Gavin was friendly, punctual and conscientious. Both he and his colleague were patient, highly knowledgeable about their trade and happily endured numerous inquisitive phone calls from me!

I'd booked the lift removal + aperature reinstatement but when Gavin reached the latter part, he informed me the existing joists weren't level and that it may be worth the builder I was employing at the time handled the reinstatement as more work was required than he could fulfil. He could have quite easily gone ahead and completed the work and charged me full price for something that may have needed doing again as part of my wider renovation but he honourably decided against this.

Gavin arrived very promptly, worked hard all day and I would recommend him to anyone. He charged a very reasonable price and did a great job. Well worth a five star review.

I was very impressed with the experience from start to finish. We hired Gavin to remove a Stiltz Duo Home Lift that had been taking up space. It was easy to arrange the removal via email; and Gavin travelled to my location the day before, keeping me updated on timings throughout.

On the day of the removal, he arrived promptly at 7:30am and, within just six hours, had completely removed the lift. He also made good the electrics, floor, and ceiling, leaving only a small amount of plastering for me to complete.

He was pleasant to work with, efficient and professional throughout. He left everything tidy, took all the waste away, and - importantly- got on very well with my dog.

Another aspect that particularly impressed me was the transparency and honesty in the pricing; it offered fantastic value for the quality of work. I’m delighted to have reclaimed the space.

From getting in touch with Gavin with my request to when the job was completed he was professional , tidy and moist importantly did a fantastic job of dismantling and removing the lift, and leaving the room in a tidy way.
It was not a straight forward job but with years of experience and a high level of skill, Gavin got the job done in a day.

Firstly I will say that Gavins website is one of the best I have used.
It answers all questions, including some I wouldn't have thought to ask, gives prices upfront and is really informative.

Gavin arrived early and worked hard throughout the day ,he was happy to explain what he was doing throughout the day.
I had contemplated removing the lift myself but having seen the workings once the covers were removed i was very glad i didn't!

Gavin did a great job. Communications leading up to the job were dealt with promptly. Whilst on site, he worked hard but was good company and very helpful. Most importantly, he did a really good job of taking out our old Pollock lift.

Excellent! Arrived spot on time (and we're in Cornwall) and was just as friendly and efficient as all the other reviews said. He did a lovely job too - the removal of the lift itself was just the start, then the reinstatement of the ceiling and floor above was acccomplished with minimum disruption too. All in all, an excellent choice. We would have him back in a heartbeat - butno more lifts!

Gavin did a fantastic job of removing a lift as well as an outside step lift. The work was completed to a high standard and at a reasonable price. I recommend this company to anyone looking for lift removal from their property.

Gavin went absolutely above and beyond. A truly great guy. Very professional, very friendly, on time. He worked really hard and did a fantastic job. We have a lot of work on at the moment as we have bought a new property that needed lots of things doing so had roofers in at the time and even they commented on his work ethic. Arrived when he said and got straight to work. Friendly and professional with respect for our home. As an ex builder I can say the job was completed to the highest standard and if I had let him, he would have hoovered the whole house.
