If only there was a negative rating. Absolute garbage company. After 1 hour of ordering from a restaurant it was cancelled. Annoying but ok. HOWEVER, when Lieferando (as required) refunded me for my order, they did NOT refund the tipp. After contacting them (which the only way is email now, no real person chat bot or phone number) they said they didn’t have the capacity to refund the tipp. Even though NOTHING was delivered. Who was tipped? And for what? They refused to even give me a credit for 2 euro to my account. They just stopped answering me. WORST customer service. In world of 1000 delivery options, don’t choose this terrible company. Deleted account forever. Taking my business to Wolt.

Unfortunately I can’t give a 0 star rating right now. I placed an order around 9:15 AM for two subs from Subway Krefeld via Lieferando, paying extra for delivery. The app said delivery within 40–60 minutes, but after 2 hours of waiting, calls, and messages, nothing arrived.
When I called Subway, they claimed they don’t even work with Lieferando, which is absurd since their shop is listed there. I was unwell and needed food to take medication, yet both Lieferando and Subway gave me zero help — just a useless chatbot and delayed responses.
A Lieferando employee from Berlin later called and rudely insisted it was written on the app that Subway opens at 11 AM, which is completely false. Nowhere on the app did it say that, It’s not the first time im using their app and even Google lists their opening time as 9 AM nor did the subway employee say otherwise.
This isn’t about 30 euros which he said he won’t give— it’s about respect, honesty, and basic customer service.
If you can’t deliver or communicate properly, don’t offer the service.
Never using Lieferando or Subway Krefeld again.And as for the guy who called from Berlin, learn some respect.

This is the second time I have an issue with Liferando.de. This time I have not received my order, the courier checked it as delivered so I’m left with nothing. There is also no way of contacting customer service, as I wouldnt count AI as customer service, it just loops the same answer over and over again. After reading the reviews, I’m not about to wait half a year for an answer, so Liferando.de i demand my money back for order M7PM3D as soon as possible, as mentioned I never received the order, the courier probably took it for themselves.

I can't imagine a worse service.
We ordered some fried chicken through Lieferando, expecting a normal dinner delivery. What we got instead was a two-hour nightmare of dealing with the most useless chatbot ever designed.
After 1 hour and 50 minutes, our food still hadn’t arrived. We tried contacting support, but you can’t, because Lieferando apparently thinks a chatbot that loops you in circles counts as customer service. You tell it your order hasn’t arrived, and it replies, “Maybe it was left somewhere.” Then it asks, “Is there anything else I can help you with?” over and over, like a bad joke. There’s no human, no escalation, nothing.
In the end, we literally got in the car and drove to the restaurant ourselves. Guess what? Our food was just hanging there, waiting to be picked up, probably for ages. The restaurant did their job of cooking the food. But we had to do Lieferando's job, because they couldn’t do theirs.
So we paid for delivery, waited almost two hours, then delivered our own food, reheated it, and finally ate. The only question I’m left with is: why did I pay Lieferando at all?
If you’re considering ordering through them, save yourself the frustration. Either call the restaurant directly or use literally any other service. This one has hit rock bottom.

We are long term customers at Lieferando.de and are overall satisfied until today. We received a voucher for many orders at one restaurant. The voucher number has been typed into the intended field during the order has been placed. By changing the payment method, the voucher disappeared… probably a system bug… The problem is how the service team at Lieferando.de is dealing with such a claim. We subscribed the problem and ask for support but there was just a poor excuse about what happened (no help). Highlight is the ending of the e-mail: Quote: Bei Fragen kontaktieren Sie uns bitte nicht und nutzen Sie nicht das Hilfe-Center = please do not contact us

I ordered sth and after 40 minutes it says it’s delivered, but nobody delivered it.
Send message to customer service and they said they get back to me by email. I mean, it’s a food delivery service. It’s not DHL. No wonder why Uber is ahead. I’ll come back to Uber and never order from Lieferando again.

The driver came in Café Glück und Selig at 12.35 hrs on September 28th 2025. He never brought the order to my Adress. I picked the order myself @ Café Glück und Selig after 1 hour and 15 Minutes waiting at home. The driver was then very unfriendly in front of the Café. He never apologized for being more than 1 hour too late. No delivery at all. The order was confirmed at 11: 14 hours. I have the receipt.

A bunch of liars runs the company and its policies. My order was delayed by an hour, and I was told that a voucher as compensation would be provided, which I would receive within 2 days. I never received it, and despite connecting with support for the same several times, there was no resolution. Never ordering from this app ever again.

The second time now I have waited over an hour for my delivery which I pre-ordered for a specific time. I received no notifications for the delay, the progress, the reasons and then no compensation in any way. I’m moving to Uber Eats.

The company took money from my PayPal account for an order I did NOT place in Germany, while living in the Netherlands under a completely different address. While I have mailed customer support about this, the company has failed to reply to my message that's now three weeks old. It's a terrible shame, a downright theft.

The website has too many bugs to count, the user experience is clunky and particularly made annoying by the slow loading times. To top it off, now they're forcing users to create an account instead of using cookies (like they previously did) to remember user details. In the year 2025, auto-filling delivery info is just a tap away from a modern mobile browser so the excuse that "it's faster" doesn't hold.
Update: of course they did it the user account enforcement as a ploy to send users marketing emails, despite not signing up for them - likely to have an excuse around GDPR regulation.

The delivery never showed up or called us even though we waited in the lobby of our hotel for almost an hour. After contacting Lieferando they said the delivery tried calling, which was not the case, and refused a refund or new order being sent out. After insisting they stopped replying. Felt very cheated by Liesferando and it seems like this is a common practice for them. Will never use again.

After a brief conversation with him I realized other delivery apps use Cars, motorbikes or even an electric bike.
Bless his soul, but I found this so ridiculous. He would have only reached me on time for breakfast.
The app is also horrible to navigate on. Better off with Uber eats next time.

Customer service is not readily available, waiting 2 months now for feedback on an order that was never delivered. - and replying with an automated message that you receive an unprecedented amount of messages is not helpful at all, hire more people because that sounds like a Lieferando problem.

No food or refund. Liferando did 0 investigation just said seller will not refund and that's it. And until today o got no refund nor food. Seems like charge back is only thing that guarantees refund. Will avoid these crooks in future.
