This was a ton of fun! I was disappointed that we didn't know we should bring props and that because locations were closed we couldn't finish the last two challenges. Therefore the other four did not... See more

Fun way to sightseeing a new town
Awesome find while on summer vacation to keep my inquisitive teenagers busy! We had 1 more ticket and decided to use it with friends in our hometown.

Let's Roam looked promising, but...
Let's Roam looked promising, but didn't offer enough where I live. Months after cancelling my free trial membership, somehow it "accidentally" got restarted by them for over a year (granted, I should have caught on to this sooner; however, it's sent to an email address I don't use often). After lots of back and forth, the company could only offer up to six months' worth of a refund, even though it was their fault that they had restarted my inactive account months after they confirmed it was cancelled. Now, over a month after they said they would authorise the 50% refund, I am still waiting. The lack of communication and follow-through is shocking. Not to mention, the lack of a sufficient refund due to their own negligence. Very unhappy with my overall experience with this company.
I have contacted the company through the support email numerous times. The latest reply is that the billing company is still reviewing this for some reason.

Disappointing Experience
I was so excited to do the scavenger hunt (in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland) for my birthday as it sounded so fun, but unfortunately it was such a let down. :( First of all, the app kept repeatedly crashing so it was almost impossible to use (a problem that others have reported as well). Second, I think the description is misleading. I thought there would be more history and information on the sites for us to read and learn about, but it just gave a very vague description of the site and then one quiz question where you just have to guess. I also thought we'd have specific missions to complete or things to find, but it's mostly just silly photo prompts, which are fun but get old when that's mostly it. Also, it's important to note that these scavenger hunts may have sites that you need to pay for, and this hunt ticket does not cover those costs, which we didn't know. Lastly, the ticket times out! We had no idea that there was a time limit, so we were taking our time, and after just two sites it told us we were out of time! It wouldn't even let us go back in to see the challenges we completed or what was left! Overall, it was super disappointing and a waste of money. Such a good concept but needs a lot of work on the app and more transparency/clarity on what people can expect.

The app did not work on my phone
The app did not work on my phone. It kept circling back to choose your package. I tried every option possible and still nothing. I kindly, asked for a refund as I no longer wanted to do it not had time to do. They did not grant my refund and here it is.. -$40 for nothing. I guess $40 (one-time) rather than an on-going/repeat customer or the spread of good word about this app. Rest assured, I am not going to be speaking highly of it and will definitely recommend NOT to get this trash app.

Would give zero stars if I could
Would give zero stars if I could. Shocking customer service and app experience. Purchased a single ticket and then tried to purchase an add on ticket for a friend. Site kept freezing and I received no confirmation of any further purchases. Checked my email multiple times. Then I got a message from my bank wanting to block my card due to numerous suspicious purchases. I checked my account and multiple purchases for different amounts had gone through (ie not even multiples of the same ticket). I tried to resolve immediately through the chat but it was so slow and by the time I got anywhere it was too late to do the challenge. We were on holiday so couldn't do it on another day. I then emailed customer service for a refund and got given the run around. There is no loss to the company as I've not used the tickets and there was clearly an issue with the site which I flagged immediately. I'm now considering legal action. Really says a lot about a company when they have the chance to do the right thing and dont.

Complete waste of money
Not at all what we had expected - hardly clues, just guesses at a multiple choice answer as the points where the clues were had no information attached. Kept having to take photos which were completely pointless. Also the app kept crashing so when it did we gave up. Total waste of money - DO NOT BOTHER.
Have chased a refund and had no luck.

