Elie Seroussi was born in Paris in 1958. Growing up in the center or Paris he developed a strong taste for fashion and craftsmanship. He opened his first fashion house, CECILE & JEANNE, in his late twenties, and built it into the well known brand it is today, with 10 boutiques in the prime Paris locations.

Elie raised his three children between the family ranch in Burgundy and the atelier in Paris. His oldest daughter, Natacha, took a keen interest in his work at a young age and showed a strong passion for fashion, the arts, and nature. After completing her studies of the arts Natacha naturally partnered up with her forever mentor and biggest supporter; Elie.

Together Elie and Natacha decided to do things differently. They wanted to create a brand that would combine the essence of who they are and what they believe in. Their products needed to be chic, elegant and modern… as well as environmentally friendly, vegan, and sustainable. They set off to design their first product - bobobark was born.

Love these products!

I have the bobobark backpack and I love it! I'm a small business owner as well as a WFH employee so I often carry two lap tops... They both fit in my bobobark which is impressive! Because I walk around with a lot of electronics, I got the clutch wallet and find that it fits my mouse and various attachments. Two thumbs (or dare I say laptops) up- highly recommend!

Sustainable luxury

When they say Lifetime Warranty, they mean it. I had to replace the closure for my Trolala (thanks to a flight attendant shoving my bag) and a mirror in my Moi Moi (thanks to be rear-ended), and LaFlore replaced the broken parts. I'm happy with their products and service!

Not worth the investment

I wanted to use the bag for work and travel and it was incredibly small. Hardly held my laptop and tablet along with my wallet. I’m very disappointed because I had to leave the bag behind in the states and carry a tote which is not the option I wanted. It’s also very heavy with nothing inside. I wish I would have skipped this purchase.

Beautiful bags that turn to trash in less than a year

I own both the bobobark and bebebark, and I honestly regret buying them. Within a year, both bags turned into literal trash; the cork started peeling off from the base, exposing the ugly lining underneath. And yes, I used their official care products and conditioned them regularly, exactly as instructed.

Their marketing about these bags being “for life” is a blatant lie. Don’t fall for it. When I contacted customer service, they told me this kind of peeling is part of the “natural lifecycle of cork.” Seriously? That’s their excuse for a bag disintegrating?

To make it worse, their warranty is only 90 days, which should tell you everything you need to know. When I asked for a return or replacement, all they offered was a discount on another bag. As if I’d want another one after this disaster!

Yes, the bags are undeniably cute. But don’t be fooled by the aesthetic or eco-friendly marketing; the quality is terrible, durability is nonexistent, and customer service is dismissive. Save your money and skip Laflore Paris altogether.
