Still receiving new invoices 5 months after termination

5 months after terminating my contract, returning my vehicle, paying an extortionate amount to return it with 10 000 miles less on the clock than expected, paying another extortionate amount for imaginary damage, this company are STILL sending me invoices which they expect me to pay. I would give zero stars if this was an option.
DO NOT LEASE A CAR FROM THESE CHARLATANS

Excessive charges on vehicle return

This will have been the third lease car I have returned in the last 9 years and I found Leasys charges on return of the vehicle to be excessive in comparison to other companies. I would not recommend leasing a car through this company.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would.
This company are an absolute scam! Handed back my car after 3 years in great condition. They are trying to charge me for things which cannot be seen from photographs?! There was a slight crack in the floor mat which is what happens when you don't provide car mats in the car! We are being billed nearly £1,000 which is ridiculous considering the car has barely moved and only done 19k miles when I had been paying for 30k miles on return! Tried to come to an agreement and they are not budging on their ridiculous prices!
Also agree on the previous review of Manheim who are absolute con artists! One of the marks I removed with a cloth, guy told me he would take it off and didn't, Leasys still want the money for it when the mark is no longer there!
Never ever using either company again! Avoid at all costs!!
Leasy's there is no point getting a member of the team to contact me, I have been in full contact since the end of the contract and your team have failed to come to any mutual agreement. They have only waived charges that could not be seen in the photos which they had no choice but to do so because the "damage" is not there! The only resolution is to contact the governing body which people have zero joy with either! You know fine well that you have customers between a rock and a hard place and it's ridiculous the amount you charge customers despite returning a well looked after vehicle over 10k miles under contract!

Company car lease nightmare

Leased a company car through Leasys and it’s been a nightmare throughout.

Originally was told that the car was available in stock but then the delivery was delayed by a month due to an error with very little updates from Leasys.

Once the car arrived, the head gasket blew within 24 hours and we rejected the car and raised a complaint - Leasys advised that they need a MINIMUM of 4 weeks to investigate any complaint.

8 weeks later Leasys finally responded to the complaint and indicated that they will cancel the lease but this has still not been actioned.

It’s now been 3 months without the car and we have no idea how much longer Leasys will drag this out for. Multiple emails and calls to Leasys complaints department go without any resolution.

First time using Leasys and will definitely be the last.

Excessive charges

Poor customer service and excessive charging at the end of the lease.

Arranged for the collection of my vehicle at the end of a three year lease, was told on inspection that it would cost over £1,000 to return the car due to some minor scratches. As the amount was excessive we decided to keep the car and get it repaired before returning it. A £175 invoice then landed in my inbox for the cancelled collection. I queried this with them, and they have refused to escalate the query internally and have told me to take it up with an external regulator.

Very disappointing

I have just finished a 3-year contract with Leasys France. For the last installment, they have debited me double the amount I owed them.. I have of course pointed this out by phone and several emails. It’s been a month and I have received no reply to my many emails and most of al no refund yet. I’ll most probably have to proceed legally to get my money back. My experience with this company has been overall very disappointing.

Do not use Leasys or CA Autobank

Do not use Leasys or CA Autobank, appalling. After 8 months and having to raise a complaint with the FOS my car was finally rejected and I took to the dealer 4 months ago. I'm still getting emails and calls chasing me for the 4 payments, no one will call me back, no one knows why my lease is still live. Promised it wouldn't affect my credit rating, my credit rating has went from near perfect to pretty much zero. 4 months now of defaults and they're still calling and emailing me for payment.

Business of the worst kind - daylight robbery

Wow - another negative review. You’d think this business would realise that their business practice is criminal.
I had a 4 year lease which ended with a 16,000 deficit on the mileage - woohoo!! When the collection (Manheim) guy got in touch - 7:30am - because that helped him out, I felt pretty smug because I knew the car was in pristine condition. Of course, there were a few minor scrapes but, I’d had it for 4 years?!

I was told that I’d had a “paint job” done on the car… err - no…and that minor scratches were costed at £65. Firstly, I’m not a liar - prove it! Absolutely despicable. I received an invoice without any discussion of this dispute. I won’t take up your time further however - don’t use this company. Don’t hire from them, don’t lease from them and don’t rent.

There is clearly a pattern of behaviour, which is bullying (threats to take people to court etc.) I will happily take this company to court. I’m horrified at their business practices and the fact that there is a history of behaviour, I am sure there will be some legal questions asked.

Absolute shambles

Where do I start? I received the car on the 19th July 2024 and 25 hours later the car broke down with all the electricals on the right side not working. I had to phone the RAC but I was not on the system due to it being so close to receiving the car. I eventually managed to sort it without RAC and get the car home. Leasys don’t open at weekends so I had to call them on Monday 22nd July and again was still not on the system but I did put a complaint in to them. I hadn’t heard anything so called them again on the 24th of July. Finally got a response to my complaint but that was all. By 26th July rang them again to see were up to explain that I no longer want this car will they take over the insurance of it or come and collect as it was unusable. They told me it’s still with the complaints team which is absolutely ridiculous when the BVRLA guidelines say you can return a product within 30 days if it’s faulty and it wasn’t even 30 hours before the car broke down. They’re systems works by constantly passinh people from pillar to post instead of coming to collect the car.

