Legal scam.

I received a letter from these scam artists saying I could receive up to $40,000 if I filed a claim for smoke damage from a recent fire near my house. I took them up on their offer. It looks like they merely filed a claim with my insurance company and accepted whatever the insurance company offered, which was about $1086. The deductible was $500 and the "Legal Corner" people took their half of the total offer, leaving me $43. Pretty nice profit for the half hour of work they did filing the claim!

Buyer beware of legal offers like this one!
