Terrible customer experience
Terrible customer experience, i’m trying to Delete my account, they want to push my switch to another plan. Difficult to reach person and when you text them they pretend to not understod.
Extremely poor service and misleading information
Two months ago, I contacted Lebara Switzerland to cancel my plan because I will be abroad for a year. I was advised to switch to another plan, which I was told would be similar to my old plan (fixed monthly cost, unlimited 4G data).
Months later, I was charged CHF 39 for the plan change, and then informed that my new plan is actually a pay-per-use plan, much more expensive than what I was told, even with minimal data use.
Since then, I have spent hours stuck in chatbot loops, unable to reach a human representative. My SIM card no longer receives signal, so I cannot call customer service either. I am unable to cancel or fix the plan, and Lebara has provided no real support.
This has been extremely frustrating and stressful. I hope others can be aware of the difficulties when dealing with Lebara Switzerland.
Don’t waste your time
I recommended someone on the refer a friend and they signed up with lebara I have waited the 60 days and more and have been told I have earned the £20 but I have followed there instructions but it’s in possible to get it not worth trying
I bought a SIM card from Lebara…
I bought a SIM card from Lebara 25/10/25, cost £9.00 monthly for 12 months. SIM not received. Rang somewhere in India (NO PLACES TO RING IN UK), oh yes sorry send another SIM card. By 03/11/25 still not received rang India again, waited 4 minutes to speak to someone. Then put me on hold for 10 minutes, came back cut me off no ring back. Rang again still again waited long time. Another SIM card being sent.
Today 07/11/25 received SIM card does not work. Rang India long wait gave my details long wait cut off again.
Rang again. Spoke to Indian chap who once I started talking told me to shut or he would cut off call.
I managed to cancel plan said he would give me £9 back in 5-7 days. I pay in seconds they pay back in a week!!!!
MY SUGGESTION BOYCOTT LEBARA THEY ARE USELESS NO OFFICE IN UK CANNOT OFFER A GOOD SERVICE OR ANY SERVICE COME TO THAT!!

Hi. Lebara, with regard to my previous review, after being told this morning that my new card details were accepted, tonight my account with you was cancelled due to non payment, I was very upset and phoned and spoke to a very understanding and helpful advisor, he said the payment had failed and helped me over the phone to buy another product which is slightly more than my original one, my payment has gone through and I'm still with you. this has been very stressful as my original card was hacked and cancelled a short time before you needed to take your payment.
Thanks to the patience of your advisor tonight all is well and I've received confirmation emails from my card provider .and yourselves

Slowest 5G in the world... Good plans, but internet is beyond slow even on 5G. Also when porting out they made me stay with them 2 more months, even with an indefinite contract. So choose wisely!

Lebara is bullshit! I only ordered a card for 20 CHF a month, I’ve never signed anything and it was immediate and fee free cancellation.
I’ve never used number actually because it was suspicious then only came bill for 75 CHF, so 55 CHF more then expected as they listing free activation.
On top of that when I tried cancellation they only said to me that I have to pay until September this number, and it doesn’t matter what I think about it.
Avoid this company.

Scammers, never actually used their service, they made some invoices for 300 CHF+ and handed them to Intrum when I replied that what are you billing me for, I never actually used your service. Avoid at all costs.

I used Lebara services for half a year. Every invoice issued by Lebara was incorrect. Each one to my disadvantage: from several hundred to several dozen francs. They do not understand the content of the complaints, they do not read with understanding. They do not respond to complaints sensibly. The financial office should deal with this company because if they tried to cheat me, they probably cheated other people too. I do not recommend
Allert, Terrible Experience with Lebara Suisse – they scame you with Hidden Charges and bad Customer Service
I had the worst experience with Lebara Suisse. I subscribed to a plan for 10 francs per month, but they kept adding extreme hidden charges that I never agreed to. I suddenly received a bill for 100 francs, then another for 80 francs.
I contacted customer service multiple times, asking them to escalate my case to a supervisor, but no one ever got back to me. They assured me that my case was under review and promised I wouldn't be charged any reminder fees during this time — yet I still received an extra 30-franc reminder fee on top of the hidden charges I was already disputing. They are liers and scammers.
In the end, I had no choice but to pay and cancel the service. I deeply regret ever subscribing to them. Lebara Suisse is dishonest and untrustworthy — avoid them at all costs! I can't warn you enough.
Happy for many years
OK, their customer service is not reachable - but… The tariffs are really affordable! Where else can you get EU/EFTA+US+CA for 40-45 CHF p.m.? The Sunrise network in CH may not be perfect but neither is Swisscom. And thank god it’s not Salt/Orange.
Lebara and Yallo are the go to options I always recommend to newcomers to Switzerland instead of their big brands.
Crazy due payment fees
I had to pay triple for a late payment fee, despite them not sending a single payment reminder. Worst experience I had with a network provider

I am charged for services I did not use
Every time I go to a foreign country, I get charged for roaming data. But I am sure I did not use it. This has happened in the last couple of years. Also, I am trying to migrate my number to another company, and Lebara is not allowing.

Hopeless. Customer service non-existent. They send demands for money with a payment link to the Web and the amount shown there (in my case C. CHF 2) bears no resemblance to the amount claimed in the email (108)! They then had the cheek to charge 60 for "reminder" of an unsent bill.