Lousy treatment off this company. Beware!

We leased a Fiat Fiorino van off leasys for the last 5 years, In that time it's only done 5958 miles, At the end of the lease they sent a Manheim auctions to inspect and pick up the van, This company then proceeded to trump up a series of charges including £184.29 for a missing compressor and puncture kit. This kit is in the van under the driver's seat where it's been since delivery, They want to charge me for an ill-fitting bumper that's been that way since delivery, over £93 for a couple of small scrapes on plastic wheel covers, The list goes on and on. In the end, they managed to trump up £642.77 mostly from thin air on a van that's done less than 1200 miles a year!

We tried to speak to Leasys and even raised a complaint, They are not interested, Even insisting that the van has damaged alloy wheels when even the report says they are plastic, In other words, they didn't even look at their own report.

Frustrated, We have just raised a complaint with the BVRLA regarding the behavior of Leasys and Manheim.

Please if you do nothing else be there when these people inspect your return (I was unable to) as they will rob you blind.

I'm hoping that Leasys come back to me about this but I'm not hopeful, If they get their act together I'll amend my rating....maybe.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, having lots of problems with the car I lease from them. Can’t get any response, sent them two letters by recorded delivery over all the faults I am having with the car, it’s in and out of the garage with engine failure… can’t get hold of them to resolve the issue.

Stay well away!

I have just completed a 4 year lease with this company and will never use them again!
Had issues from the start in relation to being mid-sold (not directly related to Leasys) but this should have been my first warning sign!
Over the past 4 years I have had issues relating to the tax on the vehicle not being updated correctly which if I hadn’t have checked and brought to their attention, it would have gone unnoticed and would have led me to driving around with an untaxed vehicle. Even when this was raised to their attention, they did not act straight away.
The staff at the end of the phone don’t seem to care. Expect to chase them up for every little thing, even when they haven’t taxed your car correctly and would gladly let you drive round with no tax!
I Had the car for 4 years and it was looked after properly and well maintained however, please be aware they will try and fleece you for every penny you have at the end so please be extra vigilant and check through everything.l before returning and agreeing to pay.
Even now that my lease ended over a month ago, I am still receiving invoices claiming I owe money in relation to tax as in their words ‘they in error did not send out any increases during the course of my lease so are now backdating this’. I wouldn’t mind but the amount they are trying to claim on the invoice is more than advised in the notification email!!!
I no longer have an active lease yet still having issues!!
I could go on for longer as to why I would never use this company again but I would be here all day.
Please take your money and business elsewhere to avoid being out of pocket and dealing with the most unhelpful staff!

Never leasing again

This was my second time leasing after a good experience with a competitor. This time round it felt like borrowing money from a loan shark. Unknowingly for several months Leasys didn't even bother to tax the vehicle until I started receiving threatening letters from a debt collection agency chasing money for DVLA fines. When the contract was up they instructed Manheim to carry out an inspection, I am not sure who the biggest crooks are, Manheim or Leasys. Manheim literally just made faults up (see Manheim on Trust Pilot). I wont be leasing again from anyone unless there are some serious changes to the industry.

The claims fall into vain. They cannot pass you through any department in charge. They dont know anything!!

I have used Select Car Leasing to get a…

I have used Select Car Leasing to get a lease vehicle, in which the experience has not been what was agreed. SCL set me up with Leasys on a 1+23 month agreement. no payment was taken for the first 3 months, in which I was told was due to a delay with the handover from SCL to Leasys. I was then invoiced for a larger payment in one go, which was never agreed and my account was reported to the CRA which impacted my credit score, showing unpaid payments.

Seriously the worse leasing company. Don’t ever Think about taking out service with them or tire repair. When you need it, you won’t get cover or any assistance. Appalling service appalling company.

Still getting various invoices from…

Still getting various invoices from leasys despite purchasing a car from them at the end of the agreement and being supplied a settlement figure to purchase the car I was leasing which I promptly paid in full. I contacted leasys after they confirmed payment and the representative confirmed ok to cancel DD. As a finance director a settlement figure is full and final once paid you do not continue to generate random invoices after the financial settlement is made. If this is not resolved it will be raised with the FCA. Never recommend leasys...Still waiting on logbook apparently it takes 4-5 weeks, strange purchased another vehicle several days after purchasing the leasys car and I received that v5 in 3 days??. Why do leasys feel the need to hang on to this beyond settlement.

Really disappointing level of service…

Really disappointing level of service received. After the leased car arrived nearly a month later than the agreed date I was charged from the initial contract date, despite me sending prior email to change the date and emailing the lease representative. No answer from Leasys and an email from the representative informing me he's waiting for a reply from Leasys too. They are fine taking your money at the earliest opportunity but useless at replying to emails, providing a contact number that anyone answers or any other form of customer service. Based on current service I would not recommend you use them.

Avoid!!!!!!!

Avoid!!!!!!!! Funny how you can respond to me on here, but the response to my numerous email/phone complaints are closed without even speaking to me! You choose to continue to let me have a dangerous and faulty car which I use for my 3 year old child. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!
