La Huella – Café de Panama is a family-run specialty coffee producer built around one simple idea: exceptional coffee should be traceable all the way back to where it was grown. Our coffees come from our own farm in the highlands of Boquete, Panama, on the slopes of Volcán Barú. This region is internationally known for producing some of the world’s most distinctive specialty coffees, including the celebrated Panama Geisha. Because we grow and process our own coffee, we stay closely involved in every stage of its journey. We focus on small and nano lots, carefully selected according to each harvest and the conditions of the farm. Our coffees include Geisha and Catuai varieties, with a particular focus on natural and honey processing methods that highlight sweetness, fruit, florals and the character of the Panamanian terroir. Our approach combines quality with sustainability, transparency and respect for the people and environment behind every cup. We believe sustainability means caring not only for the land and biodiversity of our farm, but also for the people who work with us and the local community around it. Coffee is freshly roasted for each order rather than kept roasted on a warehouse shelf, helping our customers receive it close to its optimal freshness. We ship our coffees internationally and also offer selected green coffee lots for roasters. Several La Huella coffees have received Great Taste Awards, but for us the most important measure remains what is in the cup. From our farm in Boquete to coffee lovers around the world, our goal is to share an authentic expression of Panama specialty coffee.See more
