Great technician
I had a service call from one of their technicians CHRIS B. Who went over and above solving the issues with the tankless water heater- you could tell that he stayed at it till he figured it out- thank you!

I had a service call from one of their technicians CHRIS B. Who went over and above solving the issues with the tankless water heater- you could tell that he stayed at it till he figured it out- thank you!
I had a water heater installed by LG Home Comfort last year. During installation I specifically asked them to replace anything that needed replacing; my basement was being finished and I didn't want future problems. Instead of replacing the existing expansion tank mounted above the heater, they left it in place. That expansion tank has since developed a hole and leaked water down into the water heater, which caused the unit to shut down and stop working. The gas line is also now corroded.
When I called for service, they took my credit card over the phone (their only payment method) and placed a $146.88 hold, telling me it would be refunded if the failure was under warranty. The technician who came did no repair at all. He declared the expansion tank and gas line "not covered," said he'd spoken to his manager and was told to come back; and I was still charged the full $146.88 for a visit where nothing was fixed. On the phone I'd been told the technician would repair and bill accordingly if it wasn't covered; that didn't happen. To top it off, I was told the equipment they installed is now unsafe and would be reported to Enbridge.
In my experience, their own incomplete installation caused this damage, and they used it to avoid honoring the warranty while charging me for a visit with no work done. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company.
The only good thing dealing with LG was the salesman Zack. Great man. Install went bad as they did not install the 4" filter as promised. Then they botched up the return to relience and that cost me 2 weeks of rental fees. Now it's not even 3 months old and the AC does not work and the customer service wants my Credit card to put a hold on it in case it is not there issue. HOW IS IT NOT YOUR ISSUE. it's 3 months old and you installed it
I had a call for the LG Home Comfort maintenance team and I got a great response from Abdul Shaikh and I was satisfied with his response
It is strange how LG has a 4.6 star rating on Google yet half that on other review sites.
A simple Furnace/AC install took 3 visits and 28 hours of my time as they bumbled through it.
They came across more like a collection agency and even looked to be paid before the installation complete (contradictory to the contract).
The sales experience was polished, the execution afterwards was severely lacking and incompetent is not too strong a word. 3 days for a straightforward 4-6 hr job. All delays/problems/mistakes were self inflicted by themselves. And they seem to require 4 hour window of arrival …even for a full day install. Even for when they leave you without functioning equipment after day one!
Communication was sparse and difficult as there was no single point of communication. Installers often had limited and wrong information. I struggled to get hold of one responsible person.
After day one I did not have a working FCE/AC; not to mention furnace venting was sloped downwards (wrong) and AC drainage tubing turned upward vs downwards (wrong). Fce will trip if moisture condensed/collects in either as vacuum sensor will sense blockage.
Sales - wrong items ordered. Promised items not included. Claimed amnesia. Fortunately retained his hand written notes but unfortunately didn’t get everything.
Installers - Given wrong equipment and missing equipment 1st day. Installers not experienced. Missing know how, tools, not to mention a vacuum/broom. Every visit required me to clean up.
Tech to trouble shoot on 2nd day didn’t feel it important to arrive at prescribed time and wasted my whole day.
Of course, his mission was to get Fce/AC running while yet another visit required to install missing coil box & upgraded coil as per the contract.
On final day, a delayed start as warehouse gave installers wrong equipment again. To their credit installers tried to correct the error. But later had to wait roadside for swap while correct equipment arrived…while I waiting with no information yet again.
Admin - And of course Admin always trying to collect in advance; even lying to try and collect early. And at one point stating they needed payment before proper coil box/coil crew would be sent. Contract stated differently. From start to finish, this group really seems to have a struggle with the truth. Fly by night comes to mind.
So that my friends was my 1 star experience. Go with someone local (ie lives in town). The less anonymity the better. Despite sounding local during sales pitch, they are not. Installers lived over an hour away. Good luck.
I installed a heat pump at my cottage in cameron ontario. it has never worked from day one. Because it is at my cottage i am not here all the time.I called their vaughn office and the girl that answered did not have a clue what she was doing. She said if i need a service call they will charge $129.00 for the service call. ITS A NEW UNIT WITH A FIVE YEAR WARRANTY. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?She also want me to call ECOBBE to figure out the thermostat, which they installed
In order for me to get my rebate, they need for me to send them a picture of the unit and a picture of the serial number!!!! these guys are scams.SO ARE THEY SAYING THEY DON'T KEEP RECORDS OF THE EQUIPTMENT THEY INSTALL? IF THATS THE CASE HOW CAN YOU GUARANTEE YOUR WARRANTY? is it possible they want to take the rebate fir themselves?
Please do not do any business with these people
I purchased a hot water tank from LG Home Comfort, and initially my experience was positive because the salesperson, Arun Verma, was very helpful and professional during the sales process.
Unfortunately, everything changed after installation. The technician removed the mixing valve from my old system and did not reinstall one on the new tank. The very next day, the hot water tank started giving us problems. We contacted the company, and a technician came back and fixed the issue temporarily, but the problems returned shortly afterward.
From that point on, dealing with customer service became extremely frustrating. Every time we called for assistance, we were told there would be a service charge of $129 plus tax. I repeatedly requested that the original mixing valve be reinstalled, but the technician said he needed approval from his manager. I was told the manager would contact me, but after waiting two weeks and making numerous follow-up calls to both customer service and the salesperson, nothing was resolved.
The situation became much more serious when one of my tenants was burned by excessively hot water. Since LG Home Comfort was not addressing the issue, I hired a private plumber who reinstalled the mixing valve and corrected the problem. This cost me an additional $350 out of pocket.
