I had placed an order for lawn service and no one showed up. After a couple days I had someone else mow the lawn. The very next day someone from this site showed up and noticed it was already mowed. He knocked on the door and asked my husband if he could take pictures. My husband didn't know what to say other than they lawn was mowed the previous day. The contractor took pictures and up loaded them to the site. He submitted the same before and after pictures. I did not approve the work, but the website approved it after a week. I tried to contact them and let them know I did not receive the service and never heard back. I am currently disputing the charge on my credit card because it was $60 for no service. Never again. Pervious to the, I had used this site twice (over two years ago) and had no issue.

Do not waste your money or time.Paid for the service but i had no pending service. it’s like they just took my money and never tried to find anyone to do the service. Do not waste your time on emailing these people because I did it twice no response so I had to call my credit card company.

Complete garbage. No response to my job, no ability to change to bid as was indicated, didn’t change automatically as indicated. Emailed support, no response. Don’t waste your time.

Lie dont pay contra tors. . Wont help when abused by customers . Ive been assaulted by customers and other contractors .

Slave wages. 1980's pricing. Times have changed. Inflation is REAL folks. Gas prices are up, food prices are up. No one can work for these prices anymore that is why contractors no show. Gas stations and restaurants pay better and there is no risk. My service to lawns starts at $50. I mowed several seasons commercially for LMO in ATX/DFW. Prices are awful and the general public online is rude, GREEDY, and abusive. The price attracts the worst people to work for, mowing lawns is hard work, no wants to do it anymore. It is both disgusting and sad. The platform gives people too much power over contractors. Even with the few good customers, there is simply too much risk involved. I gave up, tried other platforms only to see people hiding behind keyboards again, and it's all just not worth it. I pick my customers very carefully now. Look at some of the nasty reviews online of people complaining about no shows or how they did not get their way.

I decided to register as a contractor going on 3 days ago now even though on the site it says " reply back in less than 24 hours" ummmm I can see possible issues with this already.

probably a scam. I received an email that my work is completed but no one ever showed up at my house. They even uploaded pictures of some random yard proving the work is done. What a scam. Wait 2 days to receive pictures of someone else's yard.

I booked an appointment two days in advance to get my lawn mowed. I never received a time that my lawn would get mowed, so I cancelled my order. I don't like when a so called business can't be professional.

As a contractor I was removed from accepting lawns because of a dispute with a customer. The day I was assigned to mow the customers lawn it rained heavy where I lived and I checked the weather forecast and it showed we would have more rain throughout the day and I let the customer know of the situation with the rain, so I messaged the customer that I would have to postpone the job for next day, the customer argued that it did not rain on their side of town so they wanted to cancel, I contacted the company by email and no response, I’m not going to put my $9k equipment on the rain just because it’s not raining on their area and now Im not able to accept any contracts.

I have used this website for few years now and besides some contractors not showing up, this website has provided great protection and an excellent interface to bring contractors and customers together. If the contractor doesn't do the job, you have to right to not release payment, so I don't know why all these people are saying its a scam. You have to write "I agree" to release payments. Keep up the good work

Waited all day. Took it stole my money fast enough.

No one showed up. No communication as to when they would show up. No communication as to why they didn't show up.
No home number so You can't call them.

You are conned.

Feel very foolish. Don't make a mistake like me.

If I get a refund I will edit my review. As of now I have to go to yelp and other online services to warn ppl.

I paid them to have my lawn mowed TODAY! I sent the contractor a message asking when they’d be by to cut the grass, and the contractor said he was NOT coming to do it because it was “too far away!” If the job was too far away WHY DID YOU ACCEPT IT?! Now NOBODY from the “company” will email me back about a refund and ALL the other lawn care companies around me are booked and can’t cut my grass! I’m LIVID! It seems like a big too good to be true scheme to SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY

I found site and booked online. Paid a tip beforehand. Very small area to mow. Maybe would take 15 min total. Very small area of 6 inches and I paid for 6 Inches all around.
No one called, emailed, showed up, nothing.
Uber shows up. This site did not deliver. Don’t use.

No show.

Confirmed my booking, and then it turned into a "bid", with 0 replies. I live in Suburban Chicago, so not exactly the middle of nowhere.

Would be a great service if it worked like they advertise.

Set up an appointment, nobody showed up. Then they make you wait 72 hours to even start to process a refund.
