Beds still not here!!

For clarity and transparency, your order #12478 was placed in Western Australia with free delivery, which involves stock transfer. To help reduce your waiting time, we offered an upgraded model that was already available locally in WA at a higher value. The delay at this stage was mainly due to awaiting final confirmation on the replacement option. Once our team was informed on Tuesday afternoon that you had confirmed the change, we immediately prioritised the order, and the delivery was successfully completed by 10am Wednesday.

Regarding installation, we completely understand your expectations. While we were not able to provide complimentary installation in this case, we do offer professional installation as a paid service, which ensures the work is completed safely and to a high standard. As our WA warehouse is newly established, our local installation team is still being expanded and trained, which limited what we could arrange immediately. That said, we did prioritise your delivery and provided an installation subsidy as a gesture of goodwill.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused during this process. Worst delivery service even we paid delivery charges

We have paid for the delivery charges to delivery it to upstairs, but delivery guy didn't even knock the door or ring a door bell but left the delivery infront of our house and sent us the delivery status with fake signature saying delivered. We couldn't even reach customer service from leafliving and also the delivery guy number.

Delivery did take a bit longer than we expected, which was a little annoying, but to be fair customer service was good about it and kept us updated. Once it arrived, we were really happy with the quality. Solid product and worth the wait.

Do Not Approach This Company-NEVER

When purchasing from Leaf Living, a delivery timeframe is shown on their website, and you trust that information. But after completing the purchase, do you receive an email stating that they extended the delivery time frame and it may take two to three weeks?

After waiting more than one month, following up repeatedly, and spending a significant amount of time and effort, you are then told it may take another three weeks. Even with this, you will not receive your item!! They do not honour their promise, just play with you.

It is very difficult to get any response to calls or emails. You are forced to spend considerable time chasing them, which becomes both stressful and frustrating. When responses are eventually received, they are often vague, inconsistent, or simply not followed through.

Just look at their Trustpilot rating — it reflects the reality of this company.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this company altogether.

How to lose business

Having sent numerous messages via their AI chat, asking various questions & given positive answers, despite being promised several times that I will receive an email, I never did. I finally rang, but the response I got was not enthusiastic!! I was promised answers, but never got them. All I wanted was to order a product, but they had no interest whatsoever!! Today I purchased & paid more, for a better option, and the whole process was a breeze!! Suffice as to say I will never engage with this company again. Their attitude towards business is appalling

Nightmare experience with Leafliving 🙅

Nightmare experience with Leafliving 🙅. Ordered and paid in full for a pool table on Dec 10th 2025. Got partial delivery and still waiting 3 months later! Customer service is slow, responses are delayed, and excuses are endless. Don't waste your time and money like I did 😡. I can't comment on the table as it is still in pieces.

Three months and still waiting

Ordered a table tennis / pool table in November 2025 and three months later it still hasn’t arrived. Website stated 4-6 weeks delivery time, so we were expecting it around or just after Christmas. Received two emails after ordering saying that it was on track, which was a total lie. We emailed the company asking when the table would likely be coming, and received a couple of emails back making excuses for the delay and then saying it should arrive in 2 weeks -it has now been another 4 weeks since then. They have offered us a full refund but the kids still want the table so we decided to continue waiting. Now no further correspondence has been received giving us any indication of when it might arrive. Would not recommend buying from Leaf Living. Kids are extremely disappointed that they haven’t been able to use the table over summer.

Still waiting for delivery or even an update on expected delivery. Has been over 6 weeks. Several emails exchanged but no results or indication of when my items will be delivered if at all. I think this is a scam site and I will be contacting consumer affairs to report. Do not purchase from this site.

We take allegations of “fraud” very seriously, and we respectfully disagree with that characterisation.

Your table is a fully customised piece, a special round configuration with custom colour selection. To our knowledge, we are currently the only supplier in the Australian market offering this specific design and finish combination. Custom projects of this nature are made to order rather than drawn from standard stock.

Your table was delivered within the agreed custom production timeframe.

In the days leading up to Christmas, you contacted us requesting installation. Although our installation team was fully booked during the peak period, we rearranged schedules and had a technician attend on 26 December, during the holiday period, to ensure your table was professionally assembled as soon as possible.

During the final stage of installation, it was discovered that the pocket components were missing from the packaging. The table had been delivered sealed and unopened. Rather than debating the cause, we immediately reordered the custom pocket components from the manufacturer. As this is a bespoke product, replacement parts require production time.
Importantly, the missing pocket trims did not affect the table’s structural integrity or ability to be used in the interim.

At the time we became aware of this review, our records indicate the order had been completed. If there has been any timing discrepancy in communication, we apologise for the frustration caused and understand how delays, particularly around the holiday period, can feel amplified.

Your table is a striking custom piece, and we are proud of the final result. We have attached a reference image of the model for clarity.

DANGEROUS GOODS

DANGEROUS GOODS — AVOID.