Belle Meade Historic Site and Winery
We found a scavenger hunt through Eventbrite that looked to be a lot of fun, and purchased the tickets with Let's Roam. The event was Belle Meade in Nashville TN. The trip started off a little rough, as the starting point address was actually someone's house, who didn't appreciate having people on his property. Once we found the actual start point, we started the app led hunt, only yo be approached by employees of the property. We were informed that the property is open to the public, but only if tickets are purchased at the visitors center. We explained that tickets were already purchased, and showed them to the staff, who then informed us that they do not honor or recognize tickets from outside vendors. So we ended up buying 2 additional tickets just to do the hunt. Upon reaching out to Let's Roam, the first email response was very professional, and offered us either another set of free tickets to another hunt, or a refund. When I chose refund, the next response was telling me that a refund couldn't be issued because we used Groupon, which is completely false. I had already clarified that we had gone through Eventbrite. I've seen a lot of positive reviews for Let's Roam, and had no reservations about doing one of their sponsored hunts, but at this point, it seems like they are just giving me the runaround. They keep saying it's an app lead adventure, which is true, but don't appear as if they want to acknowledge that they sponsored a hunt on property not 100% open to the public. Very disappointed with our first experience, and not sure if we will ever do another event sponsored by them.
Finally got a response from the company, and there has been multiple emails back and forth about this, explaining the entire situation. The reps continued to make excuses, offered a month ago to refund the purchase, then stopped communicating. I've accepted the fact that I paid twice, and the latest response just confirms that I won't participate in another event by this company.

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Awful experience from start to finish. Real trouble logging on. Asked agent for help by online chat and it took ages for someone to pick it up. Eventually I was able to log on but then when I went to the start the first clue was simply not there. Then it forced me to keep taking photos which I did not have any interest in - they were stupid challenges to my mind - and would not accept them and let me move on. Asking for my money back but having a hassle.

Film location scavenger hunt
Liked walking the strip and having actual activities to do. Got to take some great pictures and learn what films used different hotel locations.

This app is not user friendly
This app is not user friendly. Very hard to figure out how to get it working. Then as soon as you get it working it crashes. This is no real person you can talk to, just a chat. I tried to use the chat and it wouldnt connect. It was so frustrating. Who ever made this app should not be in the business. This would have been so much fun if it actually worked. Let's Roam has a lot of videos on YouTube to sell this, but know that show you how to use it. They need to make a video that shows you exactly how to use it. Step by step. Also, they need a real phone number for customer support. I don't want to have to type out my frustrations and wait for a responce. I want to explain the problem to a real person andhave them explain how to correct the issue. Don't waste your time on this. You will ruin your day
No code or confirmation email
Paid for a scavenger hunt - didn’t receive a confirmation email with a code - and yes I’ve checked and double checked it was correct and checked junk - very disappointing
Waste of time and money
After a LOT of difficulty getting set up on the app which kept of freezing or crashing (if bought the voucher by this time or I'd have given up by now), we started the Siena trail, which was completely missold as "informative" and "not needing to go inside", apart from other grand claims. Stop 1. Take a.photo - I'm not being informed about anything. Who designed the thing INSIDE the cathedral - I thought I didn't have to pay to enter anywhere.
Exited the "hunt" at that point. What a waste of time and money. I literally could walk around Siena with my eyes closed and feel more informed. And now I have to wait for their customer service to open to request a refund for this crap product.
Total Scam
Awful experience with the website and customer service. The website makes it nearly impossible not to purchase additional tickets, which happened with me. Customer Service so far has refused to give a refund after I clearly explained that the additional tickets were accidentally purchased and that I won't use them within the next two years.
Regarding the tickets used in Boston North End, the route was inefficient and had us walking in a zig zag/opposite direction for each destination. Don't recommend if you have a toddler with you either like we did.
The concept is great, but this company needs to fix its website, customer service, and the Boston North End hunt.
Waste of money
Purchased the scavenger hunt for Houston tourist attractions in Herman Park. Couldn't get the voucher to download called customer service to help and had to go through so many steps for her to finally get it to work. Then we started our hunt and the app completely stopped working at the first location. Never could get it to start back up. A total waste of money. Reading some other reviews I see we are not the only ones that went through this. Save your money try another company.
