice.

The worst for me is that after debugging my place twice roaches were still coming through the walls from the sink, behind the stove, and the fridge.

Don't bother.

While I have made great friends and helped create a sense of community here, for the most part the management and maintenance is very poor.

The leasing agent isn't up to date

The leasing agent isn't up to date. I was given a lot of incorrect information and not given accurate information until AFTER I signed the lease and paid my money. One reserved parking spot is guaranteed per my lease yet I have nowhere to park my car.

I feel robbed

I was trying to get an apartment here at the villages of piney point, I did my application turned it in to One if the employees turned in my money. $150 admin fee too Guierrmo I was told that if I decided to cancel within 2 days I will receive back $100 and that the apartments will keep the $50 . I decided to cancel I turned my app in on a Friday and canceled saturday guierrmo was not in office so I canceled with the manager and said that I will come and pick up my money order the following business day when Monday came. I was told that they will nonly give me my money I spoke with the manager and he was very rude and I also spoke with the supervisor which she told me that she will email coroporate about the situation but never called me or emailed me back I called multiple times to speak with Guierrmo but he does not return my calls. The people in this office are very, very un-professional. I wish I never came to them in the first place . The village at piney point needs better management and to work on there professionalism.
