Avoid this company . Poor quality items that eventually break. Customer service smarmy and unhelpful . Wish I had read all these reviews first .

Dreadful experience.

Over the years bought several LoL items for my wife, she particularly likes the brand. This year ordered a watch in late November as a Christmas present but when I took it out of the box prior to wrapping it found that the watch strap was not properly attached and came loose. This was on 7th December so returned it as instructed on the LoL web site, and using the tracker it was received by their warehouse on 11th December. From then on it's been nothing but promises that a refund was approved and a refund was being processed. Numerous phone calls and emails later, it's now 1st February, the refund has never appeared despite it being a tidy sum from my perspective. Still waiting for a promised update from earlier in the week but not holding my breath. LoL definitely off the shopping list, awful experience that we don't want to have ever again. So beware of purchasing LoL products from them and be warned that if there are any issues with them you are likely going to struggle to get a resolution.

I visited Links of London Birmingham …5 Stars Service.

I visited Links of London Birmingham store, yesterday 14th January. I was so pleased to have received a 5 star service, Isabelle, I think the store Manager was wonderful, she took her time and had lots of patience. I am so tiered of these too commercial stores who are only interested in “getting the money in”, and forgetting the “Customer Service”. Thank you.

Bad service.

I made a purchase for a few bracelets. I spoke to William who then helped me with a older sweetie bracelet I have that needed adjusting. Well they have had the bracelet since September. And it’s not been returned to me. William is ignoring me and so is the other staff. No one will return my emails nor phone calls. This is sad and pathetic. I expected more.

DONT buy from this very shoddy outfit

DONT buy from this very shoddy outfit. Bought a silver pendant. The pendant turned grey after a few months. No amount of polishing with the links polishing glove i also bought would bring it up. Its like it turned to base metal or lead. Customer service said they wont refund or replace as i dont have the receipt. I have the box and the bag and The ribbon but just because they dont HAVE to replace they wont. They sell cheap tat posing a silver and they know that because they dont stand over their own product line. I have this pendant five months and its unwearable now. Im disgusted with them. Ill be shouting from the rooftops and warning everyone i know. Stick with Pandora.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Spoke with a gentlemen names William the day my order was placed to have charms attached to the sweetie bracelet for my mom I received it 3 weeks later without the charms being attached. Told to send it back with FedEx they would pick up and it would be free of charge and I just received an invoice in the mail for FedEx shipment - $34.22 !! On top of it the promotional gift of the sapphire earrings because I spent over $350 was NOT IN MY PACKAGE FOR CHRISTMAS and neither was the “complimentary charm” I was given. Got charged twice for my order and wasn’t refunded until 3 weeks later. Called and called and emailed his personal line and never got a response back. I had to take to Facebook messenger of the customer service department to receive my free gift from the promo, refund and my complimentary charm. NEVER been so disappointed in my life with customer service. What a joke. Seems there is no one else in customer service except William who answers the phone and I have never been so furious of a company in my life. Definitely my first and LAST order.

First time buying from their website

First time buying from their website.

I bought a bracelet for a new girlfriend for Christmas in which it was supposed to be a great new gift.

When the bracelet arrived it was already broken, the sizing was wrong (I measured), the pillow was split with it's stuffing already coming out. The box was a total mess with the ribbons undone and the overall experience of gifting was disastrous.

You can understand that packaging may be a problem around Christmas with the amount of orders but the product actually being broken is the bottom line.

It was lucky that it was delivered to me and I checked otherwise it would have been an embarrassing nightmare.

I would genuinely never buy something from Links again.

Don’t buy.

No one picks up the phone on the customer service line. The operator tries to help but makes false promises. 3 weeks since my order and nothing has been received. They say they will call you back the same day after they look into your order but no one calls you back!

