the car buying guide helped me understand what to actualy look for with used diesel engines. Didnt realise DPF issues were that common, would of bought blind otherwise

Like others on here I too was stung for the monthly charge after getting one report for 95 cent, just got a reminder there as another attempted transaction was blocked on my Revolut card, I couldn't even sign back into the site to cancel the subscription, you don't even get good value out of the full subscription anyway, avoid

The VRT calculator gave me a pretty close idea of the tax, so no bad surprise when importing my car.

I signed up for the €0.95 two-day trial on Listocar.com for a quick HPI check and VIN decoder before buying a used car. The site is easy to use, the check came back fast with decent history info, and the VRT calculator was spot on. But it rolled straight into the full €37.90 monthly subscription without a clear reminder, and with only 2 HPI checks and 2 VIN decoders a month it's not worth it for normal users. I had to chase support to cancel. Fine for full-time dealers, but feels sneaky for everyone else.

I ordered a VRT report for €0.95. I knew the monthly subscription was coming next. Thanks to you guys, I was able to contact my bank, cancel my card and order a new one.
You might think this is an extreme measure, trust me, you want to do this because the bank has no way of blocking them, this scum of a company can come back with a new ID, to still deduct the monthly subscription off you.

Update: never received the VRT report, either :)

the VIN decoder and car guide combo helped me figure out if that imported Golf was really worth the price, even spotted a model mismatch, well worth checking

Like most of the 1 star reviews, I too was CONNED. After paying the €0.95 for a car check for my daughter, they then proceed to enter you into a €37.90 monthly subscription.
No emails from listocar to acknowledge you have signed up, only after checking my bank statement did I realise they had taken monies from my account.
How many more people I wonder have been conned by the listocars website?
As for the 4 and 5 star reviews have you checked your bank statements recently or do you even exist.
I am still awaiting a refund.
I will update the review when I recieve my refund.
