Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Products are too big for your size even after ordering one size smaller. Asked too many pictures of the product, gave $20 store credit for $200 item. Already paid shipping to get product, now asking to pay return shipping or I have to be responsible for the alterations. Any of the options would cost additional $50-70 and they gave $20 store credit which I would never use. They trap you and you don’t have much options. I would never buy again.

I accidentally purchased an item on the…

I accidentally purchased an item on the website and tried to cancel the order within 30 minutes of ordering. There was no option to immediately cancel the order and I could only reach out to customer service. I reached out to customer service and they responded two days later and couldn’t cancel the order because it was already processed. When I try to return the item, they make their customers responsible for a restocking fee and shipping fee that was more than the item cost itself originally to ship internationally despite being shipped from a warehouse in Arizona. Very disappointing customer service.

Our team always tries to assist with any possible solutions; however, in your case, the outfit may have already been in the final process when we received your request.

Regarding returns, they are processed according to the policy mentioned on our website. For more cost-effective return shipping, we generally recommend using USPS. While the restocking fee cannot be waived, you may choose store credit instead if you would prefer to receive the full refund amount without deduction.

Return Policy Cost is terrible.

The products are nice, but the return policy is terrible. Don’t recommend buying if you are an international customer. $200 to send items back from Canada. Plus Lashkaraa takes off 15% if you want it refunded to original method of payment. Of of $500 purchase I would only be receiving maybe $200 back.
Now I’m stuck with 2 items that I don’t want.

The process of ordering was simple and easy. The only reason it lost a star was because there is no estimated delivery even after putting in my address. I would like to know if in case I have event coming up I can have the items on time.

No update

There has been no update on my order and it’s been 11 days. You have to Download a new app just to see the status but it keeps saying “preparing order” the website quoted it would be made and shipped within 7 days.
I still have 0 idea when my order will be delivered.

Improved Experience

I've ordered multiple times from Lashkaraa over the years and I'm much more impressed by the service this time round. I ordered the Sky Blue Embroidered Velvet Saree in the standard size and it arrived with more than enough time before the event.
The quality of the fabric and the embroidery was beautiful and the saree fit perfectly.

I did have to email Lashkaraa to check up on the delivery status as I was worried my order wouldn't arrive in time. The responses from the team were quick and I was kept updated on the process of my order.

Overall, a much better experience than I've had in the past with Lashkaraa.

I love how the tailors are making…

I love how the tailors are making suggestions and emailing them to the customers- before beginning the custom made order.

I haven’t received my order yet but hopefully it will arrive soon since it said “ships in 5 days.” Of course with custom stitching I would expect shipping to begin a little bit later.

Based on my last order, quality is great.

There wasn't a save to pick dresses…

There wasn't a save to pick dresses then Narrow down choice. When trying to remove items in cart website was very slow to remove greater than a day or would not update so item would keep popping up.

Do NOT recommend. Not a good experience from the start.

This was not a great experiece from the very beginning. I ordered a dress that they had first stated I could custom make the top for. Then they removed the option to do this and told me I could not. I used their size chart and orderd the size based on this. When it arrived, the top was MUCH too big!. The measurements the noted for bust was 38, but this was actually what they had used for the underbust! I emailed them about this issue and they refused to take accountability for it. I had to Pay $80 to return this to try to get on made for me so i can actually wear what already was a $250+ item. It has been extremely frustrating to deal with this shop and it will most certainly be the last time.

Update to their silly response below, I’ve been dealing with your customer service which has been another horrible experience. They don’t listen and when you respond to their emails they don’t read them and just keep sending you emails saying you haven’t responded.

Quality

This is the first Indian outfit I've bought that did not need alterations. Its good quality and came measured as expected with nice materials. Its beautiful, stylish and will look great at an Indian beach wedding. It does take a little time to go from order to delivery, but reasonable if you are not in a rush.
