I contacted Michael last summer as our landlord was suggesting he was going to try serve notice to evict us once the restrictions were lifted in September as he wanted to sell the property. We had been tenants for over 2 years and always paid our rent on time, even a couple of months before signed a new contract (with a rent increase). Obviously with corona virus we panicked, I contacted Michael with all the details of our old and new contracts to ask what rights we had. Michael came back to explain that they were trying to pull a fast one. We contacted our rental agents complete with the facts Michael had provided us and we never heard another word about it. Without Michael's advice we would have found the first place we could (properties for rent on our area were very sparse at the time), and been very unhappy.
We realised that probably the writing was on the wall and as soon as the landlord could, he would ask us to leave. It gave us time to find a perfect property and we ended up being able to serve him notice (now knowing exactly what our rights were).
I cannot recommend Michael and his team enough. He saved us from a lot of sleepless nights and an unhappy home.
