We ordered three gorgeous brass and marble carts..

We ordered three gorgeous brass and marble rolling carts for bottle service at our nightclub in Chicago. They have been abused beyond reason, and are still solid as a rock and beautiful. We have just ordered more, very pleased with the quality and materials...However...It did take a few months to arrive, which was a bit frustrating. Sometimes quality is worth waiting for. We had a good experience with the staff we spoke to and emailed with. We received regular notification regarding delays. Overall, a 9 outta 10!

NO QUALITY

NO QUALITY, NO SERVICE, PLEASE DO NOT BUY!
The worst quality ever seen in my life for such an expensive, bad quality materials. The parcel arrived damaged, 3 months after purchase. They offered multiple deals, 5%, 15% refund plus a present from a list to choose. After not accepting it, continuous emails from their part were sent to choose another furniture of similar value. But no total refund was given. The quality is shocking so I am sure the rest of their products are the same. The furniture I received are in the skip, why would I want to go through the same process?

I am updating my previous review

I am updating my previous review to reflect what has become an unacceptable and deeply frustrating experience.

The product I received is of shockingly poor quality—easily the worst I have ever encountered. Despite clearly raising these issues, the company has repeatedly refused to issue a refund. Instead, they continue to push a replacement of the exact same substandard product, which completely ignores the core problem.

What is even more concerning is their attempt to shift all responsibility onto the customer. I have been told that if I want to return the item, I must cover *all* international shipping costs, including clearance fees. Their exact words:
*"We are unable to provide the relevant services. If you still want to proceed with a return, you're responsible for all shipping fee occurred during the international transportation, including clearance fee."*

This is not acceptable. It is an obvious attempt to discourage returns and avoid accountability.

A quick look at Trustpilot shows numerous customers reporting similar experiences, which strongly suggests this is not an isolated incident but a consistent pattern of behaviour. The company continues to make claims about quality control that simply do not match reality.

To make matters worse, they refuse to provide the name or contact details of anyone responsible, hiding behind generic, anonymous online responses rather than addressing the issue properly.

At this point, it is hard not to conclude that this company is deliberately misleading customers and doing everything possible to avoid taking responsibility when things go wrong.

I would strongly urge anyone considering purchasing from this company to read all the reviews on this platform.

Scammers

Scammers! I had to contact the Chinese consumer rights to get my money back after requesting a refund. Was going back and forth with them where they kept offering me a discount to keep my order. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Damaged Item Received, Poor Customer Service

I ordered a black Chandelier from this company and waited 4 months for it to arrive. Order no 804605

On opening the box it was clearly evident that the main stem of the Chandelier has a manufacturing fault. It looks as though a slug has crawled over it but on closer inspection the fault is on the inside of the glass so must have been there when it was made. It looks awful.

Also the ceiling plate fixings do not match either the picture on website or the included instructions. It is completely different and there is a threaded pipe and washers missing from the pack so I cdd as my even hang it.

Emailed Lakiq support and sent them photos and videos showing the damage and missing parts.

I was initially told “ We’ve reviewed your case and can confirm that while the item may have damage, its functionality and overall quality remain unaffected.

As our valued customer, we would like to offer you 15% coupon and Thank You Gift”

This is a totally unacceptable response. Why would I want to keep it with a 15% coupon of a future purchase and a cheap Thank you Gift?

I emailed again saying I wouldn’t accept this and want to return it.

Got message again this morning offered me 5% off!

This company clearly doesn’t understand how to treat customers. Why would I want to keep and item that has a huge imperfection in it and that is functionally useless since I can’t hang it.

Wish I had read reviews on here before buying as I certainly would not have purchased had a known how many customers receive bad products and experience from this company.

I know things can go wrong but it’s how the problems are dealt with that is important and Lakiq certainly need to get their act together and be more proactive.

Update 7/5/26

I have spent a week emailing Lakiq back and forth demanding my right to reflect the goods as they are faulty and return for full refund.

Each time Lakiq offer me a free gift or replacement product with discounts ranging from 5% to 20%.

I made it abundantly clear several times that I don’t want a replacement as that will take weeks and weeks to get here with no guarantee that it will be any better. They completely ignore my rejection requests.

I have had no choice but to file a chargeback claim with my card provider.

Absolutely shocking Customer Service.

Lakiq seem to feel that as they are not based in the UK they can circumvent our consumer rights laws.

Will have to see if my chargeback claim is settled.

This is NOT a trustworthy business

This is NOT a trustworthy business. They are slow to gather your order. Shipping takes weeks to months, depending on how long the ocean freighter takes to get from China to US. When I decided to cancel my order (items were not shipped yet), they asked me to confirm my cancellation 4 times, back and forth via email. I had to confirm twice that I would accept their 20% handling fee instead of any deal they offered on their products. I have yet to receive an 80% refund. Do not trust this company.

