If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. This isn’t just bad customer service; it is a meticulously designed, predatory financial trap. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES link your credit card or payment info to Launchpass.

I signed up for a basic $10/month Discord access. Within a few days, I realized the group was dead, so I went to cancel. The "Cancel Subscription" button on their dashboard is literally a fake, broken link that just refreshes the page. When I tried accessing it from three different browsers and a mobile device, it threw a "500 Internal Server Error." How incredibly convenient for them.

It gets infinitely worse. I reached out to their "Support" to manually cancel. Their AI bot is a brick wall programmed to gaslight you. When I finally bypassed it to reach a human, the representative outright lied to me, claiming my subscription was "locked by the community owner" and Launchpass legally couldn't stop the billing. I contacted the Discord owner, who told me Launchpass has 100% control over the Stripe payment portal and only they can issue cancellations. It is a calculated infinite loop of finger-pointing designed to keep your card on file.

While I was stuck in this endless game of ping-pong, Launchpass didn't just charge me for the next month—they started hitting my card with daily, random fraudulent charges ranging from $15 to $85. Just like other reviews mentioned, they disguised the merchant names, charging me under fake educational institutions and shell LLCs so my bank wouldn't immediately flag it as a duplicate subscription.

Here is the absolute lowest point: I gave up on their "support" and opened a fraud dispute with my bank. In direct retaliation, a Launchpass support agent forwarded my entire unredacted email chain—including my full real name, email address, and dispute details—directly to the shady Discord owner. The owner then used that information to track down my social media and started harassing me in private messages for doing a chargeback! Launchpass actively doxxed me and breached my privacy just for trying to stop them from stealing my money.

Even after I canceled my credit card, they somehow tried routing the fraudulent charges through my PayPal account, which I had used once over two years ago for a completely different service. They kept pinging old payment methods trying to find a way in. I eventually had to entirely close my checking account and freeze my credit to get the bleeding to stop.

Every single 5-star review you see for this platform is written by the server owners who are profiting off this extortion racket. They are harboring scammers and actively facilitating credit card fraud. Run away from this platform, or prepare to spend weeks on the phone with your bank's fraud department.

Always a great experience using Launchpass for my online business, while STRIPE isbt that great, Launchpass are. Always there, swift replies and no bs.

I booked two Discord subscriptions with them which I apparently can’t cancel.
According to their ‚AI support‘ this is a known problem to them and you ‚have to contact the owner’. One owner just doesn’t reply and the other one told me Launchpass has to cancel my subscription - great feedback loop here.
The human Launchpass ‚support‘ told me to basically just click cancel (which obviously is not available on the website, no matter the device you access it from) and now I‘m back with the AI support telling me to cancel by contacting the owners…
So I‘ll have to close my credit card now.

Also note, all positive reviews come from Discord owners apparently… of course they‘ll love a service that doesn’t let you cancel a subscription.

Pure mess, avoid at all costs, worst service I‘ve ever used!

I purchased a Telegram subscription through this platform. After one week, when there were only a few days left until it expired, I canceled the subscription and received confirmation that it was canceled. However, a few days later, money was deducted from my bank balance for an additional week of subscription.

I contacted the group owner, who claims that LaunchPass must issue the refund, but when I contacted LaunchPass, they claim that the refund must be issued by the group owner. Moreover, all of our private correspondence with LaunchPass was forwarded to the group owner by your customer support consultant Maria, who later simply ignored me and stopped responding. The consultant Jeianna also lacks any competence and was unable to help with anything.

I have never seen worse customer service. I lost money, and my rights were violated when our correspondence with the customer support team was shared with third parties by consultant Maria. We will not leave this as it is.

Somehow I ended signed up to this service and I had to cancel my credit card because they wouldn’t stop sending me fraudulent charges multiple times a day. I had already had this problem with them a year ago, asked them to stop, and they claimed to cancel my subscriptions (that I was not aware of having subscribed to). A year later they came back and started all over again, but charging me even more.

They submit charges from EXPERIENCE.RMCAD.EDU, which presents itself as an educational institution, but this is not an educational institution — I think it’s some kind of way that Discord server holders can independently charge you for weird services.

100% a scam, cancel your credit card right away and save yourself the hassle — they will not meaningfully respect your requests to stop charging you in the longterm.

Good platform. It was easy to set up a sign up page, connect stripe, connect discord...Great customer service too.

I had to use launchpass a few months ago for a subscription. After canceling the subscription, it was renewed for some reason. No support help. Cant to login to calceling again and again. Worst service ever.

I joined a mentorship leaded by a scammer (had no idea at first).
I was charged without my authorization although the bank wording indicates a payment and not a direct debit, I requested a refund as well as the cancellation of the 3 months of billing that was sent to me following the termination at the initiative of the owner of the mentorship, launchpass replied that it was not possible to see with my bank and/or the person responsible for the business in question. It is out of the question that this kind of behavior is not punished, I invite you to be careful their service (launchpass) are not intended to scam people I think but the use of business owners and their conditions facilitates these scams, they protect them in a way.

I had to use launchpass a few months ago for a subscription. After canceling the subscription, it was renewed for some reason. Now I'm trying to get my money back. The launchpass support is less than helpful; It's just an AI that tells me I have to get my money back from the service that I'm subscribed to for some reason. Worst service ever.

My experience with Launchpass has been pretty faultless really. I was recommended to the company by a friend that was very similar work and never looked back. They had a video call with me in the early stages to talk through the whole process and any queries I had. The whole set up process was very straightforward. My Discord server has been running with Launchpass behind it since January 2024 and 9-10 months in, I have had no issues. Also whenever I have had queries, the support team are always on hand to deal with them. With all of sign ups, payments and so on for my Discord server, it would be a ton of admin but Launchpass take all of that stress away. I genuinely could not recommend them highly enough!

It was easy to figure out on my own. I scheduled a follow up call and Chloe check it over and gave me hints for starting up!
