First time ordering from the site and the experience was great. I love how affordable the site it, and will definitely be back in the future. My only gripe was I wish tracking the order was easier (though, first time user, its not actually that confusing) and the timing of emails sent out was just a little confusing (e.g. asking for a review came much earlier than the package arriving), though nothing that dampened the experience at all. Customer support was fast to respond, helpful and easy to talk to. I have zero other concerns with my purchase, the quality is great and the shipping was fast!

Fast delivery, import tax included
Very fast preparation and shipping, package was ready to go in hours rather than days and package was in my hands in 2 business days (shipped on Friday, arrived on Monday) with FedEx option.
The tax mentioned in the shopping cart was bit of a mystery at first and I thought it was a sales tax that Japan has or something.
But from here at Trustpilot I learned from other comment that it actually is import tax, so everything is included in the price and you don't need to do customs clearance yourself (<150€ item)👍
The product itself was what I ordered and very well packaged.

Incredibly fast customer support and service.
Prior to ordering I had asked customer support about the tax deposit since it seemed somewhat confusing because I'm not used to a Japanese store actually using IOSS (shipping location Germany) and I thought it'd only affect American customers. What a neat surprise that everything just worked out as was shown and I didn't have to pay any extra custom duties!
The package was wrapped very well and secure and was even shipped on the same day I ordered.
Will absolutely recommend and order from here again.

Have ordered from here multiple times, and each time have been very happy with what I received.
Very large selection of figures and other anime/game related things. Also very affordable! Most of my figure collection has been ordered from here.
Very rarely has there been damage on the boxes and even when there was, it was very minor.
Delivery times are great, even when it's coming from so far away.
Highly recommended!

How is this shop not known widely?
Just recently received my first order from them.
Figure box was tight in the packeage, but safely packed (sturdy box & had bubble wrap around it).
I like that they offer shipping via Fedex, since EMS & co get delivered via national post service and here in germany they want me to pay custom fees at the door in CASH ONLY (What is this 1999?)
Only negative point is, after checkout i noticed there was a tax in my invoice. In the FAQ nothing is mentioned and in the new customer guide it says:
Import Duties
International shipments may be subject to import fees and import duties in addition to the product price and shipping charges. Such additional charges may be billed by the shipping carrier upon receipt of your package. Import taxes and import fees are not included in the merchandise price. Import taxes and import fees are imposed by your country of residence and are not determined by LapinNoir.JP or the shipping carrier. Generally, the shipping agent will collect these taxes on your behalf and pay them to your country of residence. Please check with your country's customs office for import taxes. These fees are paid to the government of your country and unfortunately we cannot track or control them. We are not involved in any of these matters and cannot answer questions regarding the amount of duties or other taxes. Any inquiries regarding customs duties or other taxes should be directed to the customs authorities in your country.
So i asked them via their contact form what this tax is supposed to be. They answered really fast and apparently for Europe they use the IOSS where u pay the tax automatically for purchases under 150€. Since my order was over 150€ they refunded me this tax in the same message.
Purchased on Friday and received my order the next Wednesday. They ship really fast.
All in all, i feel like this shop does 100% not deserve to be this unpopular.
I hope they also offer the more exclusive figures (like Aniplex) and bonus face editions (like kotobukiya), which i usally buy on other sites.

IOSS is a VAT (Value Added Tax) reporting system introduced in Europe in July 2021, under which the seller pays the VAT collected in advance at the time of sale to the tax authorities of EU member countries. The IOSS system is for businesses that sell goods to consumers in the EU.
We will be developing the system in the future, so we may change the procedure for items over 150 EUR. We are considering internally to stop accepting VAT deposits for goods over 150 euros, and there are plans to develop a system for this purpose. We will announce the details of the update on our SNS and on our website, so please check back. We are always looking for improvements and updates to ensure that our customers can make purchases with peace of mind. We are very grateful for your valuable feedback.
We will also positively consider the possibility of handling more limited edition products. We look forward to doing business with you again.
