I want to strongly warn people to avoid booking a party at Little Sassy Spa. I recently attended a little girls' spa birthday party with my daughter, and we were excited, thinking it would be a fun, cute experience. Unfortunately, this place is anything but that. If you're expecting a charming spa atmosphere for kids, you'll be sorely disappointed.
From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this place is in serious need of improvements. The salon where the kids get their nails done doesn’t even have proper nail stations or tables—just fold-out chairs, and the kids have to hold their hands in the air while getting their nails done. The foot spas were freezing, and the staff added boiling water while the kids' feet were already in, which seemed unsafe.
The experience itself was rushed and poorly organized. Despite having booked a two-hour party, the entire spa portion was finished in just 40 minutes. The rest of the time was spent in a dark, musty room with peeling wallpaper. I walked in and immediately walked out—it was that bad. Then came the food, which was beyond disappointing. It was so bad, I honestly think prison food would have been a better choice.
To make matters worse, the bathrooms were in terrible condition. The toilet didn’t close properly, and I witnessed a woman walk into the bathroom on one of the children while they were using it. When we moved to the "disco" area, it was just another dark, unpleasant space that smelled like a public restroom.
What’s even more frustrating is that when the mother of the birthday girl voiced her concerns to the owner, she received no accountability. The owner seemed confused about what the issue was and referred to the staff, who actually did their best with what they had. But the real problem is the state of the building, the unpleasant smells, the poor food, and the lack of attention to health and safety.
It’s clear that the owner isn’t taking the feedback seriously. The issues with the food, decor, and overall experience have been raised in previous reviews, but nothing has changed. The pictures on their Instagram are misleading and don't reflect the reality of the place. For the sake of your child’s party, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Thank you for your review, we did have a different outlook on the party dated 16.11.24 and no issues in the comments above were raised at the booking and the children stated they had a lovely time. However I will answer some concerns for you.
All parties are organised thoroughly to ensure a smooth running on the day, treatments food and set up are pre planned and instructions are provided to the customers. The food is also discussed and agreed with the person booking the party and the choices lie with them. Treatments are also preselected, we wouldn’t use boiling water into a Footspa - if this was the case that particular child would have serious burns. We are well aware of health and safety.
We do not have any wallpaper in the premises so this is confusing and we take the cleanliness of the building seriously due to the volume of people passing through, please see video at https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGd2NA1kY/ of the premises.
The toilets have locks on the door which we expect all adults and children to use, if children are not able to lock the door their carer should be chaperoning ?
I feel the concerns are a little targeted, however any concerns with the building you are welcome to come and take a look for yourself, just call on 07495 345734.

My daughter had a party here recently. It was very underwhelming.
The manager who I’d been in touch with and seemed friendly and professional wasn’t there on the day.
We arrived slightly early so we could set up balloons etc but there was no one to greet us and there was a party before us with no time between parties to tidy up/prepare so we felt in the way.
The host didn’t even bother to learn my daughter’s name and just referred to her as “birthday girl” the whole time.
The food was embarrassing- the cheapest crisps, cheese sandwiches which were two pieces of bread with a slice of rubbery plastic cheese inside, a cheap fairy cake each, they couldn’t have made it less appealing.
The ‘disco’ was a teenage girl playing on her phone while pausing some music now and again for supposed musical statues.
There were members of the public walking up and down the stairs throughout the party, I assume they live in the attached flats but surely this is a safeguarding issue??
I think the concept of this place is great but on the day we went the finishing touches weren’t there and the staff did nothing to make it special for my daughter or me. It felt very cheap and basic.

Thank you for you comments above, we are having trouble finding the booking for the 13th July as stated for a mollie - and I was working on this date. And you have also refused to get in touch as requested by trustpilot.
To answer some of the comments above - Yes we do have back to back bookings, but this is made very clear in the booking information as you are allocated 2 hours for each party and we do ask for all parties to be prompt for each booking as there will be bookings before and after, as that two hours is yours.
We are very organised when we conduct a party and maintain high standards as we do clean and set up for each party between parties but they are arranged as such so you don’t realise this - as you would be able clarify your party would have already been set up when you arrived, had it not ?
That is the beauty of our organisation and we have separate areas for treatments disco and food for this reason.
All hosts do know the bookings prior to the booking but we feel the term birthday girl makes them feel confident and special - if you weren’t happy with this a simple ask to the therapist would of stopped this.
I’m sorry could you please give us information on the ‘teenage girl’ as all the staff are trained therapists (no teenage girls) and we do have a routine of entertainment for the group, we would also go with be feelings of the party and requests made by children. As we are a children led business.
The food is very clearly stated on our website - this includes sandwiches (3 fillings) - this is jam, cheese and ham with margarine one white bread if you do not let us know your preferences (you would of been contacted about prior to the party) sausage rolls or cheese and onion rolls, popcorn and crisp cones, cupcakes not fairy cakes and drinks - all is individually wrapped. This is standard for every party.
Also it is stated clearly that the venue is exclusive to party bookings, that means there is no other party booking at the same time - this however doesn’t stop our nail artist to do a set of gel nails in a completely separate room - which does not affect your party (as you were unaware of these treatments happening). This is not a safeguarding issue as you are responsible for your children at the party and you are chaperoning them, we are not a childcare service.
Just to clarify this is a commercial property with no flats attached or people residing in the building. The two rooms upstairs are treatment rooms for our spa bookings.

