Super easy and fuss-free move
Super easy and fuss-free move with Legend Removals from Netherlands to the UK.
I was assisted by Ilya through the process of the quotation, he answered all of my questions promptly and provided a very competitive quote relative to many other removal companies I have contacted.
The move itself was super fuss-free, they picked up and delivered the boxes exactly during their time window and were very efficient. We also had some requests with regards to the delivery date and they were very accommodating to them. I would highly recommend these movers!

Good but too expensive compared with premium moving companies
I used Legend removals for a recent move to Geneva. They were recommended to me by a friend. I did extensive research on different firms as there are many unsavoury options out there. From a service perspective, they were quick to reply via whatsapp or email but are not based in the UK (this wasn't an issue for me). The packers were courteous but didn't use premium materials and artworks were wrapped directly in cardboard rather than bubblewrap as an example. The movers were on time and unpacked goods in the right rooms afterwards. The quoting process was fraught with poor salesmanship and they didn't attend the property to see how much volume there was to move, they just went off other quotes I had received. The biggest issues I had was that they said we only needed two luton vans vs a large truck (this is what the other premium firms said we needed). In the end we needed the large truck and they had to procure a third luton van at large additional expense at the last min once they realised they needed it. This was less than ideal and ended up increasing the amount we paid well above premium options that used larger trucks (that could have taken everything). We also had issues with expensive goods arriving broken, but as they were mechanically broken and didn't have evidence of being dropped their insurance didn't pay out. They also promised to be able to transport wine that they couldn't do in the end. Overall, they delivered most of my goods and had decent staff but there pricing is way in excess of what more premium and better rated firms like GB Liners or TCA charge.

Regarding the quoting process — while we often work from virtual surveys and volume assessments, as was done in this case, we understand how an on-site visit might have added clarity and reassurance. We take your comments onboard as we continue to refine our pre-move assessment practices.
Concerning the additional vehicle — you're right that the need for a third van was not ideal. The logistics were affected by access and weight restrictions, which unfortunately limited the use of a large truck in this particular case. That said, our team did work to minimise the impact by negotiating and reducing the added cost as much as possible.
As for the wine collection, our understanding was that it was stored in a standard facility and not in a customs-bonded warehouse. This unexpected change indeed created complications, and we're sorry this couldn't be resolved more smoothly.
We also understand your concerns about the packing materials used, especially for artwork. While our packers follow professional procedures, we recognise that different clients have different expectations and preferences. We'll certainly revisit our internal guidelines to ensure alignment with premium standards, especially for high-value items.
With regard to the insurance, we regret that the damage to your items wasn't covered. As you know, insurance claims are assessed by third-party providers based on specific criteria, and unfortunately, mechanical failure without external damage is often excluded. That said, we are always available to support clients through the claims process to the best of our ability.
Overall, your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’re sorry that your experience didn’t fully reflect the high standards we aim to deliver. We’re always learning, growing, and adapting — and your insights play a big part in helping us do just that.

Upset to have to leave this review as Nelio was originally so helpful with my quote. He beat another companies quote on a 7.5 tonne van from Wales to France. So despite poor reviews I used Legend removals. What an absolute sham. A driver turned up in a Luton van on the day of our move and was an hour late arriving. My husband immediately said the van was too small and not what we ordered. The driver then tried to make a deal with us to get another van to load our furniture into aswell. He said don't tell Nelio but went outside and it was obvious they were on the phone to each other discussing it together trying to charge me for 2nd van. I called him out on this and he laughed. I rang Nelio who organised another van saying it would arrive 4pm
It arrived 8pm and we were loading well into the night. It has been an awful experience. Nelio gave us 2 weeks extra storage and to my surprise our furniture was actually being stored on London not France our destination. He is still wrangling over the 2nd van charge and trying to charge me for his mistake. After our experience I feel these are a load of shisters and I would avoid at all costs. I've got to go to Trading Standards to sort it and get my stuff delivered. Do not use them. One stand out alarm bells was when Nelio suggested I pay the fee into his girlfriends account as he was having trouble with PayPal payments. I obviously said no! Now the Directors in touch saying on line here he has no knowledge but he contacted me this morning saying he has sacked Nelio on 24th January and has no knowledge of where my furniture has gone! A police matter now as I'm taking this further. The Director also says he hadn't had the money we paid his team member. I'm going to fraud team of police.
Our data should have been protected by GDPR and should be covered by that. This is a breach of that aswell.

Moving from the UK to Switzerland is already stressful enough, but these guys actually made it... well. 😂 The team was super professional (but not in that cold, robotic way), really quick, and actually seemed to care about my stuff.
Packing, transport, the whole thing—it all went way smoother than I expected. They kept me updated, so I wasn't sitting there panicking, wondering where my things were. And yeah, everything arrived in one piece, right on time (which, let's be honest, is kinda rare these days).
Honestly, if you're moving and don't wanna lose your sanity, just go with these guys. 100% worth it!

We moved from The UK to Spain. We agreed a collection and a delivery date. They didn’t respect the delivery date at all. We had to go to an AirB&B as we had nothing. We had to email numerous people in the company and no one did anything. When the things arrived, screws were missing, pieces were missing, things were scratched, dented, bent, a disaster. They gave us such a bad service.
