Incompetent and Arrogant
If I could give this lot a minus 5 I would- they are completely useless and extremely arrogant
I would have given zero stars
I would have given zero stars, ver,y very poor, don't answer their phones or email, not professional, I think they're a bit arrogant, if you treat your customers badly, that reputation will spread, and they will be in a doom loop, I give them 3years if nothing changes,
Simon Le Fosse, if you read this, give me a call, and I will happily share my experiences and the problems with your culture. It's not just me; read the other reviews.
Terrible recruiters
Lazy recruiters. 2 min screening call, no prep for interviews, they couldn't even drop me a text after the final interview with the verdict. I will never work with them.

If there was a recruitment agency that I could give zero stars to it would be la fosse. I have had nothing but complete ghosting from them for years even when applying to roles that have matched 100% to my profile, I am a seasoned contractor with over 15 years experience, I've even emailed the agency directly and reached out on LinkedIn to understand why they never return my calls, reply to emails or applications and to ask if I'm blacklisted for some reason but no response still to date.
From my personal experience of complete ghosting for years I can only round it down to that this agency are reluctant to provide their clients with candidates from minority ethnic backgrounds.
A complete joke
I applied the the Academy as the 2 year placement sounded like a great opportunity. I did the online assessment, personality test and technical test. A few days later I received an email saying that I passed the assessment, I should schedule an online interview.
However, there were no slots available. The link leads nowhere. I tried to schedule it 10 minutes after I received the email, so it is also highly improbable that all slots were gone by then.
I sent 3 emails to the person who sent me the link as "don't hesitate to get in touch", but I didn't receive any replies.
On LinkedIn, I reached out to the head of talent aquistion, and no reply.
Today however I received an email to remind me to schedule m interview, as if they don't hear from me within 7 days, they will take it as I withdrew my application.

Applied for a number of jobs, 10+ years of experience as a data scientist for a global company - and nothing. Ghosted. As usual. As if I don't exist.
Tried calling and you just speak to a 'switchboard' which are clueless. There doesn't seem to be an actual human being that works at this place.

La Fosse = Pit Grave in English. Spot On.
La Fosse are a professional looking recruitment agency. They search LinkedIn for people looking for work. However, they are very poor at what they do. They'll ask for your CV and you'll never hear from them again.
Usually even the poorest of recruiters will get in touch to say that they haven't been able to move things forwards, but La Fosse seems primarily good at talking until they've received your CV and then silence. Even if you chase them up, they will not respond. Very odd company.
Masters of Ghosting
Have had several "opportunities" from Lafosse. Typical process is they call you about a role (really great fit etc), submit CV.....then nothing. Chase them up, just never ever any feedback, which makes you question if the roles exist.
By the way I deal with many recruiters as an independent contractor and I know this is not unusual with some, but that's not my typical experience with the others I deal with, just with Lafosse it's every single time.
My experience with La Fosse Staffing…
My experience with La Fosse Staffing and Recruiting's recruitment process left much to be desired. After initially contacting me about a role, I promptly sent in my CV as requested. However, what followed was a frustrating two-month silence with no communication whatsoever.
Just when I thought I had been overlooked, the specific job reappeared on the market. With renewed hope, I applied again, only to be told that I was deemed suitable for the role and would be scheduled for an interview. Yet again, I was met with deafening silence.
The lack of communication and disregard for candidates' time and effort is utterly unacceptable. It's disheartening to see a company I was initially interested in treating potential hires in such a dismissive manner. It's evident that La Fosse Staffing and Recruiting has a long way to go in improving their recruitment process and treating candidates with the respect they deserve. Needless to say, I no longer have any desire to be associated with a company that demonstrates such poor communication and disregard for individuals.
A Rogue CV Harvesting Company
Have been scanning their advertised job vacancy in network and network security. They seems to advertise 100s of jobs but all fakes. They are just collecting CVs and then may be selling them to other agency. When you call enquiring about the position advertised, it is never picked up.
Unprofessional and poor attitude.
Unprofessional and poor attitude.
Advised a job and asked me to send cv directly to the email.. since called few times no answer to voice-mail, text or email.
Even a normal human being have courtesy to revert or respond however one should definitely have that much of professionalism to act like mature specially dealing with big profile roles. It's furious to have calls ignored.
With this poor attitude it left bad taste in my mouth. You need more training and accountability to train your staff on better service.
We have many job requirements currently from entry level Qa roles to 2 x manager thankfully due to this poor attitude I will never engage La Fosse to fulfill any of our roles
I've been contacted by this company…
I've been contacted by this company multiple times for 2 different roles. What I think is wrong with them:
- They never call back when they say they'll call back.
- They keep cancelling the last minute or moving it
- They seem very unprofessional
I'm honestly going to avoid roles from this company. Because of how unprofessional they handle applicants.
Rachel approached me for a role but…
Rachel approached me for a role but then never responded to my email or the message I left. Why get in touch, then make me chase? What a waste of my time and ruined my hope of securing a role. Will avoid La Fosse roles in future.

La Fosse Academy - Don’t Bother!
If you’re applying for the 12 week bootcamp at La Fosse Academy, don’t bother!! Only 30% of the hybrid cohort gets offered a placement role and only 10% of those roles involve any coding. No chance to get any interviews if you do the bootcamp remotely. Most of the time they only have Business Analyst, QA software testing roles and no developer or data roles which is crazy because you spend 12 weeks training to be a web dev. They’ll tell you it’s possible to change to a coding role after you join but once you sign their 2 year contract you are trapped cos they’ll threaten to charge you 15k to leave! Better to apply to companies directly.

Seriously question their professionalism
I am a regular user of the LinkeIn social media site. This week I received an approch from LaFosse asking if I was interested in a particular role. I replied that I was but go no acknowledgement. I did phone the person to follow up but having got an answer and been asked to phone back in half an hour I did this and got no answer from the number. Left a VM, no response and also no response to the linked in reply. I have a job that requies me to fullfill vacencies for Clients from time to time and I think you can judge from how a company treats candidates what sort of reputation they are going to give your business in the market. There are much more responsive agents out there.
Lack of response from recruiters
Lack of response from recruiters. They don't seem to engage with you to support you in getting a job. Most disengaging recruiters I have met.
Great experience over a number of years
I have used La Fosse a number of times over the last 4 years, mostly to find contractor resources within the media industry. I have been impressed every time as they came back to me within a short timeframe (usually 1-3 days) with very relevant candidates, most of whom were taken on after interviewing. Compared to other agencies I have used, La Fosse have communicated well (keeping me updated regularly), only produced relevant candidates according to my spec, and on top of that have always been a pleasure to speak with and get the balance right of staying in touch without feeling like I am being harassed to give them business. Keep it up La Fosse!
Delayed Payments!!!
Despite having 30 Days to pay me my money they manage to miss the payment due date. Not only that, they have not communicated that there would be a delay. I had to chase them to get an update and get paid for work done more than 30 days ago!
Also, bear in mind, that the 5 Star Reviews they have are "Invited" Users - meaning they La Fosse requested a review from users that they knew would leave 5 stars.
Highly recommend!
In a business like Recuitment where there is no place for building personal relationship, La fosse is a distinct outlier. I work with many Recuitment agencies but La fosse for me has stood out in terms of the high quality and service. Very proactive with client and candidate in pushing to close issues for satisfaction of both parties. I have no problem in recommending them, I rate them highly and hope they keep their high standards.