I would have expected better customer …

I would have expected better customer service but it is appalling. Tried to speak to someone over a necklace that wasnt exactly as described and it was a call back service. It is impossible to speak to someone and getting a quick response to email requested with photos is out of the question. So i am wondering if its a ploy to make sure your out of your right to return. Wont be purchasing from here again.

Poor Customer Service

I visited the outlet store in Portsmouth.I purchased 2 items asked for gift receipts. When I got home and was putting the Links of London (LoL) boxes into the gift bag I only found 1 receipt.
I telephoned the store and all the details were taken and was promised a duplicate gift receipt will be in the post. This was the 20th October. Waited a week no receipt. Telephoned the store and for the 2nd time all details taken and again promised it will be posted , as the 1st one was lost in the post.
I asked to speak to a manager but was told that the manager was in London for a meeting.Left my contact number asking for her to return the call.
Waited and still no receipt.By now I was really annoyed. Also no phone call from a store manager.
I decided to call the Customer care line. I was reassured that LoL delivers itself on Excellent customer service.Speaking to a team member I was reassured that this will be looked into. This was the 30 October.
There were e mails over the next 3 weeks. I then asked for a senior manager to call me. I was again reassured that Head office customer care had asked the store to call me, and the manager has to date not called me.
I have now asked for a Regional manager to call me.
There is a voice message on my phone today saying he will try calling me back later today or try again tomorrow.
All I wanted was for a manager to call and apologise for such terrible customer service.
I am being compensated with a token in the form of a gift card.

Massively overpriced tat

Bought two bracelets for my wife at £250 each. A few months later had to take them back to LoLs because they had become tarnished. The staff were pleasant enough but said they couldn't do anything because no receipt and no proof of date of purchase. I kicked up a fuss and demanded to speak to the manager whom they wheeled out from behind the basement. She repeated the story and said they had become oxidised because they had been kept in a drawer and not worn. I never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. After a fight she agreed LoLs would clean them up for me. They now look ok again and have been left out of the drawer so let's see if they go off again or not.

Two weeks later my son handed me a gold chain and star sign tag that he had bought with his 19th birthday money, less than six months ago. Almost £200 worth of tat that had broken in two. I'm now taking that back and expecting the same resistance to help.

Please avoid this awful retailer and give your money to charity or just buy a nice bottle of wine. The sense of wellbeing and satisfaction will last far longer than if you waste your cash at Links.

Over 3 weeks and still no refund received...

Item returned and acknowledged as being received. 20 days later, still no refund. Began chasing this and, another 48 hours later, still no refund and no confirmation that it is even being processed. Another telephone call and I am being told part of their system says it has been refunded, part says it hasn't. Links acknowledge this is an error due to their systems, but still are not able to do anything about it at the moment. Apparently they need to "investigate" with their warehouse, but their internal procedures do not allow them to call their warehouse! They have to email them and wait for a response. Apparently, they will "try again" but cannot promise they'll get it resolved straight away or get back to me quickly! Bottom line is that 23 dauys after returning an item, no refund has been received and Links are more interested in their internal procedures than customer service. My advice, stay clear, especially from online orders.

Rubbish quality charm

My husband brought me a birthstone charm to mark a bereavement. After one wear the birthstone fell out! Of a £60 charm. I returned to the store, they offered to exchange however when I pointed out I had paid half the price of the charm to have it soldered, to have it removed and then resolded on, I was told this is not their problem. Although she admitted the faulty charm was. Luxury prices, bargin customer service. Not impressed at all. Another customer who won't return

