Great product (replacement bulb for…

Great product (replacement bulb for high vision reading light). The bulb is expensive but so good that it is worth every penny! I use my lamp for sewing and crafting. I’m really pleased to be able to source a new bulb in the UK, and posting was quick too

I am blown away by the Lifemax Might Fan

I am blown away by how amazing the Lifemax Mighty Fan is. The fan may be small in size but the amount of cool air that is blasted from it is just astonishing!
This item sits perfectly on my bed side table and has kept me cool all through the hottest nights! Highly recommended!!!

I have the Mighty Fan

I have the Mighty Fan. It has been brilliant over the last few days on my desk. Very sturdy compared to others and as rechargeable no wires to get in the way! Recommend.

Rechargeable foldaway fan

I purchased the rechargeable foldaway fan from Lifemax.
It is even better than I expected for the price. It folds away compactly which means it’s really easy to move from
Room to room or even pack for a night away.
Highly recommend.

Purchased a VERY expensive lamp

Purchased a VERY expensive lamp. Now out of warranty. Asked them for a VERY small part to repair it = NO cant help you. = RUBBISH customer care.

As stated in your email your light is outside of the warranty period, which is unfortunate.
We are unable to send out the requested capacitor as our High Vision Reading Lights do not have any inside serviceable parts so we do not carry individual components.
As per our email we are sorry that we can not help you on this occasion.

Video doorbell

I had a problem with my video doorbell it just stopped replaced the batteries approximately three times so I opened up item as it was past the years warranty I checked it out and what I could see was behind the push button there are two brass or copper lots of small strips one lot was like it had burnt black I got in touch with life max and was told a chap Called Tom Cowling called me and told me that because I had opened it up the warranty was void I had said it was the only way I could find out what the problem might have been all I was asking for was some help and in what could be done basically told me nothing all I was asking for was some help so I would have to think seriously if anyone is thinking of purchasing one if anything goes wrong don’t expect any help from them

Humidifier to avoid

I brought a Humidifier through The Range it wasn’t cheap at £44.99 and all I’ve had is trouble with the washer that seals the water in the tank
Customer service replied.

Good afternoon

Unfortunately, we do not have any spare parts for this item.
You should be able to purchase washers in a DIY shop or online, possibly with Amazon.
We do not have a replacement cap as we very rarely get a return on this item. We can put one aside if it does come in, but I cannot guarantee that happening.

I bought a Lifemax magnifying lamp via Superdrug

I bought a Lifemax magnifying lamp via Superdrug’s website and after 5 weeks of receiving it and only a couple of days usage, the LED ring light exploded and melted the plastic body of the lamp. It was obviously faulty and dangerous. I’d paid £30 for it and, even if I’d wanted to replace the non-standard ring-style bulb, that would still cost me another £12.

Superdrug’s online webchat facility said that I must contact Lifemax myself as it’s one of their ‘3rd party suppliers’. I was unable to speak to a human being as it seems that Superdrug no longer have that facility. There are no phone numbers on their website and you can only type messages to an anonymous webchat assistant who eventually supplied an email address and Lifemax’s phone number.

When I called Lifemax, I spoke to someone called Andrew who insisted that, despite my description of a melted lamp, it was up to me to send it back to them at my cost so that they could examine it as they only supply a ‘return-to-base’ guarantee. They don’t supply free return labels.

I sent it back (£6.50 postage) and requested a full REFUND. I included a description of the fault, my email address and phone number. I was no longer interested in waiting for a replacement as I’d bought a new study lamp locally.

I was thoroughly irritated when 10 days later, out of the blue, a new(?) replacement lamp was delivered to my home with no accompanying explanation as to why my refund request was ignored.

I no longer require the lamp. I quite clearly made a written request for a refund as it was FAULTY. I even spoke to ‘Andrew’ who instructed me to mark the package for his attention - which I did. He obviously ignored my accompanying message, decided to send me a replacement (in an old battered box) and now I’m stuck with a lamp I have no use for that’s cost me £36.50 total.

Very angry!

If a lamp melts, it’s faulty. By law, I’m entitled to get a refund. It’s not their choice.

Avoid this company if you ever

A Useful and pleasant experience.

I became visually impaired and was bought a LifeMax wristwatch as a gift in 2017. Once set up the talking watch is really easy to use and is a nice light alternative to always needing my phone on. Recently also my watch needed a battery replacement and restart and I couldn't really fault the company in any real way for the service on that too. They were easy to reach by phone if needed, provided good communications and best is I soon got my watch back working pretty much exactly as I had last heard it. Many thanks for the watch and the recent service too.

I have recently bought a solar watch…

I have recently bought a solar watch charger from this company via a third party which has not been delivered. Two weeks a drew a blank as to ever receiving the item as the third party company we’re not responding to me emails. By complete chance I spoke to Claire from the customer service team at Lifemax . She was amazing and immediately resolved my issue sending a replacement out . The customer service I have received from them is amazing. It wasn’t the fault of lifemax but they have resolved. Thank you so much and what a pleasure it has been to do business with yourselves. Well done guys 5 star ⭐️
