My WHOLE life I've been trying to paint watercolors that I actually liked.

I've been to art classes locally, tried youtube, tried other courses and never got the look or quality I wanted.

I've stopped and started watercolor about 100 times.

Then I met Pomm. Before I painted an actual picture, I learned simple fundamentals. Things I had NEVER been taught.

When it came to actually paint it all started to make sense.

Having her there (and INCREDIBLE artist who I'm honored to be learning from) looking at my art every week and giving me personalized feedback on everything I'm doing wrong and everything I'm doing right has been utterly priceless.

It's clear that she cares for and loves every one of her students.

It's just been an incredible experience from day one.

I was a bit scared to join and invest in a hobby. I'm so happy I did. My spouse and kids are happy I did. It's been an amazing journey and I'm only a few months in.

I started painting with watercolor in mid-September, 2026. It's now the beginning of October, same year, and I have already learned so much!

Investing in yourself is always a win-win. Pomm's academy is so worth it. Pomm and her assistants are honest but encouraging, and always willing to help whenever a student is struggling. At least, that has been my experience and I haven't heard anything different from anyone else in the academy.

The other students in the academy are also uniquely kind and encouraging. We all share our stories, struggles, successes: our journeys.

At only three weeks in, I already see immense improvement in my work. I'm so happy that I decided to make this investment in myself.

Worth the investment! Even if you’ve been painting watercolor already, Pomm’s method is amazing and she is a true Master. I’ve been painting for 2 years, learning bits and pieces from a variety of sites and methods. But I felt stuck at a certain level and was not satisfied with the results. Pomm obviously has a heart to share her experience and expertise with us in order to take us to a new level of beauty in our paintings. And I must add that her faithful assistant, Megan, is tremendous and so patient with all of our questions!

Up until now, I’ve only painted beautiful watercolors in my head! The ones I’ve done following tutorials left me with muddy messes. I signed up for Pomm’s Masterclass a month ago. She teaches a unique method that breaks the watercoloring process down to 5 easy steps. So far, I’ve completed and posted 2 of my course paintings and have gotten so many encouraging responses. While I was putting final touches on my second painting, my husband saw what I was doing and said, “WOW! You’re an artist!” Now, I can’t wait to get started on my 3rd! I joined Pomm's Watercolor Institute for a 12 month program a little over 3 months ago.
Pomm teaches a simple process that can be applied to all sorts if motives. It is a representational style, very life like and detailed.
It's not just about learning the theory and craft of painting water colors, it's just as much about learning to see the world a little differently and noticing how things really look, whether it's a house, a flower or a portrait.
Pomm teaches through tutorials, a check sheet and live lessons as well as personal feedback. There is also a community whith other students.
I like how each painting is treated like a project, from choosing a subject matter, to preparing the paper, sketching and finally painting the different stages.
It's a slow process, and you have to be present in the moment, which is quite calming after a while.

Pomm has helped me bring my skills to the next level! Ive been painting with watercolors for over 6 years. Ive done pretty good on my own but felt like i hit a wall but didn’t know how to get the results I really wanted. I signed up for Pomm Watercolor Academy 4 months ago. I have loved art and painting since I was a child. Life took me on a different path and art was pushed back for many years but I always had the yearning of picking it up again. That moment came when I saw an advertisement for Pomm’s Watercolor Academy. I fell in love with her painting style and her paintings. I could not believe I was looking at watercolors! Amazing talent and I was hooked. I joint the classes and I have started painting again. The classes provide all the needed guidance for us to be successful. Pomm as well as her assistant are there to guide us, to answer our questions and to listen to our concerns. The weekly classes are informative, with Pomm doing live lessons sharing her knowledge and skill. Pomm is a wonderful instructor. Every week the class is filled with helpful information. She also takes time to demonstrate each technique. She really simplifies the process and makes you believe that you can do it - and you can!! She also takes time to look over every step of your work and she helps talk you through the process. She will even make a video specifically for your situation. Her attention to detail is amazing.

I am currently enrolled with Pomm in her institute and, as a beginner in watercolor, I have learned so much already. I feel I’m growing in confidence with every painting I complete. Pomm has a wonderful 5-phase process that can be applied to every painting. Following these steps has really helped me to succeed in many of my paintings. She shares her skills with such genuine kindness and wanting her students to succeed. Personal critiques from Pomm are invaluable. Pomm and Megan, her technical guru, are just fabulous. So approachable and genuinely friendly and caring. I am loving it and would highly recommend Pomm.

I joined Pomm’s classes about 4 months ago. She is such a talented artist and teacher. I have painted about 20 pictures and with her guidance I can see how I am progressing. She provides personal feedback that is so helpful.

I did a watercolor workshop with Pomm, and I was amazed by what she is capable of creating with watercolor. The level of detail, the perfect colors, and the beautiful shadows she achieves are incredible.

The fact that she is a very successful painter and is so willing to share her knowledge is a huge positive for me. She genuinely cares about artists and wants to help them reach their goals.
