DO NOT BOOK A PARTY HERE

DO NOT BOOK A PARTY HERE - I booked a party for my daughter (7 girls in total = five 7yr old, one 3yr old, and one who had just turned 2yrs old).
I know I'm biased but I promise you this group of girls are wonderful, polite, kind, thoughtful, and in no way would cause trouble.

To take these kids to a normal play session it would cost approx. £70 for up to 6hrs of play. Instead by booking the "party package" (inc. Character visit) it cost £200. This ended up being for NON-exclusive play for only 2hrs (something which has apparently changed recently with the newer owners).
Despite what is stated on the website there is no help with set up, or at the end. They were surprised when asked for a knife to cut the birthday cake and replied "um yeah sure do you want to just do it?" even though it's supposedly included in the package.
There is no "party host" unless that is meant to be just someone over the speakers saying lunch was ready.
The food is not as advertised, instead of a choice of ham or cheese wraps the kids were given a quarter ham sandwich and a quarter cheese sandwich. (which my daughter doesn't like as she prefer wraps, and why she chose that food option), there was a very unappealing small sausage roll, and a tiny slice of cheap fruit cake instead of the party rings.
After paying £40 for a character visit from Bluey it lasted 5 minutes. Not wanting to cause a problem at my daughter's party, I emailed them once home to ask for a refund as 5 minutes is ridiculous. They refused as they claimed there was an incident.
After some back and forth, it turns out the 2yr old tried to touch the costume and touched the person's leg by accident which made the person feel too uncomfortable to continue with the visit. Please remember this is a just turned TWO year old little girl who in no way knew it was a real person in a costume and thought she was meeting the "real" Bluey. They claim after this, they decided to leave for the "safety" of their staff...because a two year old accidentally touched the person's leg instead of the costume.
They also falsely claimed there was no adult intervention. I know for a fact this is not true as I was stood next to the mother of the little girl and as soon as she saw this happening she went over, picked the girl up and came back to stand next to me. I asked to see the CCTV which they claim show the incident but they refused, even after I sent a video that we had taken which shows nothing. I also asked the other parents if they saw anything, which they've said no, they've also sent me videos and photos they took which show no incident which would affect the "safety" of the staff from a 2yr old.

Despite my opinion that the party package was ridiculously overpriced, I only asked for a refund for the character visit but was repeatedly refused due to the staff fearing for their safety from a TWO YEAR OLD little girl who was trying to hug Bluey...oh the horror 🙄

What an incredible experience!!

What an incredible experience! Not only is this under a tenner for me and the wee man to have 2 hours of play but we were so tuckered out afterwards we slept for 2 hours! Any toddler parent knows that worth more than gold. Kerrie the manager is so friendly, caring and hands on and you can tell she's put thought into every square inch of the place. There are lockers to store your stuff and larger ones for pram storage too and there are not only normal sized toilets but small, toddler sized toilets too!!
There's so much to do there too; three floors of activities, 3 slides (I'm sure there's more but it's so huge we didn't see it all), a sensory area, trampolines of all sizes, role play areas and puzzle rooms. Everything is Newport themed and the equipment and softplay are obviously really well made and high quality. There's also cameras on all equipment so you can watch your kids whilst you take a breather; my son is 2 1/2 and I was completely happy to let him roam on his own in there because it's so contained and safe.
HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!
