Just scrapped my Lister Legend clippers after only 2 winters
Having bought, owned and used two sets of Lister horse clippers, I have to say I won't be buying another set. I've just scrapped my Lister Legend clippers after only 2 winters. I had to service them twice, replace the full head and replace other parts. It's just not good enough when paying around £300.
The clippers clip fine but the parts fail regularly and the Company admin is like something from the 80's. Hard to contact and telephone calls that leave you with the impression you're dealing with a small shop down an alley somewhere.
Sending clippers to be serviced is a raffle when the customer has to chase to find out if they've arrived and chase again, after weeks of no contact, to find out if or when they're coming back.
