WARNING: Legami Erasable Pens - Defective Product, Appalling Customer Service & CEO Neglect

Legami’s Erasable Pens fail spectacularly to meet their advertised claims, and their customer service is shockingly dismissive and disrespectful. Even when escalating concerns to the company’s CEO and founder, Alberto Fassi, no response was ever received further proving that Legami does not uphold its supposed core values.

Defective Product – Misleading Advertising.
Legami falsely claims that its erasable pens allow users to “rub out mistakes without wearing down the surface.” This is blatantly untrue. I provided indisputable photo and video evidence proving that the eraser rapidly deteriorates with normal use. Instead of addressing the defect, Legami continues selling faulty products, deceiving customers in the process.

Insulting & Incompetent Customer Service.
Legami’s customer service team ignored clear proof and responded dismissively: "We believe that the issue you're experiencing with the eraser may be due to the usage of the product rather than a defect."

They blame consumers rather than admitting their product is flawed. This response implies that customers don’t know how to use basic stationery an insulting and unacceptable excuse from a company unwilling to take responsibility.

They then pressured me into a phone call despite my preference for email, which would have only resulted in more denial and deflection rather than a genuine solution.

Unfair Refund Offer – Another Insult to Consumers.
After refusing to acknowledge the product defect, Legami’s only offer was a refund for 3 pens at €1.95 each (£1.64). This is significantly lower than the UK retail price, making this refund insufficient and unjust.

Legami is effectively short-changing its customers, offering compensation that doesn’t match the actual cost of their faulty product. A fair and ethical company would properly reimburse consumers instead of making half-hearted, inadequate offers.

CEO & Founder Ignores Consumer Complaints.
In an attempt to escalate this serious issue, I contacted Alberto Fassi, CEO and founder of Legami Milano. No response was ever received.
This blatant disregard from the company’s leadership further proves that Legami does not follow its own core values, and has no respect for its customers. A company that refuses to engage with legitimate concerns from consumers at the highest level is fundamentally broken.

Legami’s Hypocritical Values
Legami claims to uphold the following values, yet blatantly fails to do so:

1. Commitment to a Positive Impact on People & the Environment

• The defective eraser leads to excessive plastic waste as consumers are forced to replace pens unnecessarily.

• Ignoring legitimate consumer concerns and insulting customers is NOT a positive impact it’s pure negligence.

2. Focus on Quality & Innovation

• Where is the quality? The eraser rapidly deteriorates, making the pen useless.
• Where is the innovation? A truly innovative company would listen to consumer feedback instead of ignoring and rejecting legitimate proof of defects.

AVOID LEGAMI AT ALL COSTS
Legami knowingly sells defective products, dismisses legitimate consumer complaints, ignores direct communication with the CEO, refuses to fairly refund affected customers, and treats buyers with zero respect. Their refusal to acknowledge hard proof raises serious ethical concerns about their integrity.

If you value honest business practices, product quality, and respectful customer service.
DO NOT BUY LEGAMI PRODUCTS.

amazing products

I love all of their stationery products for example the extremely convenient rub out pen. I also love the highlighters as there is vibrant colours to pastels also the same with the brush markers, I also adore the pencil cases as they come with cute animal designs my personal favourite is the giraffe although there are many pros there are some cons .If you want to place an order on the website if you don't have a free delivery code you will have to either have spend an amount that exceeds 40 euro or have to pay a delivery free of 12 euro. As for the price may be a bit expensive for some products you're assured quality. overall it is a brilliant and creative company and has earned five stars off me.
