Charlene has been absolutely brilliant with my children over the years. My son in particular has faced some learning challenges, and her patience, nurturing approach and effectiveness have made a real difference. He has now started secondary school and is really beginning to flourish — a testament to the hard work and dedication she has put in over the years. We couldn't recommend her more highly.

Charlene is extremely disciplined, organized but super kind to kids. Thanks to her, both of my kids were placed at really top academic schools. Strongly recommend her for VR/NVR.

Charlene was amazing with our son. She tutored him on English as we were preparing him for the 10+ exam at Emanuel in London. Charlene was always super well prepared, made detailed reports of his progress, made the classes easy to grasp and fun. She was also very flexible timing wise, tutoring 2x a week before exam time to ensure he was extra well prepared. Our son passed the exam and we are delighted he got an offer from his preferred school. We are so very grateful for Charlene’s support! He wouldn’t have made it without her. Thank you Charlene!

Charlene helped our son during his 11+ preparation. We are very pleased with the way she dealt with him during his preparation. Charlene was patient and methodical and was able to get the best out of our son. Would highly recommend learn with charlene!

Charlene helped my Year 6 son with 11+ tutoring in 2023. We found her to be extremely personable, always spending a few minutes to chat before and at the end of each lesson to check in on him, she used PowerPoint to explain concepts clearly and focussed on his weak points. It was evident she invested time in preparing for each lesson. She would send me a detailed report at the end of each lesson of what was covered, areas for improvement and set homework to reinforce learnings which I found incredibly helpful.

Charlene has been supporting my son in maths and English for nearly 3 years. She is absolutely brilliant and there are 3 areas in particular that stand her out from other tutors we have used. Firstly, and arguably most importantly, she is super upbeat and engaging. She shows real interest in my son way beyond the subject matter she is teaching. They have built a real rapport which is vital when trying to get tweenagers to commit. Secondly Charlene’s teaching itself is fantastic.She links all lessons closely to what’s being covered in school and specific areas of weakness. No moment is wasted! Thirdly, I get a really constructive report after each lesson which highlights progress and areas for development. This is a very helpful reference point when it comes to exams and revision for example.