I am echoing Angie’s experience, utter waste of money. Fair enough I used a Groupon but I should get the service stated. From the moment we walked in to the end of our treatments including a toilet break was 20 mins. My daughter and I couldn’t take a photo comfortably as we were rushed, while on the foot spa, she had her face glitter applied and nails done. Don’t know the purpose of the nail station for show I guess. Regardless of the price paid, a decent service should be provided perhaps if it wasn’t as rushed you would get return business. Hand and foot massage were a matter of seconds perhaps 30 seconds each. I could have spent that money in creating a spa experience at home and it would have been better. A staff member had better things to do like be on her phone so hurried us along. At least fulfill on the promised 30 mins of poor service!

Thank you so much for your review, this does help other customers to get insight in to the packages they do purchase from Groupon and Wowcher, as they are UPTO a 30 minute (stated clearly in your booking message) session and can be underwhelming. You arrived 20 minutes ahead of your appointment and you left after the 30 minutes - I have checked the CCTV. All of the treatments were received as stated in the voucher and also the booking message.
However we did have a different outlook on the appointment as no concerns were raised at the time of the appointment, yes the time was questioned and explained to you. Every time a treatment was done you were asked if that was okay, if you were happy to which you replied yes and your daughter was also happy with her treatments.
The process in which the bookings are done is at the Footspa area, having checked the camera the therapist had answered a customer call - sorry about this I’m assuming if you were the customer calling you would expect the call to be answered too or an acknowledgment of some sort.
There were plenty of pictures taken by you- you even helped yourself to the spa gowns which are not included in the package to take various pictures around the salon - this was done at your ease, so confused as to why you have used the term ‘rushed’.
The massage is impossible to do in seconds as stated, we are trained therapists and again the correct procedure was followed having checked the cameras.

My daughter’s absolutely love this place. I have been several times with my two daughters over the years and Aman and her team have been gems! They made loads of effort with my kids and me too. The shop itself is clean, looks lovely and smells great. We had my daughter’s pamper party last weekend and her and her friends had a right blast. We will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.
I’m glad I had a living social voucher and paid £39 and even that was too much for what we received.
We arrived and was told to sit down on a cold platform (didn’t even take our coats off!) and to take shoes and socks off and the put our feet in dirty foot spa’s. I fished hairs and fluff out before the water was placed in. I had the scrub which took 30 seconds each foot, then a massage where the ‘therapist’ didn’t even sit down to do, was bent over and that took about 2 mins each foot. My granddaughter had a glitter tattoo which came off straight away and then 1 coat of polish which has already come off.
The hand massage was okay if not very quick both of us done in under 6 mins. All in all we were in and out in 30 mins …
Very disappointing … don’t waste your money!

Thank you for your feedback from your booking, I am sorry about how you feel however we had a different outlook on your booking as no attempts were made to raise any of the issues mentioned in your review at your booking.
Yes a wowcher / living social booking is a little underwhelming as this is our minimum package. This is why we make a conscious effort to send these details of the booking and what exactly it includes so you aware of the booking beforehand (sent on 19th March with no reply) - we also send a link to our website so you can check the website, which clearly states the package is 30 minutes an hour maximum, therefore the times are accurate with your review.
I have checked the cameras and a check in with the therapist looking after you. You were welcomed and your jackets were taken from you and hung up by your therapist. We have no cold platforms as all our seating areas are padded (this can be checked and seen on our social media pages) with heaters on too.
The footspas are cleaned and sanitised between each use and you were the first customers to be using these on the day - nothing was seen being ‘fished’ from the Footspa. Also just to mention products are purposely put in the footspas before you arrive, preparation is an important part of our day as our bookings are back to back. The polish was also checked before shoes were put on so we are certain this was not removed.
We are not a conventional spa as we are dedicated for children so we do not see fit to have the therapist being ‘sat’ down but to have the therapist on the childrens level so they are at ease.
I have tried to make contact with you to address these issues directly (no answer) but If there is anything else I can help with please do get in touch and do let me know, again please accept my apologies for any inconveniences caused.

I called Aman from Sassy Spa at short notice in December to see they had availability for my daughters 10th birthday party after another company cancelled on me last minute. Aman from Sassy spa managed to fit us in. On the day Aman arrived before time and set everything up. My daughter and her friends had the best pamper party. Aman made everything so special. Her attention to detail and abilitilty to adapt herself to the children was amazing. I didn't have to worry about anything. The party was planned so well. Aman kept the kids engaged and made my daughter feel like a princess.
The whole experience right from start to finish was excellent. Great communication all the way through.
Can higly recommend Sassy Spa. Will definitely use again.