We bought a kids bunk bed from Leaf Living and what turned up was a joke. The timber and finish were visibly damaged, the paint job was cheap and patchy, there were cracks/splitting at joins, and the fixings didn’t line up properly. For bunk beds meant for children, that’s not “cosmetic” as Leaf Living put it, that’s a safety issue.

There is zero chance this bunk bed meets Australian safety standards.

We sent photos and demanded a refund. Instead of taking responsibility, Leaf Living kept sending generic, copy-paste, ChatGPT-style replies blaming “transport” and “installation” to dodge a refund. Just endless circles, excuses, and delay tactics.

We’ve lodged a Consumer Affairs complaint and we’re still out of pocket.

AVOID.

09/02 - Update: Leaf Living’s reply is more nonsense. They claim our photos were “non-visible internal components” and “taken before completion”.
Wrong. Every photo is of visible, external surfaces (you can see for yourself) the stuff you see when it’s assembled. Chips, cracks, bad paint, damage and misaligned fixings. You can’t hide that.

The posted links to pretty photos are not even of our actual product. Irrelevant.

They also keep talking about a refund being “processed/under review” (we have emails saying this) but no refund has been processed and we’re still out of pocket.

Lots of words, zero action. AVOID.

We take all customer feedback seriously, particularly where children’s furniture and safety are concerned.

In this case, the bunk bed supplied is structurally sound and compliant with Australian safety standards. The concerns raised relate primarily to cosmetic appearance and to photographs taken prior to the completion of professional installation, including images of non-visible internal components that are not part of the finished, user-facing product.

To address the customer’s concerns in good faith, we offered:

Complimentary professional installation (normally a paid service), to ensure the product is completed and assessed in its final, intended condition; and

As a goodwill option, acceptance of a return after the item is dismantled and securely packaged, which is a standard requirement of our third-party logistics partners.

Unfortunately, these reasonable solutions were declined, and we were asked to proceed in a manner that is not operationally feasible within industry norms.

When you requested a cancellation, our team engaged with you with all possible solutions and, without dispute, proceeded to cancel the order and issue a full refund back to the original payment method. The refund was processed directly by Leaf Living via Shopify Payments, not through Amex.

Very Slow Delivery

Ordered a "Double Happiness Premium 25mm Indoor" table tennis table for family for Christmas. Website advised 3-week lead time - ordered with time to spare.

No delivery by Christmas.

Lots of emails to support, told delivery by mid-Jan. Then late-Jan. Now early February, still waiting.

Each week told it will be delivered very soon and never happens. Seems to be bad communication between the support team and whoever actually manages the deliveries.

Update 14/02/2026: Table was delivered 4/02/2026, so about 8 weeks from ordering or 5 weeks after estimated delivery. So a big delay but at least it did arrive. Updating review from 1 to 3 stars.

Table itself is of good quality overall, especially for the price. Some of the supplied instructions were outdated (probably design has been updated but instructions not). Assembly was also more work than expected but was doable in 3-4 hours.

Word of warning of this dodgy company. Expect Chinese crap from them if you even get to receive it. Wasting your time and money as this company lies on being Australia owned. It's a Chinese run company and all the crap looks good on there website, but it is a mass Chinese crap that they are selling. Read other reviews and buyer be very aware.

Worst experience of buying something online since the internet was created

If I could give less than a star it would be too much.
Ordered a kids bed.
Asked for it to be ‘customised’ as part of the service they offer.
Paid $400 for a different color and amendments and was told 8 week delivery.
Each week we asked ‘where is the bed’?
Each time was told ‘Because it’s custom it will take longer’
Took 7 months to arrive and was a regular bed, no customisation.
Anyway, instead of refunding the customisation fee Leaf Living somehow thought they’d do us a favour by providing installation at no cost (usually $400).
Hmmm, we didn’t get a $400 customisation, nor a refund but was told they’d provide a $400 installation of something we didn’t order for free?
Anyway, 7 months had gone by so we said ok let’s just get a bed for our son who had been waiting for 7 months.
Someone randomly arrived with no notice and installed the incorrectly delivered bed.
Absolute mess, drawers dont close ir open, screw holes all over where there should be none, screws pushing through frame. Total muppet job and blamed the product.
Filled out a form asking if bed was installed to our satisfaction.
Said NO!
No response.
Then was told they’d provide bed we ordered as custom had arrived 9 months later nearly. Would we like it installed?
They didn't even realise they had sent someone to install what they incorrectly delivered and then furthermore that it was in poor condition, broken on arrival and badly installed.
Their logistics is garbage.
Communication is rubbish.
They dont know what they are doing.
We’ve asked for a significant refund and no response, except for the lovely support placations.
Stay as far away from this company as you can.
If it goes pear shaped you will get no help from them.
Leaf living will likely respond differently to this review expressing thier priorities and services, and once again extend the entire process to the point one just gives up.
