Been living in this flat for 7 years have had bad experience with neighbours that do drugs in the street and let their dogs foul in the communal garden area and nothing ever done after years of complaining about it finally they have ban dogs in the communal areas and sent letters out hopefully this will solve the issue .thanks to the lady who came round and actually listened and did her job . Shame that it was not dealt with sooner would of saved a lot of unnecessary stress.

Let’s put it this way: this company lacks both knowledge and experience, and most likely also the willingness to resolve fairly simple problems. If you think that by paying more for rent you will receive better treatment and a more professional approach to problem-solving, you are seriously mistaken.

Alcoholics and drug addicts are placed in the flats, with all their expenses covered by the state, and wherever such people live, the environment is, of course, terrible. Marijuana is smoked in the flats and stairwells, dog waste is not cleaned up, and rubbish is everywhere.

Most importantly, this company has no understanding at all of how to deal with these issues and most likely has no real desire to do so either. I definitely do not recommend Langstane Housing.

This Landlord was once respected and didn't suffer antisocial behaviour, however in the last few years have shown they are only interested in taking in money and hiking up rents. They are simply not interested in any complaints re antisocial behaviour, leaving decent people no choice except to move. They are a disgrace. If you want a quiet life without high rents, avoid Langstane Housing.

My grand daughter had a broken bathroom basin for over two months 6year grandson broke by Accident has 3 children .has offered to pay for repair by instalment .As langstane will not replace until paid in full .just a joke as a health issue .Need to have a clear out of some of there staff .What would they do if was toilet pan.

Been in flat 6 yrs an nothin gets repaired, fence all broken outside property an they keep fobbing us off with sayin it was heatin company when it certainly not, useless company an my housing officer should be sacked the way she speaks and deals with her clients, their no better than some private landlords,

Worst housing company iv ever had to deal with quick enough to take ur money but won’t do anything to look after there housing won’t take responsibility for communal areas constantly arguing on the phone every time iv contacted them it’s been an argument been in one of there properties over 4 years not 1 upgrade absolute tip when I got the property horrible snottery people shouldn’t be working with the public at all

This company is a joke. Have had issues with the property i live in for years and they always fob you off or do a half assed job then say they not doing anything else to help. Also had issues with neighbours and do not feel safe living here yet despite the fact it their job to help move a tennant in this situation they do nothing and just say to apply for a mutual exchange. They also never answer their phones, and when they say they will call you back they never do. If you have the cash go private. DO NOT GET A LANGSTANE HOME.

Langstane wot a joke sticking plaster for all repairs stay clear go with private rent or council

Absolutely disgusting neglegence and failure to communicate with tennants. I'm a student and 19 years old living on my own so it's already difficult enough sometimes but this absolute disaster of a company really just put the icing on the cake. So I get paid an allowance from the DWP to cover my rent and living expenses while I'm a student. The DWP contacted langstane to confirm my housing details so my rent could be paid. Neither langstane or the DWP told me about this so I had no idea, but when I find out I'm getting paid only £160 I contacted the DWP and asked about it. They then tell me they've been trying to contact langstane but haven't had any response. Now this means I don't get the £350 for rent, so by langstanes own pathetic and ignorant actions, they've forced me to not pay any rent this month as the £160 will have to go to other things, and I bet they'll chase me up about it like it's my fault.

Another thing, I've called on 3 or 4 seperate occasions over about a month and a half about having a cold water outlet installed. Same call every time. "We'll have someone from repairs call you back". Never ever happens. Still need to take my washing to other peoples houses because I can't use my washing machine.

Never dealt with a langstane employee who wasn't an incompitent waste of time.
