Doesn’t pay employees after works completed on time and still owes 3 days worth of pay and is refusing saying there was ‘repairs needed on my work’ when I was working along side his brother and if there was anything I done wrong, he would have asked me to put it right, so that’s a lie and just using it as an excuse to not pay me.

Whilst working for them, one of their employees laid floor tiles and a kitchen got fit on top of them, the customer wasn’t happy with the tiles and Mark made the customer cry due to stress and said he wouldn’t take the kitchen back out unless she paid for it to be done again, so they replaced a few tiles but it still wasn’t right and the customer just had to put up with the tiles in the end because he said he wasn’t going to finish the rest of the kitchen otherwise.

Absolutely delighted with the kitchen renovation work by Lexon. Their attention to detail was fantastic - especially Neil, who rerouted an ugly external pipe during the plumbing work, which has made such a difference to how the house looks.

Their aftercare service has been excellent too. We had a small issue with the power socket for the Quooker Tap but they responded straight away and fixed it the next morning!

The communication was outstanding throughout. Mark was always readily available, and the entire team, especially Neil, took time to explain each step of the process, constantly asking for our preferences rather than making assumptions. When we faced some supplier delays, Lexon showed remarkable flexibility, adapting their schedule to ensure our project stayed on track - something I know isn't always the case with other fitters.

The team was professional and courteous throughout. Each evening they tidied and hoovered, and they thoughtfully laid dust sheets behind closed doors to protect the rest of the house. Their friendly, respectful and professional manner made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free.

Great team, great value, and a job well done

We recently had a full bathroom, shower room, and downstairs loo done by Lexon and I’m genuinely glad we chose them. I’d spoken to five different companies and Lexon just felt right—professional, recommended by a quality bathroom store, and with credentials that checked out. The quote from Mark was incredibly detailed—every item priced clearly—and that gave us a lot of trust from the start.

They weren’t the cheapest, but they were absolutely great value for money. The work was thorough and carefully done. Neil, the lead plumber, was superb—always on time and took real pride in his work. And Alfie, who’s learning the trade, brought great energy (once he was fully awake!) and clearly cared about doing a good job. Lovely team dynamic too.

There were a few minor delays and the odd follow-up needed—but nothing major, and they always sorted things without fuss. Nine months on, everything works beautifully. Would definitely recommend Mark and the team—honest, hardworking, and genuinely nice people.

Mark and his team have now carried out two contracts for me. I just told him what I wanted and it was done. Totally professional, very friendly and also tidy. This is the builder that you want.

Mark was a life saver! I was heavily pregnant and had just moved into my first home and I urgently needed help to get my new appliances to fit (especially a washing machine - parents know how laundry can pile up quickly!) An outside door and a baulestrade installed. From the get-go, Mark was friendly, professional, helpful and so accommodating. He explained aspects to me which I was clueless on. He doesn't just do kitchens, he is versatile and so we also got him to help with other urgent jobs around the house. Given my predicament and the urgency, he managed to squeeze our job in around other jobs. Him and his team were a pleasure to have around. The job was completed timeously and to a high standard. Nothing was too big an ask. I will most definitely be calling him in future for any other work we need done around the house. Thank you so much to Mark and his team!

We had a small kitchen fitted and Mark and team did a great job. They solved all the issues that arose and kept costs down. The team tackled all the trades (electrics, plumbing, flooring, plastering etc) themselves and did the work to a high standard. Would definitely recommend.

Mark and the team were excellent during our kitchen installation. Adapting to all the issues we had with the kitchen supplier and doing some additional work around the house, Mark and team were friendly, helpful and top quality throughout the entire project. Highly recommend Mark and the team and would have no hesitation using them again in the future.

Where do I start! Mark and the team came to fit a kitchen and do some other general works in Feb 2024. The problems we found kept snowballing and Mark and his team solved them all. We ended up using them to completely renovate our entire property. In a project that lasts 7 months, there are always ups and downs but we are all very happy with the end result. I needed new worktops, sink and gas hobs installed, and having been let down by a previous tradesman, Mark came to save day! Super happy with their services, both Owen and Jack are clearly very skilled tradesmen and very kind & lovely men. Could not be more grateful for Mark to also work out logistics to make sure the work was completed in a certain timeframe too. All in a very trustworthy set of tradesmen, cannot recommend them more - I for one will definitely be using them again for other work!

From beginning to end Neil’s workmanship was exemplary, Owen was very good and always willing, Jamie was a good help too. All three of them were always very well mannered and left my house really clean and tidy at the end of the day and their time keeping was spot on. The overall finish of my kitchen is outstanding and I absolutely love it.

But - they have now replaced their original painter and decorator due to poor workmanship and timekeeping thank goodness.

I was very impressed and pleased with the professional service from Lexon – I had a kitchen removed and Lexon ( fitters Neil and Jack), installed my new Wren kitchen. The install went to plan, the service standard was very high, I had multiple questions and queries answered during the install which were all dealt with 100% and the professional fitters worked extremely hard to get the job completed on schedule and to plan - I later had some more work to help with Tiling in the Kitchen and Bathroom In October 2013 - services were delivered to a very high standard (also really appreciated the advice and help throughout). Lexon go the extra mile ( I recommend this company to family and friends).

We have used Lexon Building on a number of jobs and have been extremely pleased with their services. Mark & his team strive for perfection and no job is too small for them. I would highly recommend Lexon and will be using them on future jobs.
