Do not buy from La Vie Mode
I wish there was a minus star setting for this company.
They are beyond despicable, I ordered from their website having looked at where they were based (website stated Belgium) all the photographs were of European Men and Women and email address is a dot com address.
So on the surface everything looked legit.
I placed my order based on the returns procedure which, at the time, stated they were happy to receive returns for full refund if I was sending back at my cost.
Order placed, it took 9 weeks to arrive! I chased and was told it had been despatched and they would chase the carrier. (I chased 3 times)
When the package finally arrived, baring in mind I had ordered three pairs of shoes and two summer outfits, it arrived in a plastic postal bag, you know the type (grey). The shoes were not in boxes but in plastic bags and therefore crushed. The label said the origin was, yep you got it China
The “cotton” outfits on inspection were 100% polyester one of the shirts didn’t even have a label in it!! (You wouldn’t want to stand near open flames at a summer bbq!
I contacted the company to arrange a return this is where they showed their true colours.
Poor communication, when they did respond it was deflection and lies! I pressed and pressed and eventually received an address to return the goods to. My total order came to £247 and the return cost came to £45 but I was promised a full refund!
I sent my well boxed package back to the address in Ningbo China via DHL advising the sender of the tracking number.
On arrival in China DHL attempted to deliver to the said address for it to be “refused” and DHL were instructed by the receiver to destroy it.
As the sender, DHL to their credit, contacted me to ask what did I want to do, at which point I shared the correspondence with them proving they did say to send it back to the address given. DHL attempted again to deliver only to receive the same response.
DHL contacted me again and I told them to return the goods back to me in the UK.
I contacted Evie Hall (customer support team) at La Vie Mode who denied everything even the two attempted deliveries.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Do more research find out if the company is Chinese if it is DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Takes ages to arrive and then to see…
Takes ages to arrive and then to see that not true to measures and extremely poor quality.
They ask you to pay for a tracked return which is quite costly.
Even though the product doesn't match the description as stated above.
Surely is their fault and the customer should not have to pay anymore, thus losing money for an item that is not as described.
Only wish I could've seen the reviews before I placed an order.
Avoid at all costs!
Avoid this website at all cost
Ordered 1 cardigan & recvd 2. When I made e-mail contact the following day was advised it was too late to change even though was less than 12 hrs later. When the 2 items arrived were very poor quality & fit with no label inside either. Requested returns & refund immediately. Took numerous e-mails to get returns details. Finally posted returns & was offered a partial refund.Paid £30.00 to return on 21st July & still haven't had any kind of refund. Absolutely disgusting company do not believe anything they write on website. Charged £120 for 2 cardigans when I ordered 1 & then got charged over £30 to return & had no refund.....
Do not buy from them
The XL jumper I bought was a little snug. Instead of exchanging for a 2XL they offered a refund. But you have to send it back 'to China' - at your own expense.
Or keep it and they'll give you 20% back.
Turns out Le Vie en mode, are not French.
They are also not great to do business with.
Appalling
Appalling. Slow delivery, awful product not as shown on website, unable to get a reply to return and get a refund. Complete scam.
Terrible run company
Terrible run company, taken a month to bring my clothes. Would not recommend one bit
SCAM
SCAM. Website details constantly change. Items are poor quality and do not comply with uk regulations. Shipped direct from. China..materials bar no relation to website. This company will rob you. Stay away they have been denying liability asking for photos, when sent they are ignored. They know exactly what they are doing so wished I had come and checked them out on trustpilot before I ordered, then I wouldn't be writing this.
🚨🚨 this is a scam website
🚨🚨 this is a scam website. They advertised a bracelet I bought as sterling silver and the price I paid was what you would expect to pay for sterling silver. It was tat tin they sent. Total scam website, taking people's money and not sending what was advertised.
Scammed DO NOT USE
Scammed for items advertised unfortunately. Items delivered awful quality and oversized not as advertised and you cannot get a refund tried contacting every way possible don’t get no response and only seeing now a lot of other people have reports to national fraud and cyber security
No Refunds!!!
Clothing quality was poor to begin with. Even lacking basic information like size, brand etc. As if made as cheaply as possible, but then the worst part... Asked for a refund via email, was told i'd have to pay to send back to China. Said that was ok, but started getting counter offers for store credit. refused and the offer went higher about 3x until i got their final offer. refused every time and said i would return, then the emails stopped and i couldn't get hold of them. Also wouldn't give me the return address so had to solve through my bank. Dreadful company.

The worst clothes I have ever bought
The worst clothes I have ever bought. From china and clearly AI pictures and description's. Do not buy anything from this site
Do not under any circumstances purchase…
Do not under any circumstances purchase from this company’s website. Clothing received is not as described. Hence, it’s a fraud. Purportedly, Italian made clothes - a lie. Truth - a Chinese scam. I made the mistake of not checking reviews - a lesson learned. Received totally sub standard clothing. Submitted a charge back with Visa but dispute rejected as items received - no consideration of the
fraud as a factor in the dispute. Have now reported company to National Cyber Security Centre.
Very poor service, and fraudulent product description
Customer service didn’t answer the phone or reply to emails, after a week had passed and I had received no notification that my purchase had shipped.
The cap, described as being made of linen, even down to the care instructions, arrived after 3 weeks.
The cap is 100% polyester.
Very disappointed and will be returning.
Overall, shocking customer experience, avoid!
Scam
I have ordered 3 pairs of shoes from this company they displayed good reviews, clearly fake. The packaged it in just bubble wrap and parcel bag. Which damaged the shoes and creased them. They shoes didnt fir. The inner soles was going away. Such poor quality shoes and they refusing to give me a full refund. And now they have stopped responding. NEVER BUY. THEY ARE FRAUDS AND SCAMMERS.
Scam company operating from Chinese warehouse
This company is based in Belgium however their products ship from China and return items must be returned to a Chinese warehouse. Nowhere on the website is this indicated which is unfair on the consumer.
Shop elsewhere
Should have read these reviews before I made a purchase. After waiting 3 weeks for delivery from China, the shorts I ordered are nothing like the pics on the website. Poor quality and oversized. Now trying to return them but the company will not confirm the returns address as per their returns policy on the website. Very disappointed. Shop elsewhere.
