A comprehensive, compassionate overview and incredibly practical approach to learning voice acting and its respective business. The humor and visual explanations go a long way, and having so many real-world examples and demonstrations gave the guide a more intimate, "in the booth" feel. A must for VOs.

Not only is the class itself hugely informative, but it also provides hyperlinks to other beneficial resources like quality sound equipment, demo production, and DAWs. Those resources aren't free either, but you don't need to see them immediately. It's easy to pick and choose which ones you think are necessary at your point in your career.

Overall, this course is an absolute must-watch for anyone starting voice acting from step zero.

Voice acting education is all about value. This course helps to provide the proper outlook in working in this field, but also a realistic expectation on how to find success. Lastly, it outlines a detailed explanation as to what makes a voice actor business a reality. The video based education helps you remain engaged throughout. It is worth it.

I got hired for a job less than 2 months after doing the course

A fantastic academy that provides great value. The course effectively launches you into Voice Over work and supports ongoing growth. The only thing missing was consistent live feedback, but this is well compensated for by the many add-ons like the Level Up Lab and After Hours courses. A great starting point!

Joe has always found ways to be able to help a lot of us with trying to get into voice acting when we struggle with other hobbies. He knows what to tell us as tips or ideas.

The idea of voice acting felt impossible for a very long time since I don't live in Las Angeles, now I know I don't have to, and I can do it at home! The lessons are tackling what I want and what I need.

I went into this course on a whim, purely out of the love I have for video games, anime, and other media. I was a little unsure at first, and I’m not done with the course so take this with a grain salt, (I’ve done a little over 100 lessons) but overall I’m very happy with this course. It’s very digestible, with most lessons being under 15 minutes and the longer lessons being demonstrations that go in depth on the exact process being shown. On top of that the course has covered a lot of bases, not just voice acting to voice act. Things I had concerns about like the financial responsibilities and how to market yourself also got addressed. I’m not gonna say I’m a professional, but I can confidently say that I have way more motivation and knowledge than I had before I started, the dream I want seems achievable you know? It’s something that I would recommend someone who wants to get into voice acting assuming they can afford it, well done Joe!

This course is so thorough I had to keep pausing to take notes, cause it was like trying to take sip from a fire hose!! I loved how easy to understand everything was, how Joe taught things like mind-set, as well as the technical stuff. This course was fantastic. So worth it.

Joe gives inciteful information and explains it in a way where it's easy to absorb and doesn't overcomplicate topics. Definitely recommend to anyone learning the field of voiceover