Cheap and nasty products is the best way to describe this Lakiq

The biggest mistake to not read reviews before purchasing what they call good quality bookshelf. It was absolute rubbish and the fact they stand by their quality and sell their poor quality products on Amazon is beyond me. I have no idea how Amazon still lets them sell their products on their platform with all these negative feedback and reviews. Once assembled it almost falls over and there is gaps in between the joints and was built by a handyman who looked at me in disgust as to why I would buy such a terrible cheap looking product. This company are scammers and there should be a warning before anyone buys from them. Cheap and nasty should be what comes up when you try and purchase from them.

No 100% it’s Lakiq. I don’t have the wrong Company there are Google suggestions of your association with Amazon. But no it’s you. I don't know how many times I have to tell you that it is your company. If I could attach a copy of the receipt to this review I would. But I am doing one better. Please don't tell me I have the wrong company. You do sell your rubbish products on Amazon. Buyers refer to the below!!!

AVOID LAKIQ

Lakiq is honestly one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. I ordered a piece of furniture from them and the whole experience turned into a complete nightmare.

When the furniture arrived, the first thing I noticed was that there were absolutely no assembly instructions. Nothing. No manual, no guide, nothing in the box. I literally had to hire someone to help me figure it out, and even then it took hours of trying to guess how everything was supposed to fit together.

Then I realized the color was completely wrong, not even close to what I ordered. But it gets worse, the product isn’t even the same as the picture they advertise. The listing clearly showed a wine cabinet with 12 spaces to store wine bottles, which is exactly why I bought it. The one I received only has 9 spaces, which makes it a completely different product.

The quality is also terrible. The materials feel cheap, flimsy, and poorly made. It definitely doesn’t feel like something that will last long.

When I contacted customer service to explain all these issues: wrong color, wrong design, missing instructions, and bad quality, they told me I would have to return the furniture myself and pay for shipping. The problem is that the furniture is pretty big, so shipping it back to China would cost hundreds of dollars. They basically expect the customer to spend a ridiculous amount of money just to return their mistake.

And even after explaining all of that, they still didn’t want to refund my money.

So basically: wrong product, wrong color, missing instructions, terrible quality, hours wasted trying to assemble it, and the company refuses to take responsibility.

Avoid Lakiq at all costs. This has easily been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.

Product quality low, delayed shipping to U.S., poor customer service

1 - Shipping times to the US take a long time - make sure you are not in a hurry if you choose to buy from the company. My product took over 2 months to arrive.
2 - Product quality lower than what I'd expect at the price point. For example, the image on the website has a clean wood side, but in person there are giant screws visible.
3 - Product broken upon arrival - no refund available, sent me a picture of the instructions and asked me to circle the missing pieces that I could receive in another 2 months.
4 - Changed the review to 2 stars because refund was provided after working directly with my bank to contest the charge, since customer service was poor.

Coffee table never arrived

We purchased 2202635467 Contemporary Oak Triangle Coffee Table with Abstract Wood Base - Natural Finish in July 2025 and paid £283 for it , its now April 2026 and we still haven't received what we paid for ?
after multiple emails to Lakiq support we were told out table would be delivered on the 19/12/2025, it never arrived. After multiple emails we were told it had been damaged in transit
I asked for a refund but I still haven't received anything
Lakiq support are hopeless and just make stupid offers to fob you off this is all a big Chinees scam, don't deal with these people
Read all the other feed back its virtually all 1 star because they are scammers
With all this negative feedback there must be some international body we can report to to get this company shut down

Lakiq is a SCAM

Lakiq is a SCAM. They know exactly what they are doing. You order a product in my case a wardrobe. Thinking it’s solid wood or whatever BS they put in their description, instead you get a complete piece of trash. I went through PayPal to order this product. I tried making a dispute straight with LAKIQ but you always get this generic AI written apology saying they are unable to get me a return but instead give me a choice in some other trash to pick from since I’m “such a loyal Costomer”. PayPal was able to get with someone God knows who and they agreed to get me a full refund once I shipped the product back to them and PayPal received a tracking number. Not sure if anyone has ever shipped a large box of trash to China Well I’ll tell you, you can’t unless you wanna spend well over $1000.00 to do it. So back where I said they know what they are doing. They know they are going to ship you trash say they have a good return policy but in reality you get screwed in the end. I can’t believe PayPal is even attached to this company’s name. seeing PayPal, you almost get a feeling that company is going to be legit. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS.
All these return comments from Lakiq on this review site are BS too. They make it sound like they are helping that person out when in reality they are emailing you on the side saying they can’t do anything
PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM LAKIQ THEY ARE A COMPLETE SCAM!!!

Regarding the PayPal dispute, PayPal reviews cases carefully and makes decisions based on the information provided by both sides. If the product had been completely unsellable or entirely different from what was described, PayPal typically sides with the buyer. The fact that they requested the item to be returned before issuing a refund is part of their standard process.

I sincerely apologize if our communication felt generic at times—that was never our intention. We strive to support every customer personally, and I'm sorry we fell short in your case. We are actively working to improve both our products and our customer service experience.

Worst quality and worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever experienced; products of ridiculously low quality materials and delivered rusty, dented and damaged in many areas. I immediately provided clear evidence (pictures and videos) of the items. They offered a 5% refund with ridiculous excuses. At the end, after one months of enails, they agreed for a higher refund (still unacceptable). Really the worst!
