Overall

We love Lidl especially middle isle. Oranges not very good , easy peelers satsumas and green grapes amazing. It appears any fruit from Africa is great. I don't understand the low reviews. If Lidl extend to Sainsbury's level and the prices remain competitive they will wipe the floor. This week kingfisher tuna in brine 55 p a tin wow

Lidl Nakskov 20.01.25

Lidl Nakskov 20.01.25
Dear Lidl Customer Service,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at your Nakskov location.
During my last visit, after completing my purchase, I realized I had forgotten to ask for an additional shopping bag. When I approached the cashier to request one more bag, I was surprised by her immediate dismissal as she turned her attention to another customer. I understand that efficiency is important, but there was an opportunity to assist me without causing undue delay to others, especially since I was only asking for a single bag.
The cashier's response made me feel undervalued as a customer. Rather than addressing my simple request, she prioritized the other customer without offering any acknowledgment or common courtesy. I believe a customer-centered approach is crucial in the retail environment. I felt a lack of respect in that moment, and it has prompted me to reconsider my future shopping choices at Lidl.
I appreciate the fact that you hire new staff, and I hope that training is emphasized as well, so that they can provide a supportive and respectful shopping experience for all customers.
I hope that my feedback can help improve service in the future, as I have always appreciated Lidl’s offerings.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my concerns.

**Review for Lidl

**Review for Lidl - Gorton Branch**

⭐☆☆☆☆

I have been a loyal Lidl customer, always appreciating the convenience, value, and typically friendly atmosphere. However, my recent experience at the Gorton store has left me feeling disappointed and disrespected.

During my visit on 29/10/24 at around 9:20 am, I was confronted with disturbingly rude behavior from a staff member named Eyan at the self-service checkout. As I approached, he immediately stopped me to announce that it was card-only, which was fine since I intended to pay by card. However, his tone was abrupt and dismissive, setting a negative tone from the outset.

The encounter worsened when, as I was scanning items, Eyan came over unprompted, took an item directly from my hand, and scanned it without asking if I needed assistance. It was intrusive and uncomfortable, leaving me feeling as if my personal space and autonomy were completely disregarded. Finally, as I finished, he snatched the basket away with such force that the noise startled me, adding to the feeling of being belittled and rushed.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Lidl, but this experience made me question my choice. It's disappointing to see employees act in a way that alienates loyal customers, making the atmosphere uncomfortable rather than welcoming. I hope Lidl addresses these issues, as experiences like this could drive customers away.

CAR PARK MUGGERY, Hmm where to start

Hmm where to start. PARKINGEYE that's the problem with lidle allowing their customers to be robbed by those thieves. Your shop will cost you an extra £45 if you pay your overstay penalty promptly or otherwise it will be £90 They also know that they CAN and have the power to get your parking charge expunged with just an Email but they will not and they will lie to you and give you bogus information via their store managers even though you sow them your £120 shopping bill. They do not value you as a customer or they'd go out of their way to help you, providing you have a receipt for that days shop. Other stores will do it for you as they value your custom. Well lidle your Lazy, Ignorant of peoples needs and feelings. I had to Email them at their compliance dept and remind them of the Equalities Act 2010 as I have a disability, its left me upset and disgusted that they uphold being mugged in their own car parks, because its as good as. No doubt Lidle will pass the buck and say the car park is nothing to do with them. But it must be, who insures the car park for public liability I'd like to know? Why have a large store and deny control of your carpark, doesn't make sense.

Never shopping there again

Having been a regular customer of Lidl Nuneaton several years ago I haven’t shopped there for nearly three years, I stopped when a member of staff decided to shout across the store that I was not allowed to take a small basket of groceries outside of the store and should buy a bag. Shouting at customers across the store is not acceptable so I have not returned until this afternoon.
Early this afternoon I visited the Nuneaton store. About two thirds of the way into the first aisle a member of staff with a pallet truck of stock pushed away other shoppers trollies and nudged me into the side of the aisle before stopping and front of me and pushed away a couple of other shoppers trolleys, My comment to him was “what the hell is a matter with you”. He is obviously instructed not to argue with customers as he gave me a blank look and continued to fill the shelves.
Half way round a girl was also stacking the shelves. As we passed, an empty box was thrown onto the floor and landed less than half an inch from my wife’s feet. No apology from her and my wife was not at all happy with the lack of courtesy.
I informed Lidl via their website but almost a week later have not received a response. There are other stores happy to do business, so will be shopping elsewhere.

Overall I am happy with Lidle but both…

Overall I am happy with Lidle but both they and Aldi do con the public. A few years ago various twin packs of items were often more per kilo that single packs of the same product (bacon was a case in point. Their latest scam which has been operating for about six months. Both are the only supermarkets to sell bananas by number instead of weight. For six months all bananas have been about two thirds of the original size. When I queried this with a manager three months ago his reply was ‘the size fluctuates and we are going over to by weight’. Both untrue.

One trick Pony. Not good for repeat buying of products

Basically forget doing weekly shopping at Lidle. I brought stuff from thier for my cats and when I went there to buy again I was told it was sold out and discontinued. Its happened a few times with other stuff. So it's best to shop elsewhere that can meet regular demands and not just one off sales. My thinking is if you Can't keep supplying a particularly product. Don't sell it.

Lidl new carparking system at some stores

Lidl food is great and top quality for me, but my main complaint is the new parking system they have at some of there stores. My daughter and her boy friend went shopping they met up with two cars to buy two weeks shop. They were ten minutes over the parking time of 1hr.30m and were fined a total of £180 (£90 each car). Lidl has now lost two customers worth £6,000 per year to them. So beware when you shop at Lidl. The car park is managed by a private company and Lidl are not interested.

Some things like meat

Some things like meat, dairy and others really good with cheap prices but have to be careful some items are awful quality. Checkouts useless and dont like the way they try to copy branded item designs and colours to fool you.
