We are an American family with two kids near age ten on the 10-day classic tour route from Tehran to Shiraz. Vahid is an amazing guide with an encyclopedic knowledge of Iran, both historical and contemporary. He and the driver (who was also excellent) were very flexible when we needed the schedule adjusted for the children. Every place he took us for lunch had a consistent chicken kebab and rice option that kept the kids fed and normal. The kids gave the trip a thumbs up, especially with the help of a lemonade a day and an soft-serve ice cream every evening as a reward.

I also want to mention that Vahid has many personal connections with locals all along the route, which helped from time to time when our schedule didn't align with opening hours, etc. He was also able to help us get the visa approval from the Iran MFA needed for American passport holders.

I had only 2 days In shiraz but was able to see & learn about the great Iranian history. Not only that but I got to taste authentic Iranian cuisine & shop at the traditional markets. A big thanks to Mr.Wahid who was very knowledgable, patient & supportive during my full tour.

Vahid was an amazing guide! We were a group of 3 solo travelers, but Vahid not only guided us on our day in Persepolis, but also helped us find plane tickets in Iran and put us in touch with other guides in other cities, who made our trip so marvelous!
He was professional, knowledgeable, fun and spoke English with an accent we could easily understand!
