My two sons have been attending regularly for years. Julia and Ken helped us navigate primary school (for example, by undoing the damage caused by a bad teacher) and helped us prepare for secondary school, including applications, choosing the right school, whether to accept an out-of-the-blue offer by another school etc.

It is still your child but they have everything that they need to navigate the school system successfully and gain the knowledge that will get them prepared for university and life in general.

Recently, one of my sons had to skip a class and we were offered that the other one attended an extra class instead. He gladly accepted the offer without any encouragement from our side.

Julia & Ken who run Learning Links have created a very special place for kids to learn. Both experienced and qualified teachers, I felt so lucky to have stumbled across it. They brought out the best in my neuro diverse daughter, something that is not easy to achieve. My daughter achieved grade 9’s in all the GCSE’s that she took whilst a student at their centre.

Fantastic tutoring, support and advice. Julia took my son who’s dyslexic from a C to A*. They’re 10 out of 5 and I’m in debited to them.

Julia and Ken have the emotional intelligence so often lacking in tutors and especially in tutorial centres. They take the time to get to know the child and his/her abilities and special needs. Pupils have gone on to Oxbridge but the real hallmark of a great tuition centre is getting pupils with special needs (whether dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, autism, etc) over whatever their line is. I have referred several SEN clients with EHCPs and EOTIS to Learning Links as I know their needs will be met.

My child enjoys learning at Learning Links. The lessons are made easy to understand.

Julie and Ken worked hard to help my daughter pass both her English and Maths GCSE. They made the sessions fun and she always came out saying she had learnt something or something was made clearer for her. Would highly recommend them and nothing was too much for them. Ken, Julia and the tutors are extremely helpful, supportive and flexible. My year 11 daughter is growing in confidence with maths. All staff are knowledgeable about the GCSE expectations.
