Pies worth travelling for!

Whilst visiting Penkridge I popped into Lee Adams for a sausage roll for lunch - these are supersized and properly meaty - and thought I'd take a pie back home to share for dinner.
Bought a Steak Pie for £4.90 and it had the BEST steak filling ever! I'm not saying the pastry would trouble a Michelin starred restaurant but I've never had such a juicy and tasty steak pie anywhere.
As the saying goes, all that wasn't steak was pie and all that wasn't pie was steak - if you are a Pie aficionado I urge you to make time to visit the shop!
As a proper butcher's you can obviously get pretty much any cut of meat, as you like it, a range of very tasty sausages, various burgers, scotch eggs and so much more.
If you are planning a visit make remember they sell out quite quickly on market days (Weds / Sat) - I visited on a Friday and all of the pies and sausage rolls had been baked fresh that morning - ideal for a family meal over the weekend - if the pie makes it home!