Look elsewhere bad quality & no customer service

I purchased the rose gold & silver masquarade heart earrings. Very pretty but after only a few times of wearing the rose gold started to wear off which left the darker silver showing through. As this thinning was just in certain places it made the earrings look really dirty and cheap so couldn't wear.
Contacted links of london and was told to post or take to my nearest shop.
I got the train as I live in Tamworth and went to my nearest store in Birmingham city centre, the staff looked at the earrings and agreed they looked dirty so they would put them in their cleaner, when they returned the earrings they said it wasn't dirt that the rose gold was wearing off and as I had them over 12 months they could not exchange or give me my money back. I did try to reason with them and told them I had only worn them a few times and only a couple of times overnight so surely their processing was not right and the accompaning necklace was fine. Couldnt get any further joy with a replacement or refund they just advised me to take them to a jeweller to have the rose gold completely removed so at least they didn't look tarnished.
I have a few items of theirs but only these earrings and necklace that are two tone but cannot wear necklace even though no change in colour but as I can't wear the earrings just a waste of money.
My honest advice is not to purchase anything two tone as their plating process certainly seems to be inadequate for these bobbly types of design or anything jewellery piece, to be honest I don't think I would purchase anything from this jewellery range again as there is obviously a fault from their side both in manufacturing, quality control and customer service so for a supposed luxury brand should have treated me better as their range is expensive.

Tried to submit query by email via contact us area of website but comment text went red and would not send (no error message). Called customer service team picked up and put on hold by Lilly without speaking. When she spoke to me she advised all service agents busy. Products okay, service poor, website poor and people don't care about customers.

Links of London? Buyer beware!

Links of London

Buyer Beware!!
Before you make another purchase with LINKS OF LONDON you should know:. Customer Service Manager, they will not repair nor replace items that FAIL after 1 year.
"As the bracelet’s thread is hand woven, we do not offer any cleaning or rethreading services due to the delicate nature of the material. Also as the item is no longer in production and not in stock in any of our locations, we cannot offer a replacement."
WOW!! LINKS OF LONDON!!!
It's jewelry!! I have an expectation that it will last more that 1 year.
Shoddy merchandise- shoddy customer service!

Sent the incorrect item then had to chase to get it corrected

I was sent the wrong charm for my neices 18th birthday yet I was the one having to chase and be inconvenienced to get the correct charm sent to me. I was given misinformation by thier customer service team, the delivery agent DPD were also shoddy in thier service and the end result was that my neice didn't get her present on time, when had the right items been sent there would have had plenty of time. Despite my protests of bad service and inconvenience all I have been offered is a hollow apology and 20% off of my next purchase, as if I would buy from them again
Should have gone to Tiffany!!

Lot's of unhelpful customer service, avoid. LoL (Links of London).

Regrettably, the customer service is amongst the worst I've come across, they may as well just not provide any, and avoid receiving the frustrating 'computer says no' Links of London messages.
My watch has just stopped working after just over 1 year. The watch booklet says batteries should need changing every two years. I contacted the phone help line to report it, and also the problem I have had with the strap and asked for a return address and number so that I can get the watch serviced. 3 emails later, I have conflicting advice, batteries are under warranty for 2 years, 6 months, and finally, not at all. I need to take the watch to the nearest LoL shop. That's not easy if you don't live in London! I explained about the intermittent problem with the catch springing off from day one. I was advised straps are not covered under warranty and this was 'wear and tear'. Clearly it was a manufacturing defect as it's been doing this when I received it.
So the end result is a watch that is not working, the strap buckle intermittently, falls off, I am faced with a Trip to London, and repair bills, and regretting wasting my money on a poor product. A sad day.

Bad customer service time after time

Further to my recent post I was promised that after they can't repair £350 worth of product or exchange or refund, links of London would send my bracelets back with a £50 voucher for my issues and there gratitude (brilliant!!!). I didn't hold my breath after I was promised full value back of products back in vouchers when the manager was back but never heard back in 3 weeks so had to chase it up to be told no!!!!!
When the parcels was retuned low and behold no £50 voucher total bad customer service this company!!!
I also asked them to listen back to the initial call to prove I was advised I would get full value back to me in return of customer service manager and again no reply from the links of London customer service manager. Total disgust for this company and their services.
Tried to leave a post on their Facebook pages but again it never gets posted on the page.