After informing the company, I received a call from a supervisor named Justin. I explained that I no longer wanted any service from LG Home Comfort because of the poor experience. Later, I received a call from someone named Ramen, who identified himself as a manager and said he would investigate the matter. He called back once, but when I asked him to call me again in five minutes because I was busy, he never followed up. It has now been several days, and nobody has contacted me.
This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The lack of communication, failure to resolve a safety issue, and poor follow-up have been extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise others to carefully consider their options before purchasing products or services from LG Home Comfort.
Schedule an appointment for a New Tankless water heater. The Sales agent (Sohail) changes the times and blames me for incorrectly scheduling. When explaining that I was looking to make a decision in 2-3 months, her response was that I should have booked the appointment when I am ready to commit. For the sales agent, condescending and arrogant. I understand the need to make the sale pushy, but being condescending to the point that I am wasting his time was above and beyond.
I bought a heat pump last fall and my electric bill increased significantly, way beyond the savings of my gas bill over a study of 4 months. Called LG Home for explanation 4 times over 2 weeks - perhaps my unit is defective, my settings are wrong? No call back. Very dissatisfied. :(
I recently had a new furnace installed by LH Home Comfort and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Zaman and Sani were absolute professionals from start to finish. They arrived on time, took great care to keep my home clean, and clearly took pride in their work
The installation was seamless and they took the extra time to explain the new system to me and ensure everything was running perfectly before they left. It’s rare to find such dedicated technicians. If you’re looking for reliable service and expert installation, I highly recommend asking for Zaman and Sani at LG Home Comfort - in Vaughn, Ontario
Went ahead and purchased a tankless water heater at a cost of almost $6000 only to find out that the "instant hot water" is a huge lie. My washing machine and dishwasher are now boat anchors as I cannot get any hot water into either appliance before the cycle starts even though I have the washing machine set to hot it is ice cold. I wish I would have been told up front that this system does not work with high efficiency washers which use very little water, my wife is extremely angry and even is considering bringing in a lawyer as its just been a disaster from day one. I sent an email and got no response, I called and again the person on the other end had no clue, just kept repeating for me to change my settings???? Very Angry right now.
I had the 2nd cleaning done on my furnace and heat pump today. It was missing a drain tube from the original install for the furnace. The installers
didn't check. The guy who cleaned it last year, didn't notice. Maybe lack of experience or care, I guess.
The guy today, found it and fixed it. Made my day. Thankyou Rudolph Sudesh.
Gtrat product!
Always it's wonderful!
At my house LG is everything
Made arrangemets for a representative to attend to provide information and an estimate for hot water heater. They did not show up and there was no notification as to why. Previously I had read a number of reviews in which customers were very critical of LG and its dependability. Now I know why !
They make a ton of promises and don’t follow through. The entire process was extremely stressful not to mention the sales rep that we dealt with I had to continuously reach out to him because he would not follow up. I honestly would not recommend. I also waited around the first time I booked a consultation and the sales rep did a no-show. Had to call them again to book another no one followed up about why the sales rep never came.
LG home Comfort seems to have a flock of incompetent people working both internally and externally. I have been billed for work that has not been done to completion, I’ve been trying to get invoices/receipts and I’ve had to call five times with no results. This company will make you feel like you are important and then do nothing but take your money and leave you stranded.
I am writing this because I am fed up and frustrated and can no longer deal with their incompetence. I am just trying to get things resolved, but it seems they can’t even send paperwork.
I purchased a top- of-the-line Lennox furnace and a heat pump through LG Home Comfort. The installation was a disaster, it took multiple visits where I had to take nearly full days waiting for technicians to arrive and multiple hours for them to try to get the equipment working. Two appointments were missed entirely with technicians not showing up, and for two other appointments the technician missed the agreed time and only called late in the day to say they were behind schedule. It took a month to get the AC function working even a little bit. Besides the indifferent attitude to fulfilling appointments, none of the technicians knew the equipment as the furnace and heat pump were new Lennox models. First they failed to wire the units correctly and after trying to convince me that 10-12 hours to cool the house by 1.5 to 2 degrees was ‘normal’ they finally conceded they had screwed the wiring and fixed that problem. Then they did not charge the compressor correctly and had to return to spend most of another day fixing that. Then two more visits were required to reset the parameters for the AC which they had done improperly. The unit still struggles to cool the house, so they committed to return with Lennox technicians to diagnose the equipment failures but have never done that. In short, a huge mistake going with this company and I am still trying to have the equipment fixed after four months. Terrible service, very poor customer support and an absolute rip off of a company.
Traumatic experience from start to finish. High pressure sales, unpleasant office staff, no one to take responsibility for mishaps, inexperienced installers caused a potentially deadly propane leak that required a visit from the fire department. $25 k job left incomplete. Old furnace removed midwinter before new furnace was available. I was left without great for almost a week. Had to use electric heaters to keep pipes from freezing. Undersized electrical cable used that had to be switched out. Undersized propane lines that had to be replaced. Two months of torture, phone calls, begging to no avail. Finally got name of a reputable local furnace installer from the furnace manufacturer and had to pay them to come in and set up the furnace and the thermostat.
Unbelievable negligence and out and out lies. LG promised a 10 year parts and labour warranty but wouldn’t come out to try and fix the furnace without me handing out more $$. It was actually cheaper to get a different company out.
I tried to withhold payment until the furnace installation was completed properly but they threatened me with a law suit. I agreed to pay in exchange for a written promise to repair my furnace. I paid, they reneged on their promise. My only recourse now is to sue them in small claims court.
Stay away from them, far far away. Very bad news.
