Lexia is the worst Edtech app and website I've ever used in my entire life. Let me explain. First of all it reads slow, never updates progress, and is super buggy. Never use it a day in your life.... See more

the site leaves a lot to be improved. the menu is outdated, the voices are robotic, and if you do 1 mistake it forces you to "relearn" the phrase involved, which sometimes takes more than 10 minutes!... See more
Lexia is OK but I still would rather do recess instead so I think that we should just do recess so yeah. Lexi is better than I ready.

LEXIA NEEDS TO IMPROVE ITSELF
this app makes me lose every single bit of calmness i have inside of me!!! I DONT WANT TO HEAR THAT AI VOICE TALK TO ME FOR 50 MINUTES STRAIGHT!! THIS APP ALSO NEEDS TO FIX THEIR “educational” VIDEOS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP US!! ALL IT DOES IS REPEAT IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN WITH NOT A SINGLE GOOD EXPLANATION!!! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO LEARN PROPERLY IF ALL THIS APP DOES IS SHOVE VIDEOS IN OUR FACE!! I SWEAR THIS APP IS JUST AN EXCUSE FOR TEACHERS NOT WANTING TO TEACH

NO MORE LEXIA!
This app made me want to JUMP OFF A CLIFF. This app is so annoying and my school makes me do it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Everytime I get JUST 2 questions wrong, it makes me do another practice activity that is COMPLETELY USELESS. This app should be BANNED so that children don't suffer any longer. On top of that, my teacher even prints MORE lexia PAPERWORK for us to do and it is OBNOXIOUS. Us students can't deal with this MONSTROSITY anymore. I plee that this app gets TAKEN DOWN IMMEDIATELY!

THIS APP IS STUPID
this app is annoying, infuriating and many other things. Me and my fellow class mates agree it could be considered a form of punishment capable of driving us insane. the teachers love it because they don't do it and our literacy improves from other things while this app exists near us. this has given me trust and anger issues the voice is very annoying and it is very easy to mess up or miss click and have to listen to the voice talk for 15 minutes about the way to do it yet you just miss clicked and it is very infuriating. if this was a torture method some where in the world I would believe it.
Edit: so I have recently been switched to power up and it's much more enjoyable, but it makes the teachers lazy and not want to teach their students so we keep getting questions about something that we haven't learned that's in our curriculum, that we should have learned in class but we didn't because the teachers think lexia teaches us. My original statement still stands though.

Don't Go On Lexia
I was on Lexia, and I lost my 400 ANSWER STREAK. Why did I even bother to go on that platform? Then when I got ONE QUESTION WRONG the stupid lady goes like "The independent clause, blah blah blah." The AI voices wont stop yapping

This app sucks
This app sucks.. not only does it gives you lessons that don't really help you with anything but it also gives you practice lessons when you get two wrong and the practice lessons don't even help you, like how am i suppose to learn what seismometers are and i get a practice lessons about the pictures of grams and graphs like its actually terrible for learning and teaching.

Lexia PowerUp sucks
I'm a kid and it sucks because it gives you dumb questions that aren't really related to the text you just read plus it takes away your streak and that just makes me mad it also makes you do a flipping practice activity if you get TWO wrong answers in the same unit.

Important stuff
Lexia is bad, I want to bury my computer every time it is assigned. All my classmates say the same thing. one quote from a classmate is "lexia doesn't help with anything only give me trust issues and depressed".

i absolutely HATE lexia
i absolutely HATE lexia, I absolutely DESPISE IT. it is the worst existing website/app i have EVER used. it is the VERY BOTTOM OF THINGS MANKIND HAS MADE. for example where it wants to see what part of a word makes your mouth open larger, AND THAT MAKES NO SENSE. it completely ignores if you have an accent or not. it also gives you a streak that makes no sense and pisses me off SO MUCH.

If you have to do this program, GOODBYE SANITY
This program sucks. If you get a single question wrong, you get put in the damn Gulag. I hope nobody has to go through this hell hole of a program.

i'm officially going to crash out becuz of this app
App made me want to commit arson upon my computer. Useless lessons that have no usefulness in any way whatsoever, and if you get a single question incorrect, you have to sit through about... 7391647 eternities of yapping and do a useless lesson that has nothing to do with the question you just got incorrect. Arson time.

Just, Don't
There are many reasons why Lexia sucks but the most important ones I would say is that it yaps way too much. I am in a gifted class where we have to do 45 minutes of Lexia and let me tell you it is soooo boring. It spends way to much time yapping about the easiest things and if you make a mistake once, it assumes your stupid and puts you in an easier mode that re-yaps everything. And if you leave the tab, then you have to hear the yapping all over again. So please, for your sanity, Just. Don't. Use. Lexia. ~ 12/06/24 I am now in middle school and the fact that I don't have to do lexia makes me want to jump for joy and cry of happiness as I don't have to use this stupid app EVER AGAIN in my damn life and if I have to do it again I might have a mental breakdown. ~ 10/25/25

There should be a zero star option
There should be a zero star option, because this app is the absolute worst. I am part of a gifted and talented class. Up until a new rule was passed, we did not have to suffer Lexia. Now we have to spend extra time doing it while all the stupid kids get to go about their day. I speak on the behalf of my classmates and I, quite frankly, Lexia is a form of torture. It reads to you at snail's pace. I clocked it, and it took four minutes just to read six sentences. It put us all at the wrong level. One of my friends, who is already reading books you probably couldn't read, was put at a fifth grade reading level. Also, the stories have multiple grammatical errors. They do not use the semicolon properly, and several words are misspelled. The only thing I like about Lexia is reading all of these terrible, and highly truthful, reviews.
